Morning all

Back to work today after a lovely weekend :shakehead:. Hope you all had a good weekdnd.

Rach - we want some snaps of your lovely twins, I'd love to see a snap of Christopher in his glasses too.

Lea - Long time no hear, hope your well, a load of us will be joining you soon in tri 3, ooh only a week to go :cheer:

Mik - Thanks for that advice about asking for Phoebe to be held back at nursery if they want to move her up a group. I'll def ask them to do that if they want to mvoe her up a class.

Had a really nice weekend, met with a friend and her daughter yesterday and for the first time her DD and mine were really playing with one another which was lovely to see they were having a right old laugh running up and down the corridor of the sports centre together, they were very funny to watch.

Not much news today. Hope everyone is well x

gosh ever had the feeling you were being bullied :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

right scanner is working after o/h played around with it for 2 hours last night he has scanned 2 photos into his pc and hes promised to scan the other 1 in this afternoon (we desperately need a new scanner :( ) so before he goes to work at 6 i promise you will all have the twin scan photos lol got to pick christophers glasses up 2moro after 1 o clock so no photos of him yet and by the time o/h takes a photo and gets it on here could be a few more days  (as you can probably tell im really thick and cant use anything including the digital camera  )

no other news off me still trying to get the house straight after all the shuffling round and decorating but im getting there slowly :( not easy when you have an 18 month old running round and your the size of a small house :rotfl:

bex glad you had a good time with your friend on the weekend xxx

hope everyone is well catch up more later the new computer room is really small and with 2 pcs in there its like an oven can only stay in here 5 mins and im sweating :puke: xxxxxx

Hi everyone!

Will try go back as far as I can....

rach - glad your scan went well....where are these pics!!! lol! :rotfl:

Bexie - glad you had a good weekend hun! My day meeting up with my friend didnt happen (no surprise there, shes not the most reliable!)

lea - good to hear from you!!! :D miss you loads hun.... 6 weeks for me until tri 3...aaarghh!

Mik - yay to you on getting crimbo pressies already! I'm so disorganised and should really do some shopping asap since I'll be the size of a house at xmas!

babydust - sorry to hear about your DDs teacher :( thats really sad ....

Gracie - hope you're feeling better hun   .....

kmac - good to see you hun

Weekends are getting shorter, I'm sure of it..... Monday already and back to work! :wall: Bit concerned that my belly just keeps growing....and growing, hasnt stopped since week 14. If it carries on like this I'll be the size of a house by 35 weeks  anyone know if this growing kinda stops or slows down at some point?!?!??
Went to see my parents on sunday (in between golf of course, as requested by OH  ),.... and both my mum and my auntie (who were there too) complimented me on how well I looked!! :D Unfortunately, my mum had made a gorgeous fruit cake and couldn't keep my hands off it at lunch....

Cannot get comfy in bed at the moment :( had restless nights since thursday. Each time I wake up I feel bubs kicking, so I dont know if I'm subconsiously waking to that!? Was hoping to get a pregnancy pillow out of lidl at the weekend but I dont think they are out until monday :wall: :wall: so going to try today...knowing my c**p store, they wont have any!

Hope everyone is getting a better nights sleep than me!!  xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

 afternoon ladies

been around all morning just really to tired to post or anything not sure what is up with me, maybe the thought of going away next week is just making me feel too tired so i dont have to go lol we are going to spend a week with OH's parents who havent seen us since just before we found out we were expecting lol that should be fun and games.

is there anything specific i should have with me like on the plane? i know a few websites have said always have a bottle of water with you but surely security will take it from me? and insect repellent? yes this was all under domestic flights i should have mosquito spray apparently we are going to flipping birmingham not the middle east!

Lisaspoon - Your right the weekends are just too quick, blink and you've missed it!! I'm the same I just seem to be getting bigger and bigger and it doesn't help that I've got a really sweet tooth!!

Sugarhigh - You should be able to buy a bottle of water once you are in the departure lounge and then take it on the flight with you. othersiwse I can't think of anything else you should take with you. If it's a domestic flight I'm assuming it only a short flight. Hope you have fun with the in-laws.

I've just had to nip into town to buy another pair of jeans. I don't normally wear jeans to work but already all my maternity clothes are getting uncomfy, the pair I wore today are the side panel maternity jeans and they were cutting into me so much that I had to buy another pair of jeans that go over my bump, they are so much more comfy! I don't know if it's because I had a c-section with my DD that it hurts so much with clothes that cut in or if other expectant mums get the same discomfort!!

Our payroll department got back to me this morning giving me the salary I would earn if I were to cut my days to 2.5 or 3 days per week, so me and OH will have to discuss this a bit more, but I can't see it being a problem, as long as work agree. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

I've got a long old day today, I started at 8.15 and will be finishing at 8ish as we are holding a freshers event this evening to welcome them all to the department. I'm going to be shattered this evening. :( Gonna miss not seeing my DD this evening as she will be asleep by the time I get home. :(

i have this problem with over bump trousers they feel like they are cutting bump in half and dont go anywhere near over it and its not even that big!

just a quickie girls hope your all ok the scan photos are on lol so no more nagging :rotfl: xxxxxxxx

Hi everyone

Hope you are all ok
Nice pics rach :)
Gracie - hope you are feeling better now

Bexie and Sugarhigh - I had to go up a size in maternity trews this weekend :( I had mothercare trousers with a fixed waistband then a big stretchy bit for over the bump. The bump bit was fine but the fixed bit was really digging in, so up a size I went... not happy about that!

 Can't remember what else i was going to say...

I am finding work really tough now girls. I am letting some pupils really stress me out - and the thing is they aren't even that bad iykwim, not the worst behaved or anything - they are just wasting time and I'm getting myself worked up trying to get the message across they need to concentrate :( And I know it's not worth stressing about and come Christmas it will be someone else's problem but it's really getting me down. I just feel like a stuck record.
Sorry for the moan but I wish I could afford to start mat leave right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bexie - I too have a sweet tooth.....doesnt help that my OH brings me home chocolate as well!!! :D

I too am struggling with my maternity jeans,..got the stretch panel ones, but I find the waste band digs in when sitting down etc... so much for stretchiness.. :wall: :wall:

Where did you get your over the bump ones from Bexie? I'm considering them since I'm getting bigger!

kmac - sorry work is rubbish   when do you start your mat leave?? I'm hoping to wrap up at xmas time!

managed to get a body pillow from lidl today (11.99) ...my effort to try and get a decent sleep! Will let you know if its comfy enough!! hehe!

my mum gave me a body pillow a few weeks ago - she already had one so said I could have it. I think it does make a difference.

Hi ladies!!
Yay Rach them boys are beautiful!!

Lisa Thats a great price for the body pillow!! I think theres a Lidl near me somewhere I think I might go see if I can get one!? I have one of them V shaped ones which is great and comfy but still need the wedge under my bump and a pillow between my legs haha a body pillow would be much more easier I think!! ;)

Kmac, Im sure I would have been stressed out being a teacher a lot sooner so you;ve done great and hope it doesnt get any worse!!

Bexie I want some over the bump jeans! You know with my other 3 I didnt buy one piece of maternity wear?? How the heck did I do that?!?!?!

Cant wait for you all to come over to tri 3!!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Morning all,

I got my jeans from Peacocks, we only have one shop in Aberystwyth that sells maternity clothes, can you beleive it!!!! They only cost £15 which is a bargain I can justify.

Kmac - sorry to hear your getting stressed at work, just try and take things a bit easier. It won't be that much longer now before you start your maternity leave

Rach - Your boys are lovely, good to see the pictures.

Babydust - Really sorry to hear about your sister in law, I really hope that by some kind of miracle everything will be ok for her.

Yesterday was a long day, I worked from 8am until 7pm, we held a freshers evening for all the new students. I was rushing around everywhere trying to organise everything and I had a bit of a funny turn. I was walking along the corridor and suddenly I went a bit dizzy and it was like some had chucked glitter in front of my eyes, I just had to stop what I was doing and stay still for a while. The last time this happened to me I was pregnant with my DD and by change I saw the midwife on the same day and my BP was sky high. I might give my midwife a call and see if they want to give me the once over. I'm feeling really tired today!

We watched Bruce PArry in the Amazon last night and that guy should have a goverment health warning attached to him. Oh my god!! At one point he took his top off, I really had to stop my jaw from dropping to the ground, he was so FIT, I even had to say to my OH how fit he was. I think I now have a bit of a crush on him, my god his body was lovely

Hope everyone has a good day

p.s. just phoned the maternity ward and they said my funny turn just sounded like a drop in blood pressure. Phew!!

I've just been onto e-bay and ordered one of these for the baby as a present from Phoebe for when they arrive. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ZEBRA-COW-comfort ... 286.c0.m14

I went for the zebra print with a turquoise background. I think they are so cute. Was unsure what colours to go for as we don't know the sex of the baby!!

I can remember when Phoebe was really small she was fascinated by labels and would play with them for ages, so thought this would be a good present for her to give the baby. :cheer:

I think we might buy a princess dressing up outfit for Phoebe from the baby when it arrives. She'll look so, so cute.

good luck for your SIL hun, I'll be thinking of her babydust

bexie - sorry to hear you have been feeling a bit funny. I would definitely get checked over if I were you hun. I hope your ok and feel a bit better soon

yeah sugarhigh they will definitely take the water off you as you go through security. I'm afraid you have to buy it as you go through.

rach, beautiful pics of your boys! do you know if they're identical or not yet??

Claire hope you have a wonderful holiday and that you get good news from your SIL when you are awa. I will be  for her and her LO.

Hi to everyone else - I havent really had time to catch up been such an awful couple of days here, we took Josh to uni and then he began to feel really ill - I cannot believe poor he has been so poorly - never mind he seems to be on the mend a bit now but we have to go up on Thursday to take him a load of bedding and underwear!! He is mortified that he had a couple of accidents bless - its never happened to him before but Dave did tell him never to trust a FART!!! :rotfl: Anyway my poor bump has had no attention over the past couple of days but I have just checked with our doppler and its heart is beating away nice and strong - feeling lots of flutters now - I was beginning to worrry but think all is OK. We have our 20 week scan on Monday which I am starting to get worried about already :( It seems such a long time ago since we last saw our little bean........ Oh yes and Han comes home in 16 days!!! :D but she has accepted a 3 month stint to Tunisia from November so will only be around for a short while :(

Well I hope everyone is Ok and has a nice Wednesday - almost half way through another week - they go so fast!!

Jane x

Morning everyone,

ROM - I was thinking about you and wondering how your son wss getting on at Uni, poor thing being ill for Freshers week, hope he's a lot better soon.

Rach - Sorry to hear your not feeling too well, take it easy and put your feet up (see if someone could look after Christopher for a couple of hours so you can rest properly.

The last couple of mornings I've been feeling queesy again, nothing as bad as my morning sickness when it was at it's worst, but enough to not be enjoying it!! I'm also so, so tired as well. Phoebe woke really early this morning as she's got a cough and cold, so was awake at about 4.30am, so we brought her into bed with us for a cuddle and luckily she fell asleep again, I even had to wake her up to get her ready for nursery, she then fell asleep again on the way in, poor munchkin, she wasn't ill enough for me to keep her off though.

I found out the other day one of the girls I work with is also pregnant which is great news, it's still early days though so she's keeping it quiet from everyone here. She blames me for being pregnant as I told her it can take years to fall pregnant (well it took us 3 years to conceive Phoebe), she got pregnant the first month of trying , lucky thing. It's lovely to think that she'll be on maternity leave at the same time as me so we can meet up for coffees and chats.

Hope you all have a good day B x

Oh thanks for thinking about me Bexie  I have to say the Uni were amazing on Monday - Josh was obviously really poorly and we were trying to get a doctor to him - the lady on reception gave us the medical centre number and also reassured us that she would explain why he wasnt at enrollment - he was gutted but hopefully he will get there today and will have only lost 2 days..... Its been such a worry, I dont know how I stopped myself from driving back up there but I sort of knew it was important for him to deal with it as much as he could!! God help my phone bill though - I spent most of Sunday night from 2.30 am on the phone to him he was so frightened........ :(

He was offered a place at Aber Uni is that where you work?

Jane x
