From miscarriages to miracle - James Michael. Our sticky bean born on Daddy's B'day

Cripes, I know how your feeling - I start work in a couple weeks. Thankfully only 3h a day.

We are checking out a nursery today actually I hope it goes well I don't need added stress haha!

Remember if James is cutting a tooth his nappy might get more runny - J had the odd runny one but some babies get runs quite bad!

Hope u enjoy ur KIT day (will it be as your new role?)

James will enjoy rolling around and exploring granny's house.

Work was OK, I was back in my old role and it is so quiet (last few weeks of school holidays so lots of our clients are away)

My manager took me out for lunch which was lovely.

James was fine for Daddy but asleep when I got in, I was waiting to see his reaction and he was sound asleep

He was beaming at me the moment he woke up though.

Granny is excited to have him come and play tomorrow and I am excited for 5pm tomorrow when I can come home and have my baby all to myself again.

How am I ever going to cope with full time?? I know B is having him but I am so used to not working. I mean looking after James is hard work but at least if I want to I can stay in my PJ's all day and not speak to anyone :nap:

xxxxxxxxxx

Aw hun glad it went well!! Bet its so hard to leave him though?

Sounds like your KiT days have been going great for you. The best thing knowing little James will be waiting for you with a big smile for his mummy!

I've got 6 weeks left and I'm starting to seriously stress out about it, I don't want it to ruin my last few weeks with M!

x

I am fine leaving James with B (OH), I don't even think twice.

Today I dropped him at Granny's with all his stuff - sob, sob!

Mrsw, I think it is natural to feel the way you do. I am back 2nd Jan so I will probably ruin Crimbo but sitting around sobbing that I have to leave my baby

The fact OH is having him makes me feel a lot better but it's still very difficult. Since the day I found out I was having James (1st March 2012) he has been part of me and leaving him 5 days a week for 8 hours a day is going to take a lot of adjustment

Finally James has learned to move forward. It's not proper crawling (it is commando crawling) but he is fast and he is hilarious...

Amber doesn't know what is going on bless her!

Also James has learned how to do "gimme 5" which is so funny as well....

Toothy peg popped through but still not fully out but he isn't in pain anymore.

We went to the Thames today, this is James by St Paul's...

He'd fallen asleep by the time we got to all the other landmarks (London Eye, Houses of Parliament and Big Ben) so no piccies to prove he was there lol..

Ah, he's doing so well hon :) He looks like a proper little boy - like you said on my journal, they're real little people now :) James is so lucky to live in London as he gets to see a lot of great stuff! Gimme 5 sounds like a fun game too! It's amazing when they start doing more and more stuff isn't it? Glad the return to work hasn't been too painful though don't know what kit days are? xx

Ha ha, he loved the swing!!

ceebee, KIT days are "keeping in touch" days and you can work up to 10 days during maternity leave for full pay but not compromise your maternity benefits

I've done 4 so far and need to do another 4 in November and December.

Since the weather got better it's been fab being a Mummy in London, there is so much to do (a lot of it free as well) but so much is weather dependent.

After a long, harsh winter I am loving this good weather.... Just finalising tomorrow's plans (either a picnic or the farm with my friend and her 2 kiddies)

Just making fatty an omelette and then hopefully after a few lengths of the house he'll have a nap and I can have a cuppa on the balcony

xxxxxxx

Ahh, that's such a cute pic :) Harry loves the swing too!! Thanks for explaining KIT days - 10 days isn't too bad I guess? I'm loving this summer too - long may it last! xxx

A few piccies of bub.

In bed, at the farm today and the mini pic is when we went to feed the ducks a few days ago.

Had a proper "smile" moment this evening.

Some guy chased me up the road {I thought James had dropped something from the pram} and he apologised but told me he'd overheard me talking to my baby and he thought it was so sweet, the then said he knew there would me a man waiting for me at home but he just wanted to tell me that he thought I was stunning!

Another guy walked passed as he was saying this, and this guy said "I hear you bro" and carried on walking.... LOL!

Bizarre but such an ego massage!

Also Arsenal beat Spurs - a good day in North London!!
