Tnx umbongo, have a feeling this week will fly by & il be busy right up to it. Im being killed with heartburn & reflux at moment so looking forward to the relief of getting a little hard head out of my ribs lol.

Morning ladies. I'm in the 'crap night sleep club' again today.

Kelly - I've been up to the assessment clinic with reduced movement three times now and they're always really lovely and understanding so don't worry about making a fuss - it's what they're there for.

I was worried I'd get bored being on maternity leave but this is my second week and I've got something planned every day this week so should keep time ticking over nicely

Good morning Nomad. Sorry about your crap nights sleep. My midwife always tells me to call if i get the reduced movement. To be honest, he never has been much of a regular mover. I've heard people say that planning things to do everyday is really good for maternity leave. Must say, ive not done so myself and it has been ok. But now i wish i had plans this week as the closer to 40 weeks i get, the more impatient im becoming. Today for the first time, i actually feel quite down and upset that he still isn't giving any signs of appearing over the next few days

Thank you. Im not really sure whether the community midwife sorts out a sweep and induction? I presume she does. So i do hope i come out with at least a date for a sweep. I don't think id ask for a sweep. I'm quite shy and quiet really lol! Maybe she will offer. Although, not sure what the rules are before 40 weeks.
I think it must be nice knowing the date that it will happen. But also, i guess it does take a slight bit of excitement out of it too.
Its frustrating, i am constantly looking for signs, like trickles of water or a show or pains. But even my cramps have eased up over the last few days. OH has said he will come for a walk soon. So might try take a walk for at least half hour if i don't get too tired. My belly gets so heavy lol x

I did half a cupboard yesterday and then the novelty wore off! think that's my nesting over with for this pregnancy!

Yeh - i defo wanna find out as she wont be able to get me in for another appointment with her until im 41+5! And even then is a struggle for her.
I find rlt very boring and tasteless and certainly not sweet. I heard ppl put sugar in it sometimes?

Mummy2b19 I hope you're feeling better now. Hugs are amazingly healing things! I got a bit emotional yesterday as I was feeling so hot and sick. Probably just exhausted from a busy weekend.

I went my second night without a wee break?!?! Wtf?! I think I need to drink more! I still woke up with BH (happens every night) but went back to sleep. Fully cooked on Friday this week but not ready for baby yet so won't be trying to get things going yet!

I finally got raspberry leaf tea capsules at the weekend, hubby thought £7.49 was excessive though!! xx

Amazing isn't it? Much better sleep as it always wakes me up so much to get up. I quite enjoy theBH in a sick way as I know it's good practise for my body!

I am meant to be prepping nursery for painting today! Still lazing in bed though xx

So you will probably know where you are heading soon. Not long now. Try the walk, I'm forcing myself to walk everyday even though I look like a penguin! Xx

Hope so. I need to be in a better mood than I am today. Im ready to cry. Feeling odd. I dont feel pregnant in the slightest! No aches or pains or anything.

OH just asked if I was ready for the walk and I said "whats the point? Its not gonna help anyway!?" And I was the one who suggested it! Xx

I do bits and bobs but don't always have much energy. I tided up the book shelf the other day and cleaned out the kitchen food cupboard. Today I cleaned all the kitchen cupboard door fronts and the appliances, don't think I'll do much else now!

My OH keeps suggesting a walk then I have to remind him about my PGP! He also keeps suggesting sex, we've tried it 3 times in the last couple of weeks and it hasn't worked, I think he's just trying to get a few in before the baby comes lol

I've been extra emotional today, I think I cried 4 separate times this morning. I really hope the sweep goes well tomorrow! I can't carry on like this much longer.

I'm like you, my original due date was 12 days earlier than my new EDD so I already feel like I'm 42 weeks and really thought the baby would be here by now!

39 weeks, wow giz! Exciting stuff!! What's wrong with your leg? I kept nearly getting cramp, which sounds odd, but I manage to stretch it just bwfire it starts usually. Ouch though. X

I dunno it just kind of aches. I can't get comfy in bed. I also keep nearly getting cramp too! I mostly manage to catch it before it happens it's a horrible sensation when you think you're gonna get it.

I think I'm kind of nesting. I don't really have anything baby specific to do, so my nesting energies are focussed on decluttering! I'm planning on a complete overhaul of I storage cupboard and coming up with storage solution ideas for it and now I want to go to Ikea to buy stuff. Going to see if hubby will come with me on Sunday as I don't fancy driving that far at 39 weeks in a pretty naff courtesy car.

its frustrating isnt it. And you have a reason to be frustrated but I don't lol. So I should stop moaning until friday.
