That hospital bag is in the back of my mind always mean to pick a few things up when I'm out then I forget whoops! I must get sorted! Not sure when it's supposed to be done by but I think I'll be doing mine soon then I can forget about it lol x
Anytime from now I think basically - even if you only do the odd few bits every week it's better than nothing!! I keep meaning to start making a list but haven't quite got round to it yet. Maybe after Christmas might actually start.
Lol helly- I can't be like that when I'm pregnant .. I literally get stressed when things aren't perfect so I have to plan ahead otherwise I send myself into a hormonal mess
Hi everyone cant believe were in 3rd trimister already...not posted in a while but just got a quick question...iv been getting really bad pains in my lower tummy all weekend, mainly on my right side just wondered if this is normal as this is my first baby not sure what to expect thanks
Likely just Round ligament pain Dmjh (growing pains!) - try not to worry. As long as baby is active and nothing else is 'off' just relax & keep an eye on things. You know your body though so if you feel somethings really not right pick up the phone to the midwife, that's what they are there for! Hope you feel better soon
Yeah same... I get it almost like a dull ache and occasionally like period pains. It scared me the first time I got them but now kinda used to it. Sure it's just growing, there's a lot going on in there and now is when baby puts most weight on! I spoke to my midwife about it and she said as long as baby is moving and the pains aren't coming in a pattern not to worry.
I'm very proud of myself... I've just put together our gliding Moses basket stand!! I did it upside down at first. Lol
So in top of my SPD I received a letter this morning to inform me I am anaemic! So just been to pick up ferrous sulphate from the doctors erghhhhh I knew something not right have been tired all through this pregnancy it's never give up! Hopefully now I'll pick up a bit! Fingers crossed x
Hi all! Can't believe how organised most of you are....this is our first baby and we've only bought the buggy, a grow bag and the Gro-Egg temperature thingy! Can't decide on crib, thinking the Chicco next to me as everyone seems to rave about it - any opinions? But we're thinking we'll get a lot in the January sales, plus we'll get a lot of clothes as presents, so don't want to get too much just yet. What have you all packed in your hospital bags, anything unusual or just the standard nightie, slippers, ipod etc? Also has anyone travelled abroad by plane with a small baby, do you know if its safe to take your own car seat with you? I wouldn't want to hire one, but at the same time I'd worry about the car seat getting bashed about in the hold? Hope you're all doing well
What a crap day!! Started off by falling down the stairs really shook me up. I've become so clumsy. Work is really hard now too. I think coz I know when I'm leaving I'm finding little things are getting to me more. And I seem to have forgotten how to drive properly!!
Lucky is looked at one of those next to me things and didn't quite like it. I guess it's personal preference. Somehow I felt she would be safer in her own lil Moses basket. Keep your eyes out on online sales... They've got some really good Black Friday sales on at the mo. I got a yummy mummy change bag for £40!!
Lucky I think you can take car seats on board but the have to be front facing which a newborn one wouldn't be. You can buy special bags to put them in to pad them out. It's abit of a catch 22 because I wouldn't necessarily want to put our seat in the hold but wouldn't want to hire a cheap and nasty one either.
I'm having a massively hormonal and grumpy day today .. Not good
Thanks, we've decided to drive and just take our own car seat with us. Saves worrying about it getting bashed about etc. Hope you're all feeling better - its Friday!
