I've started making Christmas decorations eeeeppp! so excited! Is anyone else making alot of stuff? would love some more ideas, so far I have/have started on...

ribbon wreaths
ribbon tree stars
photo baubles of the small one
painted baubles
button baubles
shiny pine cones
I'm going to do salt dough Santa's and hand and foot prints of the small one this afternoon
paper clip card holders

Ribbon wreath? C'mon!!! Photos!!!! And then if I want to do it you MUST mentor. :)

this is the idea... I'll upload a pic when I'm done but I ran out of ribbon so it looks a bit shite atm! I would also recommend not using super glue as I'm now covered in the bloody stuff!

That's so nice! I seen a lassie on FB talking about making a rag wreath. I'm keen to see what it looks like when she's done.

I did attempt to use some jingle bells but I haven't got them back of ruby yet! and I've just ordered some stuff to make some Christmas tree mobiles as well, rag wreaths? that sounds interesting, and difficult!

I am in full on Birthday mode now, will start again with Crimbo from 18th November

xxxxxx

Just found a book of traditional fairy tale stories which I thought looked nice (Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella etc etc) so got it for xmas. Then when I looked closely I realised it's the same book I had as a little girl in the 80's!!! I remember I loved it, so hopefully S will love it as she grows too.

It was just a little market near me unfortunately! Its called Classic Treasury xxx

How have I only just found this thread, love Christmas but only have DS sorted as his birthday is the end of this month so got it all together, both DD's are a struggle this year as at 9&8 they have to many toys already lol... oh where is the santa grotto bit on the forum? Doesn't feel right not having it :(

Morning Ladies & Babies!

ONLY 40 DAYS TIL CHRISTMAS!!!

Very exciting :)

I have 3 more things to get and that's me done. Everything I have bought is wrapped and in a cupboard, ready to be shipped out when necessary.

Thinking about a trip to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park...anyone else been..? xxx

I have Chezza. I went a few years ago when it first opened and it was a bit lame. I went again last year and it had vastly improved but its ridiculously pricey. I'd say its worth the money when lo is a bit older and can really get excited? Though I'm sure he'd still love all the lights and music now.

As for 40 days till Christmas, how did that happen?!?! This year has been the fastest year of my life!

Thanks Babybee! I've heard such mixed reports...maybe it would be better to wait until LO is a bit older?

I have no idea where this year has gone!! I'm back to work next week part time...thank god I have 3 weeks over Christmas lol!! xx

All that's left to get is a ride on for Logan and a playhouse for Logan and Cas to share! Then its just wrapping to do! Oh and still to buy Xmas pjs and jumpers but will sort that when go to Glasgow in a few weeks. I am so excited now, even had a wee listen to my Michael Buble Christmas CD the other day haha. Me and Cassie have been collecting pine cones as we are going to try and make our own Xmas pot pourrie! X
