*-*-*-*August Mummies!*-*-*-*

Yeh thats pretty unlucky. I just had a look for Thursday in Northants and it says 29 degrees. Every other year id have loved that cause i could have had a bbq or something nice for my bday - but this year.... NO THANK YOU!

We've had no bbqs this year as the garden has no shade in the evenings so I can't bear to be outside!

Thats a shame. Hopefully it will be nice next year for some bbqs. X

In my experience being severely constipated is more painful than labour. Hope that makes you feel better.

Im still confused by braxton hicks ladies.

I went to the midwife and lied down and my belly was really hard. Which I always thought was the baby just pushing against my skin.. but she said it wasnt and that it was BH..

But, how can I actually be sure? X

I think labour is also a different type of pain, there's a nice prize at the end too. And at the end of the day there's lots of pain relief options :-)

The only way you'd know for sure is if you were on a trace machine at the time. When I was on one, another lady was on one and she was getting quite strong Braxton hicks according to the machine but she couldn't feel them.

I never had what I'd call classic Braxton hicks last time. But I did have the odd half hour where my belly went rock solid and I felt like I could barely breathe. I think they might have been them, but not 100% sure. I've not had anything this time yet and 38+1.

sods bloody law my dinner is 5 mins off being ready and LO wakes up. i need to remember that until it all went wrong last time i got to 9cm on gas and air. ive been quite chilled out about it until now hopefully its just a temporary melt down x

Oh thats so odd. Cause so many people say about having them so strong that I thought they must be noticeable. But, I cant say I really notice them either.
