I tried a buttery when I was up in Scotland last! I'd never heard of them so I had to try it! Didn't like it though it tasted really salty! :puke: :lol:

yes!! buns are small and round lol or if its got icing over it then its an iced bun! or iced finger! if its a long teacake! (teacake = roll, cob, bap, watever u lot call them) :lol: :lol: :lol:

Also down here if i mention oatcakes(staffordshire ones im originally from crewe) i also get a strange look..its nice when my nanna comes down as she brings a stash of them along with proper cheshire cheese!!!

:wave: we used to take bag fulls of them to my dad when he was in Hereford - now he's in turkey we can't get them there Oatcakes are the best cure for a hangover
 
I call them bread buns and a vanilla slice is defo a cake :D

We can get Chicken Parmesans here, I don't think anywhere else do them but someone may prove me wrong :wink:
