Finally doctors have confirmed it and I have my first booking in appointment with the midwife on 18th July at 2.35pm! In which time I'll be 9 weeks! Things have changed since 5 years ago..the notes have got a lot more snazzy!..and I certainly can't remember booking in so late before! :/

Have a mega craving for coca cola with ice, and asdas fajita pasta salad!

My niece arrived safely on Monday a week early weighing 8lb 9oz! My brother and SIL have named her Phoebe! She's a darling ..hoping I get lucky and have a girl

Ahh brilliant SM, im just waiting for a call back appointment from my gp, we have to do everything over the phone! Anyhow its easier. I've no cravings yet. I dont mind boy or girl really as its our first between us.
Wednesday yes I know what you mean, I haven't really felt sick yet but cant actually wait to feel sick!! I can handle that because its reassuring xx
The spotting has gone but to reassure myself I got a couple more tests, so pleased to see the lines are good for 15 dpo.

Enjoy the lack of symptoms ladies!! I get what you mean though! I had dreadful sickness with my 1st no symptoms with my second and sickness on and off with my third I'm thankful nothing much this time round.

Has everyone made contact with their midwife/GP depending on how it's done in your area?

I've told my kiddies and they are over the moon! I'm really looking forward to the next few months as they watch me grow and interact with my bump when that time comes! Also told my dad and his mrs on Father's Day both are thrilled which is nice as I was expecting some comments considering this is baby number 4!

More chocolate I hope your symptoms ease quicker than 10eeeks and hopefully it's not replaced by back ache!

I went to my GP on Monday to inform her of my pregnancy and she checked my blood pressure and weight. She advised that the Midwifery clinic will be in contact within a few weeks for my first scan.

Does anyone know how long they usually take?

I am feeling so sick it is miserable! And I've done something gross... I've ordered myself donner meat and chips! I haven't had that since I was drunk and 18!

It's funny because when I don't feel sick I start worrying about having no symptoms... can't win! Xx

Torino, I've been havin serious munchies too. I lost a few pounds before pregnancy incase this would happen but I am sure I've put on double the amount I lost already and I'm only 7 weeks 3 days! This doesn't bode well!

haha I feel reassured for the moment.

Have you checked your weight? I *feel* fat but I havent actually gained anything.

I did a online self referral for the midwife and i had a phone call back within a week to confirm my booking in appointment. It is next Tuesday and i will then be 7 weeks 2 days.
I also have received my 12 week scan in the post which is the end of July.
Seems so far away

Think I'll be joining you ladies. I think my EDD is 24 Feb and I think I'm about 4+6 But by past experience that will all change on scan day.

I had my first midwife appt today, just waiting for an appt for my booking which will come from the hospital! Still got all the nausea, and I'm having to constantly eat!

Boss finally knows I'm pregnant! I grew my lady balls today and told her ..her first words were "lovely..congratulations...ahhh!!" followed by a very tight hug!..i have been instructed to try and take it easy and management will be informed too

Told mine today too. He just said congratulations and that was the end of it. Quick and easy

Decided today that I'm going to refuse to worry about early miscarriage and chemicals. If I'm doing the right things and it happens it is what it is right? Time to start enjoying the next 8 months

wow 3 newbies since I last checked.... huge congratulations to you all!

I had my GP appointment this morning and as predicted it was pointless. She just asked how I was, checked I wasn't on any medication or had any concerns and then sent me back to reception to bask them to book in to see MW. I actually asked her if I should've gone straight to MW but she said they like to do a referral to build rapport with the mum and so that they can help them with any issues that arise during pregnancy. Didn't even take my blood pressure! All reception said is that they will call MW who will call me around 8 weeks to book in an initial appointment for bloods etc and then a scan. So I have another 2 weeks or so to wait again..... haha I guess I will continue to hardly believe i'm pregnant

The waiting is crazy isn't it. I Called my GP to be given the number to call and self refer. I called and the automated system gave me a web address. I filled a form on there and now I'll hear from a midwife "in due course".

I have medical issues that require extra care in early pregnancy. So back to the docs I go I guess.

Its like they want to see if we have the patience we're going to need later

Congratulations to all the newbies!! Im still feeling a bit like 'am I really pregnant?'. Waiting for early scan date.
Worrying all the bladdy time!!
Went back to look at my Digi positive and the battery must have died as the screen had gone blank. Blah.
Did two more positive tests yesterday but need a CB weeks one now, scared incase its a 'not pregnant'.
Pfft get me to a 12 week scan already!

Digi's only display the result for 24h. You can crack them open and there is an actual test with a line inside (I may have done this before lol)

I sent my self referal on 8th June so need to chase it up as I'm 8w on Monday.
