Good news re: the promotion sara

I've been feeling a bit down in the mouth too. Mainly due to the fact that we recently found out that my husband's work contract won't be renewed next year (he was temporary and we knew this might have been a possibility so it's not entirely unexpected but even so
) It's just really bad timing. His boss did his best for him but the funding simply wasn't there. So the job hunt is on. What's upsetting me the most is that even if he finds something quickly he won't be entitled to anything in the way of paternity leave. I actually posted all about that earlier and how it is worrying me and then thought 'shuddup you moaning old cow' and deleted it 
Ho hum.
