Hello everyone

just wondered what your all planning for your babies coming home outfits?
I cant decide what sort of thing will be best, espeacially for the middle of july?

so come on give me some inspiration :)

Oh bugger uve got me started now ill be rifling through her wardrobe tomorrow trying to find something suitable!x

lol sorry

i was in town earlier and saw some really cute little outfits that were very tempting, but i think the problem is I dont really know what sort of thing is appropriate for a new baby to be wearing lol

Iv got my little one a hungry caterpillar top and trousers (with cardigan optional) So I can put the cardi on if she is cold, and take it off if too hot! xx

Aw my little man will be in rompers for a while, i think theyre just so cute and you cant go wrong with them! x

He's got a little pair of trousers and a hoodie vest too. I've also packed a t-shirt saying I'm the little brother on it so he may wear that with his trousers. I've bought him a coat too because I can't predict how cold it's going to be.

I can't wait to see him in his clothes they look so tiny!

I've got the baby taz top and trousers from asda, with a little fleecy blue hoody with ears on, should be okay with the weather :)

Think I'm taking a white vest saying 'Mummys New Man' and a pair of light blue trackies to put over it, taking a little hooded cardigan too and a pair of booties :)

I love rompers too Cherelle!! Can't get enough of them :)

x

I'm with Cherelle - sleep/romper suits for my baby only for the first two weeks (on the advice of the midwives). They said anythign else hurts their bellybutton until the rest of the cord falls off, yuck!

My little man will be wearing a grey and white striped Humphrey's Corner romper with a vest, hat & socks. I'll take a blanket too but we're literally round the corner from hospital so doubt we'll need it! :) x

My mum has given me the dress she brought me home in for if we have a girl & for a boy I've bought the Mamas & Papas Gingerbread romper suit. Got lots of plain rompers & vests too. When Joseph was born it was such a hot June that he slept just in a nappy, so lots of his clothes were barely worn. Can't believe where the time is going - birthdays will be here so soon for us all!!!

Ive got 3 outfits packed as i couldnt decide, they all kind od mix and match as theyre all grey humpreys corner so i guess ill decide on the day. Theyre all soft either sleepsuits with lil cardy and trouser etc...

I love babys in sleepsuits they always look more comfy :D

Arnt rompers the short legged ones like with no feet? and then sleepsuits are the ones with built in feet etc ??

i am keeping baby in all in ones for about 2 - 3 months. i havent bought any clothes for newborn at all. have a couple of bits been bought by other people but i love babies in rompers and gors for aslong as possible. also got alot of vests incase its really warm.

as for coming home outfit think oh has decided it will be a liverpool romper. xxx

i have a cute little romper that says tough like daddy on it from next, its one with short legs, so i guess that would work well if it is hot :)

i think I will end up packing a little selection of things so i can decide based onthe weather....who knows by july it could be snowing lol

I've got a little pink and flowery all in one packed for taking her home in. It's so cute :) I also have a pramsuit but If the weather continues she won't get to wear it.

I don't know yet...everyone should upload pics of the outfits :D i like seeing pics lol xxx

I have a selection of babygros (with and without feet) ready packed.. and I guess it'll just be whichever one is still clean! They're all cute Disney shop ones so I'm really not fussed which one he wears home :D

Hehehe.. Bumps bag is all packed with Disney/Next kinda stuff.. and mine is full of Primark pants and pjs! Guess that's the way it'll be for the next 18 years or so :p xx
