Christmas 2013 Thread!

I have Chezza. I went a few years ago when it first opened and it was a bit lame. I went again last year and it had vastly improved but its ridiculously pricey. I'd say its worth the money when lo is a bit older and can really get excited? Though I'm sure he'd still love all the lights and music now.

As for 40 days till Christmas, how did that happen?!?! This year has been the fastest year of my life!

Thanks Babybee! I've heard such mixed reports...maybe it would be better to wait until LO is a bit older?

I have no idea where this year has gone!! I'm back to work next week part time...thank god I have 3 weeks over Christmas lol!! xx

Wow, next week already?? It's nice you have the big Christmas holiday to ease you back into it. I'm back in early March and am dreading it!

Yep...I am only taking 7 months off as I don't want to drain our savings account. I wish I was able to take more time off, but financially, it makes more sense for me to go back part time...even though it feels so wrong at the moment!

Thanks so much for that Christmas Fair link...I'll have a good read of that now :) xxxxx

Ahh coming into my neck of the woods?!

I still have all of Jackson's , only because I was stuck on what to get him but now Ive decided. We are gna get some sort of ride on too - not sure what kind yet though, I change my mind aaall the time.

Yup I sure am! My best mate now lives in Edinburgh, and has decided to have his birthday night out in Glasgow, so thought I'd be as well doing a wee bit of shopping while I am down, seeing as we don't have a lot of shops where I am! I'm really looking forward to it. I haven't had a night out since June! Defo going to need to take it easy on the drinks! x

Right now the Birthday is out of the way I can crack on lol.

Got 5 pressies already for Crimbo and just ordered 4 books from Amazon.

Want to get him to big plastic cars as he loves his cousins. My sister is getting him a scuttlebug.

I am going to resist the temptation of PJ's (until the January sales at least!)

The German Market is in Glasgow town centre atm, lovely little stalls - but all in all Glasgow centre is quite good.

I'm hoping to do most online this year with minimal shopping trips LOL

Enjoy Scotland, nightlife in glasgow can be good, but wicked LOL so yes, take it easy

I live in a tiny town. Half the shops in the high street are closed down and the ones that ain't are either charity shops or outdoor shops. We have like 1 clothes shop! x

ITS MA SANTA!!

Im sure he will love it. I was online getting deocations last night getting all xmasy.

Have ordered some christmas bunting and some wooden tree decor, going all shabby chic this year.

xxxxxxxx

We have woken up to snow here this morning. Does this make it acceptable to put my tree up now? Lol x

We have got a book from the book people and it is full of decorations to make. My house will be FULL of paper chains and stars and angels. My husband will hate it (he likes minimal and classy), I will love it! ha ha. People around here already have their decorations up, I love christmas but that is way too early in my opinion. x

Tree will go up here on 14th December.

We'll go to my Mum's and do theirs with my sis, SIL and nephews and then we'll do ours that evening (and I get to open the Baileys lol)

xxxxxxxx

I'm not actually putting it up just now lol. Some people round my town have but I do mine on the 1sr December x

Just wrapping presents up and listening to the Home Alone soundtrack and having a cheeky glass of port whilst lo naps. Bliss!
Can't believe its advent next weekend and I'm putting up my tree! So excited!!!
