I hope I don't have diabetes.

I had a higher BIM at booking appt so GTT was booked as standard.
Had one in my other pregnancy as something flagged up in my urine. GTT showed all was ok.

Got to have my 28w bloods at same appointment as GTT. So maybe it is going to be rough

I have a higher BMI too so need a GTT and there's diabetes in my family! Absolutely terrified of the thought as needles have never been my speciality! No I hate em :/ I didn't have one with my son..probably because I was skinnier with him!

If only there was a way to avoid that dreaded GTT! but I know it's imminent so there's nothing I can possibly say or do to make em leave me alone

It's the final hurdle (and most uncomfortable) now.

My gums (bottom teeth) are growing upwards? What is this? Another joy of pregnancy?

Anyone else get this? Mine have luckily not been bleeding though.

Yes on the pains. They're called fanny daggers. Remembering that makes me chuckle when I get them

I have terrible gums so yes on that front. They're worse than normal.

Top that off I got the dreaded bum issues. Ice packs all round. (Cries)

Had both injections yesterday. Woke up feeling super shaky. But at least it isn't flu right?

I think it might just be coincidence ts?

The flu isn't a live vaccine (nor is WC) and whilst side effects are rare, they don't appear immediately.

If you are poorly - fingers crossed you aren't - then it will be something you already had in your system.

Carnat I get this every year with the flu jab. Always feel shaky and wiped out the next day. No idea why.

Last year I forgot to book it and got flu. I'll take the shakes lol

i had my flu jab two weeks ago but didn't have any side effects other that a sore arm to sleep on.
DH felt kicks last night, he was so chuffed!

Happy v-day to me!!

Think my iron levels are in the toilet it's been so hard getting my iron since I'm off meat I can't eat it! I know some veg has a lot of iron in but I'm off those too I've been feeling so tired, sick and light headed it makes me wonder about my iron levels :/ so many problems!..i know she's going to be worth it in the end! Can't believe were over half way now and February is only nearly 3 months away :O it's crazy!

Nearly 27 weeks for me. Just a few days to go. I have still not bought a single thing for this baby! Yikes..

My house is upside down. Hubby is decorating the entire upstairs, I have no carpets, weeun is seeping on a mattress on the floor etc I need a whole week off work to sort it all out!

I count myself as 27 weeks Wednesday based on the size of the baby at the 12 week scan. But as they didn’t change my date at that scan it’s officially Thursday same as you. But I like rounding up �� in any case they told me latest would be 39 weeks so I’m strictly speaking January!

Im still only just hitting 23 weeks. But I'll likely just sneak over early. Just promise you won't all have babies and leave me lol.

My Diabetes result came back negative. woohoo.

Everything is healthy.
Have SPD but told unless its severe, theres not much I can do about it.

27 weeks this Friday.

Other half has decided to do some renovations in the living room and he has SEVERE ANTS which means I have to go along and show full undivided interest to his intense passions for anything to do with building works.

Other than that, next appointment is an Anti D shot.

Hope everyone else is doing ok.
