At the moment we've only used Dentinox gel, she's fine on that so far! xx

Hi ladies, how is everyone doing?

I'm just wondering if anyone else is experiencing post partum hair loss? I've got long hair which I suppose makes the loss look worse but I'm shedding loads of hair every time I brush or wash it. I've not lost clumps it's a general thinning all over. I did have a fairly thick fringe, but now I pin it back as you can see through it :-(

Hi girls
Hope everyone is well.
Well we have hit the 4 month sleep regression ... I am shattered.
I havnt slept any more than 2 hours at a time for the last 8 nights. Last night I got 1 hour before getting up for 5 hours (11-4am) yawn .. Then I got 5 - 6.40 !! With a husband working long hours and a 2 year old I am so tired xx

Yes! My hair has always been long and thick and a few weeks back its started falling out - a lot. I've noticed it thinning I'm one particular area I don't know what to take for it.

Ours hit a few weeks shy of four months, my babies turned 5 months old and still ongoing, literally was waking every 20 minutes or so at times. The past two nights they have only woke around 3/4 times which is a huge improvement. I don't know if that's to do with the fact I have started weaning them now.

Yup hair loss here too...really bad. I got my hair chopped to see if it helped but so far nothing. I've started on a caffeine shampoo this week which is supposed to help.

Anyone else's babies rolling over in their sleep. Mine started last night and has me all worried as he can't roll back yet.

yup hair loss here too, i think i'm filling my hairbrush daily but not noticed it on my head yet, mainly because i have a lot of hair

i take it back it is noticeable! when putting my hair in a ponytail i'm sure there's only half as much hair as there was before :O babycentre says it should be back to normal between 6-12 months ... lets hope its not 12 months!

I've not experienced any hair loss but jack has a very fetching bald patch! Hoping that will improve now he is sitting up on his own (still wobbly though). Poor sod can't figure out the rolling over though - although he is trying so hard.

Think we have a coldy baby here - he has been so moody especially in the evenings & massively fighting sleep!

How is weaning going? We have been holding off as long as possible but thinking I'll start next week. What method is everyone doing? Puree? Pre-made? Baby led? Xx

Hi girls,
Think we are threw the worst sleep. She has slept through the last 3 nights, never has before so I'm hoping it lasts. She is teething, I forgot how bad teething poo's were. Poor baby's bum is sore and was bleeding the other day. I can see a tiny white dot on her gum so it's on it's way, funny enough the same time as my 2yo bad molar, but they both wear Amber and I truly believe it makes a difference. She is 5 month on Tuesday - I'm holding off on weaning for as long as possible. Iv got enough going on in my life atm and I don't want to add to my workload. She's defo not ready for it either, tbh she isn't really fussed about milk either, the only bottle she enjoys is her bedtime bottle, she's too nosey during the day and is happy after 3oz

We started with home made carrot purée last week. I've got the Annabel Karmel book and I'm following that. At the mo as soon as she sees a spoon she pulls a face! As soon as I've found my ice cube trays I'm going to make some apple / pear purée. xx

We had to start cormac early with spoon-feed as he was a premie and under advise of dietician. We started with puree foods but now his hand coordination is better he is moving to finger foods and can (with a mess) manage the spoon to his mouth. Still only getting breakfast which is usually porridge and fruit and dinner is normally what we have. Have him still on small portions an egg cup size.
6 months today. Can't believe where the time is going.

Hi guys
Been ages since updated as my laptop broke and I hate typing on my phone but have been checking in on you all
My Zaynab will be 5 months next week and tbh we've had a bit of a nightmare time since she was 7 weeks old
She's been extremely unsettled very windy and colicky and pretty much crying most of the day we tried pretty much everything - everyone was like she's breastfed she shouldn't be so colicky
First everyone was like it'll settle by 3 months then 4 months lol
Then we finally got ranitidine about 3 weeks ago as I suspected silent reflux and initially I wasn't sure it had worked- gp only gave enough for 3 days at first as it's super expensive to NHS at that dose and Zaynab big for her age- nearly 98th centile for her weight- but I managed to get more but she only had a week and half worth altogether
However after that course the week and a half after she has been a different baby- smiling, happy actually laughing for once
Plus she would never let us put her on her tummy but suddenly she was happy lying that way so an obvious difference, no more explosive poos etc

I wasn't sure if it was ranitidine or whether she'd just grown up but now last 3 days we are back to square one again so I've realised it must have been that that worked
So going on Monday to get more hopefully

Not started weaning yet although she's teething badly so grandparents keep giving her fruit to suck on

She's not rolling yet which I suspect is related to her discomfort she's been in
Plus has bad eczema too which suddenly flare up which makes me wonder whether she might have a food allergy she's constantly scratching

Really hope ranitidine works

Hi all how is everyone doing? Jack is 5.5 months now - sitting up on his own, knows how to roll over but is lazy and won't do it and is babbling away like crazy. We moved him into his own room to give him more space and it seems sleeping through the night is just not going to happen for us. He is awake about every 2 hours now - I hope this is just another regression and we will get back to normal soon.

Goodness it's quiet on here at mo!
Sorry to hear Jack isn't sleeping well, although my youngest is sleeping well those nights when doesn't are hell!

Teething is also hell it always seems there is no end! Any tips?

Time seems to be flying by so fast, I just want to freeze it.

Is anyone back to work soon, I have 5 months yet but it is going so fast

Hi ladies! My 7lb 11oz bundle is 6 months old today! It has gone too quickly! He is being a miserable little rat bag at the minute & his bum is so sore - his teeth still haven't popped out so praying that happens soon!

We started weaning last week, started with baby rice but wasn't popular. Moved on to carrot puree & he has pea puree this week. He seems to be enjoying the pea more than carrot so far.

He has moved into his cot as he was maxing out his crib. He is still in our room though, I couldn't bear to put him in his own room yet!

Do any of you ladies think having a baby has changed your relationship with your other half?

We are taking food now for a while under the advise of his dietician with him being a prem. It's going well. He likes to try to feed himself. And starting to take things into his hands like toast and fruit.
Relationshipstatus do shift when a baby comes. Is this your 1st?
It's hard for everyone to find their new roles within this new family. And that's the same as each child comes along. We still haven't got back to a regular sex life and this is our 3rd. 2 older so not like we have our hands full. But the new dimension is good too if both work at it. Hope you're okay?

Hi everyone

Hope everyone is well! My two are doing good, they are six months old in 4 days, where has the time gone? We have been weaning for a few weeks, we currently have porridge in the morning and then something at dinner time before the last bottle. They go down around 7 and sleep, usually until 7-8, although still up a good few times during the night giving them dummies :wall2::wall2:

This week we got new jumparoos lol they seem to like them. Apart from that we are getting prepared for a house move in a couple of weeks, can't wait :oooo::oooo:

My little Anthony having some fun

Yeah fine, just finding it hard sometimes. It is our first & we bicker more now than we ever have before. We do keep saying it's because we need to adjust to a massive change in our lives & I am generally fine. i do feel like he underestimates how much work it is to look after a baby all day. To him he sees me staying at home watching TV or going out & having fun at baby groups. He doesn't see when my lo is throwing a wobbler & nothing will settle him, or when I have to try maintain a house & deal with all house based stuff whilst entertaining a 6 month old. I think it can be lonely being a SAHM even with friends & going to groups. You lose a bit of yourself in a way. I wouldn't change it for the world but just wish I felt a bit more appreciated at times! Ahh that's my rant over haha!
