my brother is heading down to Glasgow today for a concert so he is going to let me know what like it is heading south, as the radio says south of Stonehaven is bad

I used to get the train to dundee from stirling every sat for work and it cost me £15 return so I wouldn't think it would be much more to glasgow. Its a glasgow queen st train that you get Comes from Aberdeen

I used to get a cheap day return from Stirling to Perth then another from Perth to Dundee and it work out cheaper than a direct ticket for some reason Might be cheaper for a direct return from Dundee to Glasgow Queen St Takes about 50 mins for Dundee to Stirling so would only be another 40 mins to glasgow (if that) The bus takes AGES

Well I am getting the train from Aberdeen so if you do we could maybe get the same one?? My one leaves aberdeen at 8.41am... will check what time it is in Dundee

That sounds good! I'm not too worried about prices (I even have a railcard even though I am technically too old for it), but if it was really inflated for some reason I would have to think again. I will wait to buy tickets until I know which train you are on, Sarah!

Oh, and there is snow here and in Fife (I can see it- so pretty!), but not enough to affect trains.

Ok, thats me booked... I should have done it the other day when it was £40-odd now it is £62

Anyways, my train leaves Aberdeen at 0841, gets to Dundee at 0950... arrives in Glasgow Queen Street at 1114.

Are the people getting the train still going to meet at the station as I am crap with any sort of directions!!!

Aimee and I can't make it. The conjunctitivis has returned again so I am going to have to take her to the doctors in the morning. I don't want her giving her eye boggies to any other babies anyway! Just bummed that I can't make it.
