****December 2014 mums to be! Christmas babies!!*****

Hello, ladies. Had my scan today, all looking good and i am 12+6 which puts me forward 3 days and means i am due 23rd December. The baba was extremely active, the sonographer was giggling away. At some point it went like a little lamb, ramming head into the sack repeatedly, sommersaulting and all sorts lol

Great scan picture. My little one was sleeping and had to be woken up at my scan ha ha. Then wouldn't stay still just to cause trouble lol xx

Baby perfect! So exhausted, still telling people and Skype'ing, but wanted to let you all know everything went brilliantly. Our scan was so clear but our picture looks like two potatoes, lol! Oh, and date moved to the 18th December so 13+4.

My favourite moment was telling my brother and his wife:
Me: "So we've just gotten back from the hospital."
Them: "What's wrong?"
Me: "Nothing Auntie and Uncle... thought you might like to see this." *holds up photo*

Such a lovely moment.

my DS1 was very active and is still the same. He was very strong, too so i felt bruised from the inside by the end of pregnancy

Sorry to hear not everyone is well, i felt horrendous today,too. Thought the sickness was gone but no. I am off sweets atm, its savoury and salty atm

Lovely scan picture knopk and congrats sparkle on your successful scan too. I loved mine soooo much. It's amazing seeing the little bubba.

I told my class that I am pregnant. I teach reception and when we are in the playground, they use me as 'base' when they play tig. Anyway, they kept running into my stomach full pelt so I felt it was time! I told a couple of them and it spread like wildfire. Unfortunately, when we talked about it during a lesson, they wanted to know ALL about the facts of life. It was very funny / awkward! They kept asking how the baby got in my tummy and how it comes out. I told them to ask their parents! Eventually, one little boy said "don't worry guys, my dad knows everything, il ask him tonight and let you all know tomorrow!" I couldn't help but giggle. I expect there may have been a few funny conversations at home tonight with the kids! I'm going to try and find some age appropriate books to read to them!

Well I had the most uncomfortable night last night and hardly slept. I'm not so sore in my ribs today but I feel very uncomfortable and squished. Hope you are all well x

I'm feeling much better too. This weather is just so lovely and a good source of natural vitamin D for us all

I tend to feel uncomfortable in the evenings and just want to stretch everything out. My tummy seems to go massive in the evenings after dinner.

I'm eatting warm Welsh cakes and they are divine!

Hey ladies,

When is everyone (or has anyone already) having their second midwife apointment? And how often at they? I'm expecting my first baby, and I have my second Midwife apointment tomorrow morning but I'll only be 14+5 - is this normal to have a second appointment so early on? What kind of things happen in this apointment - I can't think of anything I need to know or want to ask xx
