Jj sorry to hear ur news :( enjoy ur break x

Louise - what fatty foods are u eating ? I have had to increase BMi and eating everything I can :) not a food lover myself so struggling . Also did u continue taking pregnacare as I was told to at starter appointment to carry on folic acid then I wasn't sure if I should have carried on or stopped on suprecur. This ivf journey is so scary.

I was told to keep going with the folic acid throughout

Yeah, folic acid throughout like Scotch said :)

Things that I'm trying to have is full fat milk, full fat yogurt, lots of granola with high and varied nut content, whole nuts, avocado, etc.

I just stick it all into a morning smoothie and I'm set for the day, but you could have as much as you wanted. A smoothie with every meal ;)

In my regular smoothie I have 1/2 avocado, but you could have as much as you wanted because they're pure monosaturates which are very good for you, then I have half a banana and then a huge blob of full fat Greek yogurt and then a teaspoon or two of vanilla *extract* and then some macadamia nuts and top with milk to give it fluidity.

It's really nice and like I said if you go ott with the avocado and nuts, it'll be fab for your BMI and general health and fertility.

Less so with the milk and yogurt because of the saturated fat content, but still you could have loads :)

Have everything with a dose of monosaturates and it'll do you a world of good. Hummus, olives, olive oil, oily fish - get stuck in ;)

I am really sorry JJ :hugs: hope you have a lovely holiday with your family and fingers crossed for your frozen cycle xxxx

Thanks Louise ! U really are a fountain of knowledge. I have been taking it but just wanted to check I should. Will be trying some of ur ideas too sound lovely . I eat alot of humous etc so should be ok

I was panicking about going away and being on suprecur . I have decided to put the suprecur in my hand luggage and the needles in my suitcase. Worse case senario suitcase gets lost I'm sure I pharmacist will sell me some. Just don't want to risk suprecur . Bottles are small so should be ok.

I'd stick everything in your hand luggage, then you can answer any questions that security have.

My hubby travels with diabetic needles all the time and not even a twitch from security.

I think it's better than them detecting them in your suitcase and having to pull everything apart because they can't ask you about their use xx

Sorry it wasn't good news for you JJ :hugs: hope you enjoy your holiday.

GGirl, put all meds including needles in your hand luggage. You really shouldnt have any problems, I travel with alot of medication including needles and always put everything in hand luggage and have never had any trouble, no one has ever stopped and asked me any questions

AF finally arrived yesterday and now I can start to move on from the disappointing outcome, at least that's how I feel for now. Hopefully it won't completely mess my cycles up and it's back to trying the normal way for a while ;) and seeing what the Dr has to say at our follow up.

Thanks all ! U are all so helpful. I think I will put it in hand luggage and hope for the best. Like u say all they can do us ask.
Tinkerbell glad u are feeling positive , think we have to be On This journey .

Morning ladies , thanks for all my good luck wishes -

I'm afraid I'm also unlucky in the ivf lotto and it's a BFN:bfn:

I had expected it since 5 or 6 days after transfer and I started lightly bleeding/spotting on wiping last night with browny/pinky blood so that was a big clue too, but it's still a big slap round the chops with a wet kipper, but not as bad as my mini meltdown last week, think I did my upset bit then for the cycle result, just feel a little numb, if not lighter in the shoulders! actually.

Well as I don't need to do my cylogest pessaries now today, my low mood should lift and I will be able to have a lovely holiday in cornwall , I have to finish ironing/ packing, picnic and we leave about 10/11am hopefully.

My future plans now include finishing the diy, (I left all the stuff in the kitchen when I stopped for EC/ET as I felt nothing preg related after), as I knew I could quickly get back on it after holiday, were nearly on the home run now.

I am going to get more in shape, I'm slim and 9.5 stone, but getting a little out of shape, I was much fitter when preg before, so worth a try and will make me feel good.

And I will be only spending with cash, we really need to rein in spending esp food shopping, and try to pay back some of this money we now owe, or at least try to find the £700 for a FET for maybee sept /oct onwards , it's up to me to find it , and the harder I work on it, the quicker we can try this option.

I'm sure all ivf cycles won't end the way Tinks and mine have
So hang in Scotch Egg, Greak Girl , Rea, Penny and GizzyKelly
We have been very lucky on the odds in lttc for a while now , so I guess we will havesome negs - wishing you all fantastic luck for your cycles -

Scotch good luck for your FET, yourll be in the 2WW with your babies when I come back! Lou , you will be starting treatment too. Keep going GG and rea. And I hope your IVF can start soon Penny and Gizzy.

:dust::dust::dust::dust::dust:

Rubbish news JJ xx delivered with such a positive spin... sorry it wasn't to be for you this time. Like the other girls have said -- hope you are having a lovely holiday and the money comes together for the FET. Big hug x

Hiya Rea, how was the break? How are the stims going xx

Hi JJ this is a bit late, but I'm sorry it wasn't good news.
You seem so calm, and have great strength.
Have an amazing holiday honey and when you get back start thinking about the next step.
Lots of love xxx

Lovely thanks Lou :) weather was amazing (and still is down here!) I'm symptom-less at the moment... not sure if I'm supposed to be feeling something yet as have has 3 injections now... but I'm aware that they deliberately put me on low dose to start with (112.5) I've got my first scan and bloods on Monday so will see how things are going inside! I'm a bit of a bruised pin cushion at the moment though!? Seems to have gotten worse over the past few days, maybe my stomach's rejecting the constant jabbing!? I like the sound of your smoothies -- I've been smoothying too! But hadn't thought of putting avocado in - nice touch! Not long now till you start Micro hey. I had last pill on the Tues and my period came on the Thurs so hopefully yours will come in speedily too. Nearly August :)

I'm glad you had a nice time :good:

Thanks for that info about the micro, I've been trying to research how long takes to get a bleed because that is the real sticking point with arranging the accommodation for the treatment.

All the clinic will tell me is "within 7 days" as if I'm supposed to book another week in a cottage just in case

If I bleed the next day then I won't be in Belgium for a follicle scan until stim day 10, if I bleed 7 days later then I will have to find somewhere to sleep for a couple of days longer than I've booked for if we get any blasts. Stress!

I've got so much to do and starting to panic. I need some dog holiday tags and reflective harnesses and I'm wondering if I should get them some muzzles even though they don't bark, just to tick it off the list of possible thing to go wrong.

Then I need to book the ferry and pack sort out my wardrobe and make sure all my forms are filled and omg - stress!!!

that's a pain lou, although we never can tell how our bodies will react to anything

In 4 days my babies will be in my tummy again :)

Aye I know, Wednesday is in my IVF calendar Scotch :good:

It's crazy how much has happened since the start of the thread and how close the next installments are

I'm glad to be of a little help :) hopefully your AF will swoop in as quickly as mine did :)
I can understand you being a bit stressed. I'd get the muzzles too so you know you're covered. Remind yourself that clothes-wise anything you don't have you'll get or do without so it'll be ok. And sort out your ferry and forms 'cause they're the things that have the potential to really cause a problem. Good luck getting it all sorted hun! If nothing else, you'll be distracted by the many 'jobs'!! ;)

4 days !! Yey to babies :)
Don't think I'll have wifi for the week away so have a good week all and hope to come bk to find out lovely news on all ur journeys x
