****** February 2018 Mummy's thread. Hello tri 2 *****

I’m hoping it’s normal, one day I’ll get loads of kicks and then some days there’s nothing

Evening xxx

Hope everyone's ok.

I'm with you all on the emotional front. My little boy said he'd only be an astronaut if I was with him as well and I was a sobbing mess haha! Anything sets me off!

Loads of movement here, I'm 24+6. Rolls, kicks, jolts... the knee by my rib is very uncomfortable! I get a lot of sessions of movement a day which is nice and reassuring.

Need to book my midwife appointment for 28w. How often are we meant to go after that?

Aww just trying that's brilliant news!! It is such a worry when you can't feel much but I agree with everyone in that it looks to be quite normal at this stage? Once we get further on then we will need to monitor more closely xx

Hi Wednesday! Such good news about your movements that must be reassuring for you! I think from looking at my notes is it around every 3 weeks after that then moves to fortnightly then weekly just before d day...

Oh my god we are edging nearer now!!! Xxx

We have quiet days, usually followed by very lively days.

I hate the quiet days so much

Only a few weeks left of Tri 2 for me, and I'm in complete denial that there is another baby coming..... soon(ish)
My kids are almost 5 and almost 3 and I've forgetten everything about newborns.

Got GTT on 7th and 28w appt on 14th (which is my eldest and Daddy's birthday). Need to get my MatB1 and I need to finalise my finish date.

X

BabyRuth, there is a 'kicks count' campaign and I was given a leaflet by MW which advises about reduced movement.

Thanks carnat, will ask about this at my next midwife appt on 1st November it sounds useful!! I still haven't had my matb1 form and I'm assuming il get that then too? Gosh yes, not long left of tri 2 for you.., I'm sure these weeks are getting faster now!! Once Christmas is done, it's going to feel so real:)

My sister is having a booked section for her first birth on Wednesday she is having twins!! Soooo exciting my mum and dad are.becoming grandparents for the first time to 3 babies within a few months haha their heads are spinning!!

So glad everyone is feeling ok.

Beginning to feel kicks on the outside today which is surreal. Baby is also kicking pretty much non stop and really hard today. I'm loving it. :D

Hey everyone! Jamie st catching up after a week away as we’ve been on holiday in sunny Cyprus (just waiting for our coach to the airport now).

Good to hear all is well for everyone, and you’re all starting to feel babies kick more now!

I’m 22+1 and baby is very active now. I’ve got an anterior placenta, but I thinking lfting a little as I’m starting to get a few kicks at the front, that are a bit higher than I’ve had before. Baby is also trolling my OH, I can feel kicks from the outside, but I every time I tell Jamie to put his hand there baby stops...little monkey! Haha xx

Hi everyone! Hope you are all well xx

I've also just felt baby from the outside for the first time today!! And hubbie also managed to feel it! Such a special moment he was really shocked to feel it lol xx

Had my flu jab earlier and whilst I was there she gave me the whooping cough one too. The WC arm aches already, when I had it during DDs pregnancy my arm was completely achey, I could barely move it without it aching. So I'm expecting it this time

I need to call and book mine. So much going on with the house move though it's unreal.

Also can't believe how fast things are going. I'm 22 weeks in a few days which must make some of you almost 1 week to tri 3!

I'm 22 weeks today :) hows the move going?

Didn't sleep well last night, my arms ache, especially the whooping cough one. Can't do a lot without it hurting.

Had my repeat scan yesterday! My baby is a nuisance  the first time they tried to scan me she was laying on her heart so they couldn't get a good shot of it, hence another half an hour wait, Had to fill my bladder, drink a bottle of coke and see if she'd co operate! Luckily she did but after that coke she didn't hold still  really cannot win!..i must have worlds most stubborn baby! but everything is growing as it should (and she's still a girl! :D)

I've got mine on 7th (GTT). Had one last time too, didn't think it was too bad? Or maybe I'm remembering with rose tinted glasses lol.

Selphie: We still have no set date and the house we are moving into needs a really deep clean and new kitchen. So I have that to contend with. Anxiety is taking a beating.
Luckily OH is a superstar.

Maybe i was just tired and also my tailbone was painful so sitting in one place for 2 hours was tough . Being alone didnt help either. Also the sugar rush gave me a headache . I think i was just having a bad day lol

7th isn't too far. Do you think you have diabetes? I really dont think i do.
