Well Ladies I hope that picture worked!!! I can't really believe it myself.

Firstly Tasha CONGRATS!!!! just clocked your avatar!!! I have been so rubbish lately keeping up with all the news, with not TTCing I've found it easier to stay away from the site. I did pop in from time to time. You'll never get rid of me now!!!

As you all know I didn't think I could possibly be pg. DH sick of the umming and ahing agreed with Loola and said just test and then we can move on. So on the way home from work I got a test. I was bursting for the loo. Flew up the stairs when I got home shouting DH to follow me did the test after 30 seconds nothing appeared so that was it I wasn't pg (patience has never been my strongest quality!) as I was washing my hands DH said is it 2 lines for pg? If it is then you are!

I couldn't speak I was in such shock. We've tried working out when on earth we could've BD at the right time. It seems all I need to conceive is a sunny holiday and a referral letter.

I'm a bit worried as I've got the weird stabbing pains in my tummy but I have them all the time so probably nothing to do with the pg. If anything it's probably the constipation making it worse.

So I'm about 4 weeks I think. Not even worked out when I'm due. I'm going to ask the doc if I can have a reassurance scan at 8wks. I don't think I'll be able to fully relax until I see it. Then we'll wait until 12 weeks to tell everyone. My parents and best mates know. Just told my boss. Poor man if it all goes to plan 2 of us will be on mat leave together.

I don't know what to do with myself now!!!!

Thanks for all your lovely messages. I love you all and yet I've never met any of you!!!

It's so good to be back and feel like I can get fully involved again. I was so down about the mc I thought it would never happen.

Well I've finally caught up on all the news.

Loola - great news you're all chilled and loving life. It'll definitely happen when your ready. I'm glad you and Mike are enjoying each others company. Your Tat sounds amazing. I'd love to have one but DH hates them.

Mildly - My friends little girl was tongue tied, she's 6 months old and they've just snipped it. She was frustrated too as her LO couldn't feed properly and was slightly underweight, she was healthy though. She couldn't believe how quick the procedure was too free it. Apparently in the good old days the midwife would do it as soon as the baby was born!!

ROM - I hope George enjoyed his boogie round the kitchen.

Flossy - glad little smith is progressing well

Chok and Sally I hope you get to meet your LO's soon without too much pain!!

Tasha - I'm a wee bit scare of 1st Tri at least you and Kitty are there to hold my hand!

I really couldnt be happier for you both I totally understand your worries but that is one strong line hun! Im sure the symptoms will come on soon enough What fantastic news this is!

ROM you are right the chart stalkers do seem to get pregnant in waves, I just hope no-one waits for me as its going to be a while before I get pregnant (saying that Im actually having a long cycle, Im pretty sure I ovulated on Sunday 2nd Nov, my luteal phase is usually 13 days, so far Im 15 days DPO, but I cant feel that AF is on her way and besides it would pretty much be a miracle as we havent BD'd at all without protection). Im just praying Sookie gets her sticky BFP next

Trudy I am sure its the appointment at the fertility clinic that does it I hate to admit it I am sure that once I got that through I sort of relaxed and got on with life a little instead of obsessing about being pregnant so perhaps that old wifes tale is right???!!!

I had pains all the way through to about 16 weeks, I did suffer with terrible constipation at first until I discovered plums I would eat 4 or 5 a day and they worked a treat, I also upped my water intake and that seemed to sort me out. Ironically when the pains stopped I was really worried Its all to do with your uterus growing and the LO bedding in I think.

We managed to buy a Mamas and Papas pramette off ebay last night it is only 4 months old and we got it for £103 - we had been looking at them brand new and couldnt decided between that or the silvercross 3d as it was about £200 cheaper so I am really chuffed we have bagged ourself a bargin

Right off to do some work and will catch up with you all later.

I am on the last baby on the ticker! Never thought I'd get here when I was in ttc and was getting ticker envy!
Its scarily close now........next week I will be deemed full term!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I feel like I still have so much to do and get sorted out! I'm glad to be on mat leave now but it's hard to be motivated to get up in the mornings as I'd much rather laze in bed but I know I have things to do and get for my hospital bag etc so I must try harder!!
