Poor Charlotte, that sounds awful! At least oh has been able to stay & support her. Really hope she starts to feel better & gets home soon with her little man. Will she be kept in for a while then? Im abit scared now :( x

I think she said Saturday she should be home. Fingers crossed. I think she is understandably feeling a bit sorry for herself xx

Understandably so, been a big week for her! x

It is annoying isn't it! You can't help but get a bit excited then they fizzle out, been doing it to me for weeks!

i font know if constatly being in this much pain is normal can anyone compare im 38 weks.

constant cramp in lower back
constant cramp/ sharp pain in lower half of tummy
very sharp pain like can barley walk as soon as i start to need a wee (no uti at apointment with mw on friday )
constant pressure (like i need to poo) this gets worse if i try to go to the lo.

the only thing that stops these pains is a. having a really really hot bath which i know we sre not sllowed to do so cant do very often/ for long periods of time and b. sometimes bouncing on the ball helps especially with lower tummy pains.

cant take paracetomal because currently throwing most things back up could posinly try hot water bottle but still struggling with the heat/ hot flushes.

is all this totally normal because i dont remember being like this last time im in a hell of a lot of pain all of the time?! xx

Well, from my experience at 38 weeks.. I pretty much had none of that.. xxx

i dont know weather to ring midwife or not because its not like im having contractions so they csnt really do anything xx

I'm a week or so behind you but I've had constant crampy pains for a few days...

I keep trying to time then, but its not contractions... I had a nap today because I felt a bit crappy and they actually woke me up.. felt like I needed a really big poo! but nothing ....

Ive got the dull ache in my back at the moment and keeps moving round to very low stomach/pelvic region.

I brought it up at mdiwife on Tues but she just said its braxton hicks!

If you are ever worried though, just ring for reassurance xx

see if i have bh my tummy goes rock hard thats why i presumed it wasnt that. Think i will give her a text to see if i get a reply because shes only part time and its a 40 min trip to hospital to get checked out x

Mummy, hope you can get a reply from midwife for a bit of reassurance.

Hmmm yeah, I was experiencing some bad rubbing today!!

All I can think about is how much gym work I've got ahead of me! my legs are like tree trunks :-( not an attractive look for the lido. Least I have an excuse I suppose.

There's someone posting on this website that doesn't quite add up. Some weird questions. Loads of threads started today and a few odd replies.

Hi ladies. Had a shitty day today. Long story short car seat is no good, hubby is refusing to buy another one till we are practiced with the pram we were given and were happy with it (fair enough) got back home to discover one of the cats has pissed on every single part of the travel system.
Re washed it all but cannot get it out :-( no pram, no carseat, no money budgeted!

So annoyed with the cats. They've not done that for over a year so I don't know why now.

Had a whole load of new fleas hatch today, so we've retreated the cats with some other prescription stuff. Going to see my friend tomorro about re spraying the flat.

Baby is refusing to turn and Infact has moved the wrong way. He has moved up! So I'm back to indigestion and struggling to breathe! Back hurts so much from being upright all day and I can't even get on the floor and do yoga.

I feel like such a skank. Messy flat, pissy pram and fleas! Social services will bloody love me :-(

Oh and I've been told on the 17th hubby will be going to the family event without me (its a 90 min drive away) and he WILL be bringing his mum back with him to stay for a week. Oh and his sister, her hubby and her 2 kids (who I adore, don't get me wrong) also want to come stay the night of the 17th if the baby has arrived. (due 10th). And were going to a wedding on the 24th. For the whole day. And if I'm still in hospital he will go without me.

He's f**king deluded. But I'm so emotionaly spent I just can't fight back.

Sorry for the huge moan :-(

Xx

Oh spin sugar :-(

Your oh is sounding a bit insensitive at the mo. Do you think he's in a bit of denial about the baby? It's hard for them to feel that it's all real until the baby is born. I'd like to say once baby is born, if you're not up to it, then he'd stay with you instead of going to the wedding.

As for cats pee, have you tried white vinegar? My daughter peed on the carpet yesterday and I looked it up, and vinegar was recommended. It's breaks down the urine and gets rid of the smell. Had mum here today and she couldn't smell anything.
