OMG! I can't believe 2nd Tri is nearly over for me! It's gone sooooo fast! Much faster than 1st Tri!
I am really excited about going to 3rd Tri, but sad that some of you aren't coming with me yet (although I reckon I will keep logging on and coming here first out of habit so I don't suppose it's the last you've heard of me)...
How long do I have to wait til you all get there?

My back is still bad today, and Im still knackered! but Im trying to keep my chin up!

 to Scarlett!

Morning all,

Choklatemunky - Sorry to hear about your bad back , I hope it clears up for you sooner rather than later and that your DH helped you into the bath followed by a nice massage.

Rach - Poor Christopher, that must have been horrible for him having that solution in his eyes and making everything blurey, I know when I've tried to put sunglasses on Phoebe they've never stayed on more than a minute, you can get wrap around glasses which might be easier for him.

Lisapoon - Hope you have fun catching up with your friend and manage to stay awake, I'm suppose to be going out with friends on Saturday evening, but to be honest I can't be bothered, all I want to do in the evening is chill!

Hi Scarlett  and welcome. Hope everything is going smoothly with your pregnancy. :D

When I got home last night there was a letter from the council from the buildings inspector saying he was going to take us to court if he couldn't inspect the roofing work we've had done soon , the problem is that the work took a lot longer than we were quoted, so cost a lot more and we have now run out of money, we still need to insulate the loft, which is the main thing they want to inspect, my OH was panicking as we need to pay for the insulation plus another £250 approx for the building inspector to come round and we just haven't got the money!! My OH went round to my mum's to use her computer to do a bit of investigation and while there checked his e-mails and had an e-mail saying we'd won £500 on the Irish lottery :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: What a result and such a relief, that seems to have solved that problem and eased and potential stress :cheer: :cheer:

I forgot to say yesterday when we got back from our weekend away I popped round to my mums with Phoebe and her dog went for Phoebe. Phoebe didn't do anything to provoke her other than walk up to the dog, luckily the dog was right by me so I was able to stop it going for her. It was so worrying though, Phoebe's bottom lip was quivering she was so scared. We've decided not to go round there anymore as the dog is a nuisence, sometimes they put the dog upstairs, but my mum's foster son always lets it back down and to be honest I just can't take the risk of the dog attacking Phoebe, it's only a little terrier, but I know it's bitten a few people, my mum always defends it saying it must have been provoked.

Otherwise all is good.

Alot of us will be joining you Choklatemunky in just over a week, I know me, Rach, Babydust and Kmac are all due within days of eachother.

Becks x

HI girls

Welcome Scarlett jump in we all do lol

Lisa hope you had fun with your friend

Chok hope you are feeling better now please don't leave tri 2 :(

Rach I had to get glasses for my 5 and 4 yr olds this summer and they are generally ok with them but be prepared to go to the opticians every couple of weeks to get the arms bent back, lenses replaced, etc etc lol. The only problem we have is my DD insists on having them at the end of her nose and looking over them at you like a school marm!

babydust hope your SIL is ok thinking of her

Bex poor Phoebe :( if you know anyone with a friendly dog please take her to see it it would be horrid for her to grow up scared of dogs. I am in Warminster and have the soppiest dog going if you are anywhere nearby and don't mind getting licked lol

I am back at work and am back to not having an apetite so we think it may be the disruption with my work hours (4pm - 8pm) by the time I get home just before 9 I just wanna go bed! I am going to give it a few weeks and see how it goes and if this continues then I will have to write asking for different hours as my current shifts are affecting mine and bubs health. It is a last resort though cos I work for a charity and I know it will be really hard for them to change my hours

Morning all  back from our weekend away and we had such a lovely time - I was really proud of myself I walked miles around the boat show and didnt moan at all :D well except that Dave hadnt got 1/4 million pounds to buy me the boat I wanted :D

Claire your poor SIL - what a worrying time for you all - I know people say after the first 12 weeks the worrying gets worse but I dont think thats true - I seem to worry about every little thing.

I cant believe so many of you are off to 3rd tri soon!! How scary is that.......

chok im only a week and 1 day behind you hun  sorry your back is still bad hope its better soon xxx

bexie great news about winning that money should put your mind at ease for a little while  awful about the dog glad your DD is ok xxx

mik sorry your back at work hope everything settles down for you soon or you manage to change your shifts  xxx

hi jane so glad you had a good weekend :D xxx

babydust sorry there is not better news off your sil  glad she is staying positive it must be terrifying for her and all the family of course :( im  that baby hangs in there and thinking of you all
so pleased you managed to get the stuff you needed for the nursery :D and :cheer: for coming home outfit :D ive still to get something for the twins to wear home but i have finished buying all the bottles now also bought the cot divider (which allows them both to sleep in the same cot till they are moving around more) all i have left to get now is 1 car seat coming home outfits and some more bedding MIL is buying the cotbed and BIL buying the pushchair so i think we are practically done :cheer:

need to get a move on with packing my bags for hospital im supposed to have them packed by 26 weeks and take them with me each time i go to see the consultant so if anything goes wrong or babies stop growing we are ready to go straight in to hospital ive bought a few bits but got nothing to put them in and still loads more to buy toiletries etc  better get a shift on lol xxxxxxxx

Hi

I feel like i'm always saying this at the moment but i am feeling sorry for myself. My sniffle seems to have developed into a full cold now. I came home from work early yesterday as i felt rotten and i'd had enough of colleagues saying i should go home as i shouldn't be sneezing and blowing my nose over patients. They were being really nice and saying that i should be looking after myself and the baby. I just felt guilty about leaving them short staffed. Hopefully i'll feel better in a couple of days.

I still haven't put on any weight and i can't decide whether to treat myself to a dopplar or not. I'm frightened that i'll try to find the heartbeat and there will be nothing there. Also people say that they stop using it really when they start to feel movement and hopefully that will be soon for me now. i thought i felt something a couple of days ago but had nothing since so now not certain.

 Hi and welcome to 2nd tri Scarlett everyone is great in here.

Chok: its great about 3rd tri i haven't got the energy or the patience at the moment to work out if you'll still be there when i am but either way please keep popping in here. Hope your back is better.

Bexie: bet thats taken a weight of your mind winning that money. Some things are just meant to be :cheer: .

Babydust: still praying for your sil. We finally made a start on clearing the back bedroom but i haven't made any decisions on what we do with the walls when its empty. I guess i'd better start soon. I'm always playing a silly game on the computer called farm frenzy so maybe farm animals for me.

Lisa: hope you have a good night. I went out for a friends 40th the other week. I too didn't fancy it as everyone else would be drunk but i actually had i really good night so i hope you do too.

Mik: hope you appitite comes back again.

Rach: lets hope that when he realises he can see with the glasses on he'll keep them on. We can live in hope. at having to have bags packed by 26 weeks. I presume thats because you are having twins. I keep saying that i'm not butying anything till after the 20 week scan but now i'm not sure.

ROM: i'm glad you had a good weekend. I'm hoping to go to the baby show thats on in Manchester in November (has anyone been to one of these before are they any good for getting bargins? I was just thinking it would be good to see a load of products in one place). My dh sails and he also likes looking at boats but untill we win the lottery there is no chance.

Hope everyone's ok and i'm sorry if i've missed anyone.

Speak soon.

Grace xx

hi gracie  sorry your sniffles turned into a cold hun  hope your feeling better soon dont worry about the weight thing im having twins and only 8/9 days off 3rd tri and am at this moment 4 pound lighter than when i got pregnant  should only be a few more weeks now and you will be feeling movements all the time hun try not to worry
have to have bags packed early firstly due to over half of twins being born before 34 weeks  and because i have a blood condition where my blood clots too easy if my placenta was to get blocked with clots now they would get babies out before they stop growing and die :( (this is what happened to my 2nd child Jamie) he was stillborn at 34 weeks  so we are being monitored closely to avoid this happening again after 26 weeks should they be at all worried about whats going on with my babies then out they will come :(
obviously we dont want them out this early as there chances of survival would still be very slim so from friday onwards its a case of every week i can healthily keep them inside me is a bonus :D xxxxxxxx

Rach

 that your babies stay nice and healthy in you for as long as possible. Hope you are taking it easy and resting as much as possible. Although i imagine thats hard to do at times with having other children.

grace xx

thanks hun  im trying to rest as much as possible and am on medication to prevent blood from clotting so fingers crossed all will be well  my oldest child is a big help to me and o/h usually helps out quite a bit so other than looking after christopher in the day im a lady of leisure now :D xxxxxxxx

Glad your taking loads of rest Rach, what a star your eldest son is helping out. Make the most of your rest time before your two boys arrive.

morning all
well im a complete wreck this morning so glad my scan is fairly early 11:30 or thereabouts depending on how far behind the consultant is when we get there lol been feeling plenty of movements but still cant tell if its 1 or 2 of them moving which is a constant worry to me :(
 both babies will be well and growing normally wish me luck xxxxxxxxxxx

 for you Rach - I hope you have a lovely time seeing those boys of yours again :D

Ladies I wish I hadnt put on any weight :D I'm the size of a small hippo!! I know what you mean about worry Gracie I am only still feeling the odd flutter and little tap at the moment and I thought I would feel it early as its my 3rd. I am wondering if because it has been so long since the last one perhaps its like having your first??? I keep on checking the video we have of our NT scan to check it had arms and legs :D Because they moved me forward after we had booked my 20 week scan its not till the 29th when I will be 21 + 4 so I've got ages yet before I see my LO again :(

Bexie wow fancy winning the Irish Lottery - I dont even manage a £10 on the UK one!! Stopped buying tickets now as it was just like putting £1 in the bin!!!

Claire I love Peter Rabbit - how ironic that you have had to get the stuff from the US when its such an english thing.....

Choklatemunkey bad backs suck  hope you are feeling better now.

 Scarlett nice to see you - there wont be many of us left in here soon the majority are leaving us for a new home soon :D but hopefully they will pop back now and then to help us out :D

Well its a beautiful day here - the sun out but it has a really crisp feeling - Autumn is definately here. Need to get going as all Josh's clothes need washing and ironing before we take him on Saturday and I need to get into work early so I've got to get the first load on.....

Have a great day one and all and Rach I will be checking up to see how the scan goes  X

Just popped on to say good luck for your appointment today rach..... hope all is well with your bubs!! :D

Morning all,

Rach, I'll be thinking of you this morning and praying all is ok, I hope all goes well with your scan and your boys behave on camera. xx

ROM, The Irish lottery really is worth doing, for just picking 3 numbers we won £500, I think the range of numbers is the same as the National Lottery 1 - 49.

Choklatemunkey, hope your back is feeling better.

It's a gorgeous day here too, so I put a dress and sandles on, stopped off at the cashpoint on the way in a noticed my legs needed a good shave, so stopped at the supermarket brought some razors and shaved my legs at work in the ladies toilets!!, I'm hopeless, I find it really difficult now to shave my legs in the bath or shower so have been a little negletful of them, I'm glad I noticed before I got to work!!

Rach - hope it goes ok today

Bexie - thanks for the well wishes about my back :) - seem to have a sore shoulder today and I think its cos Ive been sitting/laying funny to compensate for my back......must look like a right wolly, stooped over with my neck tilting to one side :rotfl:

Babydust - Peter Rabbit ROCKS! I love the film Miss Potter too. :D

ROM - your scan will come round before you know it!

Well, I guess that this is me 'officially' off.......(although unofficially,....as if! I bet as I said I will still be in and out of here 'til you all come and join me again!)

Morning girls

Rach will be thinking of you sweetie make sure you rest loads

Chok hope your back and shoulder are better soon be careful how you sit or something else will hurt tomorrow lol. Please pop back into tri 2 just as I get to know you all you are all moving to 3rd

Babydust still thinking of you and your family your SIL sounds like she s being so brave but I guess you have to stay positive

Bex shaving you legs at work :rotfl: I think that would be totally impossible at my work

I am doing good just normal stuff, hw, kids, school run, cooking, work, dog walking nothing exciting

Rach, hope all went well at your scan and you have some nice photo's to show us of your boys.

Choklatemunky - wow your a tri 3 girl now, not long till a load more of us join you :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: We'll all have to come in together holding hands, like new school girls all scared of the big girls
