Im sorry guys. I promise I am sending all my early labour vibes to you buggy. I don't want to jump the que I promise :\

They are getting uncomfortable but not painful so I really don't know, mum said to time them and they are about 5-6 min apart and lasting 30-45 seconds, so maybe?! I've downloaded a D&B playlist and I'm dancing through them! I look so stupid but it REALLY helps!!!

I'm willing to put a tenner down that they all fizzle out though. I'm not destined to go early! Anyone heard from Vic? xxx

Im actually starting to think ill never meet this baby now.
From week 37 I was excited to meet him. But now I think its gone past that completely and im not believing its ever going to happen. (Obviously it will)

Its like, im not overly excited all the time anymore x

Lol it sounds so promising. Keep active and hopefully they start getting painful and stronger (not that I wish pain upon you) now is better than being overdue :-D xx

Just had my second sweep - it hardly hurt at all! And she said she didn't do it lightly.... Just shows how rough the other midwife on Monday was to make it hurt that much! Just been out for a walk to try and get things moving!
I only got one at 40+2 because I was in triage and the one today was because my midwife only does Wednesdays and my weeks roll over on a Saturday xxx

Hey girls had a bit of a busy but nice day getting my hair and nails done to try make me feel human lol! Omg spinsugar sounds like this could really be it! I'm so jealous lol! Everything seems to have calmed down for me was feeling rubbish this morning with cramping and still having discharge but nothing now I don't know if I'm coming or going lol! I would phone tge hospital if they are 5-6 mins apart cos if its labour u won't b long til baby decides to make an appearance! Ahh it's so exciting! Keep us updated Hun! Fingers toes and everything crossed for u! X

You've had quite a lot so it sounds like they will keep going, Mine only last half an hour or an hour then go!

My friend was always convinced she'd be late and she was early and I was the opposite so you never know!

That's the same as me, the second one I had was fine!

Oh Spinsugar it does sound like you could be in labour and you are so close to your due date it isn't unrealistic to think so! I expect you'll probably have your baby before I have mine. I have a horrible feeling I'll have to be induced next week I haven't had any more pains yet although I am still noticing some tightenings which I've had on and off for a while. Fx something is going on down there.

I've just been naughty and ordered a takeaway for dinner, hope hubby doesn't mind when he gets home and see's no dinner on the go hehe

Oh, I hope u dont have induction. I wouldn't want it, so wouldn't wish it for others.

It would really suck because I've said from the beginning I want a water birth but I suppose I'll just be grateful to have her out by then. Weird to think she'll be here this time next week all being well!

Have you discussed water birth and induction with the midwife? Cos I thought a water birth was out if I was induced, but they've said if the pessary works and baby is ok then a water birth is still on. It's the hormone drip that automatically means no water.

Um, sounds like labour to me. Yes there's a chance it may fizzle out, but be positive!!

Been busy today so only getting to check in now.

OMG spin sugar, sounds like ur well on ur way! Id ring hosp just incase, it could be a speedy baby. Good luck, hope this is it for u!

Im still feeling abit crampy, its now over my bump & lower bump nothing bad. Back still achey too, so uncomfortable today. The only thing is i went to loo & the discharge (which was loads) was darker, like a more browny tinge? Is that norm? Def wasnt plug or thicker than usual discharge, just diff colour. Ive never had an infection, so im abit confused. x

think i need to to bed had a brill day if not very hot and very long LO was so well behaved so proud of her everyone commented on how well behaved she was. shes no flat out in bed took her all of 60 seconds to fall asleep once in her cot. i might have to join her after walking around the show field all day.

mw apointment was disapointing no sweep she got her dates mixed up and thought i was 40 weeks already. and i was so sure baby had dropped but no still 4/5 engadged i could have cried everything else ok though.

little bit worried that there is road works on the way to hospital im booked in at that are holding traffic up for 30 mins and its already a 40 min drive same in the opposite direction to second choice hospital. xx

Mine has been gstting darker. More dark yellow than brown I think though. So should maybe ask a midwife x
