I've never had one or will have one I have rubbish friends!

I've only got two more days (half days actually) of work :-D I'm going to miss it though. I'm going to give potty training a damn good go from Thursday as she is 2.5 and it would be nice to not have two in nappies.

I finally found something to wear in the hospital. Absolutely no luck with shorts. But got a pair of nighties for 13 quid in mothercare (half price) which will do. They have buttons at the top to make breastfeeding easier too.

So think I have everything now for the hospital bag so will get that fully packed tonight.

curry was gorgeous kel! we couldnt eat it all though and bought it home in a doggy bag lol i had a tikka massala with keema naan and gaz had a mixed biriyani however ya spell it lol i aint much for them its not like a curry to me that aint lol tandoori tikka masala is my fav

gaz has got a few weeks off yeah , 2 weeks hol before due date week, then 2 weeks paternity then 2 weeks hol after that but hes panickin abit now cuz if baby doesnt come on the due date he will have to go back in work that week so his paternity doesnt kick in which sucks big time would prefer him here on my due date week but what can ya do i think its crap how my maternity kicks in on the due date whether hes here or not

my lil man is just worryin me how this last few days he hasnt kicked me much or anythin compared to how he used to, like you say its more fidgets a dunno just keepin me eye on it now

anna456 glad im not the only one not feelin baby as much and i heard that about dates as well but also slow energy release foods do this in first stage labour so stock upon them when ya go into latent stage, will be in that hospital in no time doin this accordin to midwifes

i havnt had the joys of anyone arranging a baby shower for me feel abit left out to be honest lol have any other ladies had theirs?

kel, this is a good sign my midwife said about the leg n back ache. its your body gearing up for the big day! i get it too. feels like a dull ache through ya legs like they have gone really heavy? apparently ya feel this worse in labour

primark do really cheap pj bottoms ! im takin 2 pairs of these in , 6 pairs of boxer type knickers and two of my belvia bras , if i need more il just send OH home lol but hopin not be in there that bloody long! xx

Giz - I also won't be having a baby shower. To be honest, im not too fussed. But would have loved a little get together if im honest. Everyone will wanna be here when baby arrives. So why not before?
Woohoo for your last two half days at work! And good luck potty training.

You know what - i just realised my night dress is totally restricting for bf in hospital! I shall defo have to go change that!

Charlotte - Scott has to do the same. He is off from Friday until August 6th! Then if baby hasnt arrived will have to go back to work for a few days until baby arrives and then start his paternity! Doesn't matter too much to him as he basically has most of his last month at this job left. About time he said bye to Tesco. Its not ideal working in a supermarket at his age as he may have ended up staying there forever, even though he was in Butchery.

Lol Kelly. My husband works at Tesco. I met him when I worked there! He's been there forever lol, but I pushed him into management when we got together!!! If he hadn't have met me he might still be a GA.

I tried the size 18 primark bottoms (I started out size 12/14 pre preg) and the pj shorts showed my bum cheeks!! Not ideal when wearing granny knickers and maternity pads! I wanted shorts/vest cos it was so hot in hospital last time.

yep dont blame him for leaving , id never slag anyones job off or the fact they work in a supermarket because we do dont we but cant say theres not more beneficial things out there. i went to college and studied beauty for three years and couldnt find anything so got set on at sainsburys and enjoyed the secuirty and pay and just got comfy , paid for me car n all sorts, holiday pay, and now this pension pay the lot so its hard get out of. did a home class in personal trainin and nutrition as well just cuz i enjoyed it. gaz is only at sainsburys mostly in winter time or between his fencing jobs through again security. he wont be there forever he doesnt want to be he says. and il be lookin for another job when its time to go back cuz i hate it. im only plannin on goin back work 24 hrs a week until lil man is in school. we can afford it on gaz's income so il do it. plus im thinkin on goin back to studyin.

and me either on the baby shower thing ! poop aint it

i bet you cant im excited for ya!! lol i loved it when the midwife told me his head was low lol

Yep i work in Tesco myself! Haha. Thing is, he went for management and did the whole training in Leics and the placement etc and they put him in a small store which isn't where he works and failed him because the store manager of the small store wanted him as his team leader and he said no.

Then he got messed about. So i'm glad he is moving away from them now to be honest xx

Yes i couldn't slag off somebody's job cause i would be slagging off my own! Id rather work in Tesco that have no job at all for sure! And i enjoy the hard work i have to put in. And like you, i worked there from 16 part time while i was doing my A Levels and then got so into the money. I treated myself to a new bedroom at 17. A new laptop at 17 and a girly holiday to Ibiza just before my 18th. And then enjoyed the money so much that i worked more and more lol. To be fair, my job paid more than id get in any other job, so i just stuck at it. Im not sure about how many hours i shall work. Scotts new job starting wage is not much more a year but he gets bonuses on top. So it all depends on what the bonuses are like and how quickly he gets into the next role of the job which i cant imagine to take long.

Roll on 3.10pm on tuesday! I reallllly hope she says he is head down. And if he is engaged id be well happy xxx

yep same here! did all the things i wanted to cuz of that job and it paid for the courses i did at home the beauty industry back then i dont know about now didnt pay as much as im on now at sainsburys. but i didnt persue it cuz like you say , ya get comfy dont ya. yeah just see how it goes eh

right im off get ready go this last antenatal class, cant not go curiosity is killin me evn though i would of probs read in me books what they are gonna tell me lol speak soon xx
