****December 2014 mums to be! Christmas babies!!*****

Have a lovely weekend JaiandLeigh. I have to work tomorrow morning :(

I had a dream last night about being in hospital and having the baby. Turned out to be a not so little girl at 10lb 9oz
I woke up in a sweat ha ha

Hope everyone has a good day x

lol nikb! They often say dreams bring out our fears!
I was a 10lb baby when I was born. I was 10 days overdue. My daughter was 2 weeks early and weighed 8lb 2oz. I hate to think what she would've been had she also gone over by 10 days!

I think it made me realise my fears ha ha. OH was over 10lb when he was born. Only time will tell lol

A girl I went to school with just have birth to one 10lbs 15! I do not want that happening!

Sooo excited as I have my gender scan this afternoon at half 3!!! Hope baby behaves for it! X

Gosh 10lb 15oz?! That is like double what Harrison was born haha! That was bloody hard work as it was lol x

Hi vixx. :)
Well im 16 +1 I tjink and thought id been feeling kicks for a week or two but now know for suure I am. Its getting stronger and had it loads today.

Thanks Wifeywifey, Im waiting (not so) patiently for the movements just so I know all is ok!! :) xx

and Vixx I'm due 27th November, originally it was the 4th December but i was put forward and decided to stay with the December mummies, that's probably why it seems there is such a big gap!

Thanks for adding me! My 20 week scan date is 15th August.

My dates were changed too, I was a Jan 2015 mum to be, was i was orignally due 6th Jan, not its moved to 29th Dec! :) xx

Good luck for you gender scan today, Im really envy you! cant wait to have mine done x

Ouchie, a 10lb'er sounds painful! apparantly my OH was almost 10lb when he was born, so it seems like it could be a big baby for me!!!!x

My worry is that my OH's side of the family all have big heads, their whole skull seems to be larger than average and I don't fancy pushing one of them out! Hoping it inherits my skull :)

Another little vomit for me this morning - seems to be happening regularly every other day at the moment and I can tell as soon as I wake up whether it's going to be a day where I do or not. As soon as I'm sick I feel fine afterwards though and actually better, like I've got rid of something my body wasn't happy with - which is silly when all that's in there is stomach acid and a bit of water maybe x

Good luck for your scan Rose xx

Exciting news about the gender scan Rose... good luck.... I too suffered with morning sickness till 17 weeks so fingers crossed it will pass soon. It does get better, promise. xxx

Oh I'm a completely outdoors person. Nothing like being in the beautiful countryside, especially where we live in Wales. When we go abroad on holiday, we are always so appreciative of it when we arrive back home.

I saw the midwife in my GP surgery and she had a student midwife with her so I guess she wanted to practice with the doppler on me. She found it straight away and not in the usual position I have to use when I use my not-so-good doppler. The midwife explained to me that I shouldn't panic if they don't pick up a heart beat and if this was to happen as routine they would send me for a scan ASAP. Luckily heart beat was loud and clear :)

I'm cot bed hunting at the moment. I'm after a nice oak one but OMG they are £800 in Mamas & Papas!!! Hunting for second hand one. It may even be better for us to get one made.

This whole baby business is like the wedding business - over priced!!!

Cariad, the advice my mum gave me about cots was don't go all out on cost or worry about if it can go upto when the baby is 4 etc. She said when they are moved into a normal bed she recommended going straight to a single bed rather than a toddler bed as it's a big money save and the height difference isn't that big.
We got a sturdy cot bed from John Lewis for £99 and so far it's doing the trick. Im not going to turn it into a bed until she's about 20ish months then when this baby needs it I'll get my daughter a single bed.
Just thought I'd share in case you liked the sound of that thought process! I can't yet comment if it's worked for us or not though!

Goodluck Rose! I predict girl!x
