Due in September

Going by my ov dates I'm not sure how it comes out I'm due the 3rd. I did try to tell them but they take the average measurement out off the 3 taken.
Lots more scan coming up. Il be getting the quad test now at 15weeks so back to them at 15 weeks for that and then to also see my consultant.

Whats a quad test? xx

Congratulations @TTC no2! So pleased that all was well at your scan, gives me such hope!

Still feeling pretty sick, dry crackers here @AmyThomas and rich tea biscuits! Extremely tired, actually got in bed with my 3 year old at half 7 last night and asked hubby to move him to his room when he came in from work. Didn’t even have the energy for reading to him!

Thanks girls <3
Now cant wait to see more September babies.<3

Quadruple test is mostly used for testing for Downs but as its looks at the proteins it can also indicate if spina bifida is present. (Which was the abnormality found in my first born, she had severe case)
I will get it done at 15 weeks x

@VictoriaNi what's ur due date I can add it to the front page. Think I've got everyone else. Let me know if I missed anyone

Yay loving the scan TTC! So exciting that everyone is going to start getting theirs now! Two weeks for me but time has definitely started speeding up.

I had to take a load of junk to the dump today and think I must have overdone it a bit as my back is now aching low down. Still working away on trying to organise my kitchen ever being done. Even the ‘cheap’ option of buying online and getting someone to fit it has turned out to be far more than we had thought it would be so I think I’m going to need to project manage the whole thing myself. Just what you need when you’re pregnant :rotfl:

Ooh Rose. Honestly i really hate all that kind off stuff.
Have u picked any colours uz want.
We have grey shakers kitchen with a navy island. I found it hard to even pick the colour never mind do anything else.
We have still loads more to do for finishing touches. Need a nice light to go our table and tv for wall.

well my husband is colour blind which is quite helpful because it means he doesn’t really care that much, I mean he can tell colours apart but to him they look like different colours eg he could pick mint green and think it was St Patrick’s green. So anyway I think we have settled on DIY Kitchens’ Dove Grey. I didn’t really want a light grey kitchen originally but I’ve realised that the darker greeny greys I liked would just make the room too dark.

I’m just sitting awaiting the arrival of a structural engineer to approve us knocking down a non load bearing wall. That’s the excitement for my day

woke up in the night and my pee smelt normal and it has smelt disgusting ever since I got my BFP so instantly I panicked and decided something was wrong. However the nausea is back with a vengeance this morning so I think I’m fine :rotfl:

Hope ur app goes well char.

Ahh no rose... I feel so lucky some off uz are suffering.

Happy 12w TTC and char. I'm so jealous. It's crazy how a month can seem soooooooo long. Hope the appt goes well char.

I seem to be able to eat now, provided its something small and fairly bland. And not a 'hot meal'. So hubby is having to fend for himself (so of course he picked up a pizza last night).
The problem now seems to be moving. Lying on the sofa or in bed is ok, and while I feel a bit nauseous it's manageable. But when I get up and try and do anything it's horrible. Showering , washing up , walking to the loo . I'm pretty sure my hubby is going to think I'm taking the piss :rotfl:

I know exactly what you mean, I get that in the night, if I get up for one of the children as soon as I move a wave of nausea comes over me and on a bad day it’s like that in the morning. I’m definitely over the worst of it though, honestly from weeks 7 to 9 I felt horrendous.

Booking in appointment went really well yesterday.
There was a student nurse in with my midwife and she asked if I would be her case study so she will basically be with me every step of the way and even there when I give birth. So she will get to meet the baby too. How cute and lovely is that. She was a couple of years younger than me I would say so will be so nice to have someone to chat to if I ever need it <3
Now 4 sleeps until my scan, really getting nervous about it but am staying positive!!

How are we all ladies?!

@AmyThomas sorry your feeling so rubbish. You will start to get better. I had my first vegetable last night since I found out I was pregnant. Hopefully it’s not long before your back on proper food. Xx

That is lovely. I would love that.. my dream job would be a MW. I was training to be a nurse hoping to specialize in midwifery but I absolutely hated time spent in university. I felt so alone. Uni wasnt for me.

Countdown in on for scans.

@Hazel91_ I hope u are doing ok. Havent seen u on in abit.

Girls!! I just bumped a footstool in work off a table and it bounced right into my pelvis on right side. Freaking out hope baby is ok.:(
