Congratulations Rose! I'm getting so impatient! I want to know!! How is everyone getting on with choosing names? X

I think were done with names but I'm too superstitious to even utter it to anyone but hubby!

When do you find out nikb?x

Not finding out until 31st. I'll be almost 21 weeks by then.

What is the superstition about telling names? X

 

[Goat]

Just my own personal worry that if anyone else knows the name something will go wrong. It's not a known superstition. Just me being a paranoid nutcase!!

The 31st will come by in no time!!

I'm not superstitious about saying names but me and OH aren't telling anyone else because we really don't want people to give us their opinions on them - we both have families that will just make comments that aren't wanted! X

Well we have picked Barry for a boy after OHs best friend who died in a car crash years ago. And Alix for a girl after my grandad. The middle names will be our dad's names for a boy and mums names for a girl.

I'm just still so excited. I can't get past the excitement lol x

I was superstitious before the scan but now I'm brave enough to share... online only! Told my brother our boy's middle name as it'll surprise no one being my late father-in-law's. I agree with not getting opinions, some people just can't help themselves!

So far our girl is Amelie Dorothy (Dorothy was my maternal grandma's name, I never met her but she was the most spirited, eccentric and awesomely strong woman)

And... well, it's complicated. Just tonight (thanks to TaffyRose1 in the baby naming section) I've fallen for Evan David. Just have to convince OH that just because his mum has been (sneakily) pushing it doesn't mean it's a no... wish me luck!

My first baby was 10lb 2. But was c section as he was breech. Just as well. I had no idea he was going to be soo big but found out with this one that the hospital knew he was going to be big. Think I will be asking questions this time round!!!!!

Random question about dates, my midwife at my 8 week app put my date as 15th Dec due to LMP and roughly 30 day cycles my 12 week scan date shows 13th December forgot to mention it to midwife and know its only 2 days but what date do you think I should work on???

My opk and conception dates all roll with 22nd or later so I was surprised to be put back (forward?) to the 18th (baby must be growing a little ahead and all this talk of big babies with big heads, eeek!) so while I say our official due date is the 18th and I count my weeks on that date, any decisions such as inducing I'm going to base off the 22nd. What does your gut tell you, Lhop?

I have no idea I didn't do OPK the month we conceived and was out of the country when I thought ovulation was so we don't know if we conceived before or after!!!!

It's mainly for induction etc I feel like I want to know in my head I would prefer the 13th I think as would LOVE baby to be here before Christmas!!!! And that would effect sweeps etx too!
Guess il wait and see what my 20 week scan says???

Congratulations Rose - I knew it was a girl for you! I'm getting impatient with the waiting now and wish we'd booked an early scan but it's such a trip for us - 140 mile trip! I want to start buying a few things, choose pram, start thinking about nursery decor ...

Thanks for all the Doppler advice - i think I am having more success now, and the sonographer said my placenta is on top so in the way for the Doppler.

Happy 17 weeks nikb! I found that since 16 weeks this pregnancy seems to be going so fast. Must be because Im back at work now. Hope you have a good day chick!

Happy 1st Birthday Harrison!! Time just goes too quickly. My daughter's first birthday seemed like yesterday and she's already 17 months, madness!
