Not using tens. They reallly hurt :-( more than I imagined :-( xx

Sent from my GT-I9300

Put your fav music on. Have a shower or bath. Try and focus on something else not just the contraction.
You can do it Kelly!!! I'm sending you dilation vibes!! Xxx

Wow it's all go!
I just had another sweep but midwife reckons ill end up at induction on Monday. Cervix down and central and slightly open and stretchy, but still thick. Baby still not engaged at all. Midwifes guess is go in Monday, prostaglandin (as unlikely to be able to reach my waters) and baby on Tuesday

That's a shame Lu, still Monday is long to wait

Good luck Kelly, sounds like you aren't far off though!

My contractions seem to have stopped now, this is so frustrating, my stupid body just won't do what it is supposed to :(

Aw Lu, fingers crossed something happens for you.

Buggy, don't fret if your contractions stop. It's frustrating but every one you've had has still done some work. Fingers crossed they start up again soon for you though.

I've been slow to get moving today. Felt so nauseous this morning. Really tired after last nights cramps and loo visits :$

Now hubby is off sick from work. Not what I need!I need him to be healthy and well when I go into labour.

I'm just about to muster some energy to tackle under the bed.

We've heard from the garage...the place to test the ecu is so backed up, that although it arrived Monday gone, they won't get to even look at it till this Monday! I really hope it gets fixed before baby gets here. I worry that once it's been diagnosed it's going to be another week to fix, or worst case it's not fixable and then I'll have to make a decision to write the car off, or source a second hand ecu.

Hey giz, that is a shame about the car, I think an ecu would be expensive to fix/replace. What car is it?

It's just so disheartening, I keep getting my hopes up and then nothing, this rate I'll end up being induced on Weds :( I really hope they come back stronger than ever, I'll actually be grateful to be in pain!

Really frustrating for you Hun. The stopping and starting must be driving you mad! I went 10 days over with my first. Only a few days left for you though xxx

Thanks xxx
My OH said he felt poorly this morning. I had no sympathy whatsoever! All I could think of was you'd better not be ill when I go into labour or else!!! Xxx

Keep strong Kelly. You can do it. Try have a bath/shower. And tens if you got one. I found bouncing on the ball still helped when having contractions.

Buggy-must be so frustrating. :-( I hope something starts again soon. Keep positive your body is preparing itself.

How you feeling Giz? Anymore signs? You gonna beat me to it? Xx

Up to 500quid to repair. £2k to replace with a brand new one :-o more than the car is worth. It's a 10 year old astra.

Wednesday is still a fair way away. Try and be positive :-) you will have this baby by then!!

Nah. I think last night was just random. Probably due to the excessive constipation!! I've not even got any extra discharge or anything.

And p.s

Credit to all yous over due ladies, dont know how yous do it! Really have nothing to complain about compared to yous patiently waiting on your babies xx

Hi ladies....busy in here again today! Hope Kelly and Vic are getting on okay and fab news about Spin Sugar :-)

I had a growth scan this morning (follow up after having had a scan two weeks ago following reduced movement where baby's movements were a bit small). They're happy with baby's measurements now but I have 'slightly more than normal' amniotic fluid. They've taken a blood sample and I need to call on Monday to find out whether I've developed diabetes. I pushed them to tell me what the possible consequences are but they were really vague (both the consultant and midwife) and said that because I was 'borderline' I really didn't need to worry......so of course I googled it! It could be that it is a sign that there is something wrong with the baby however it does seem to be the case that they could then check this with a scan and as I had a scan this morning I'm thinking it's safe to assume that there were no problems showing up and so I'm not overly worried....however the NHS website does say that it may mean that baby needs close monitoring while I'm in labour which will mean def no water birth and that I'll be hooked up to monitors and so less mobile which I really don't want.

Going to wait and see what my blood test results show up and try not to worry about it. I haven't been in any rush for baby to be born (mainly because it still doesn't really seem real to me!!) and could quite happily manage another couple of weeks of being pregnant....now I'm thinking that maybe baby being born sooner rather than later might be a good thing. Hmmmm.... I guess it doesn't change anything in the sense that baby will arrive whenever he/she is good and ready!

Sorry for long post! Just not really sure how I feel..! x

Awwwwwww Nomad that's not good to have worry at this stage of events! It does sound like they're just being over cautious though.
Have they put in your notes about extra monitoring? You might not have to have it. The scan would have shown up any major problems I'm sure.

It does sometimes feel like there's no end to the worry! Once baby is here I bet it's even worse!

Try not to worry, if anything that will delay labour.

Fx Kelly is getting on okay!!! Xx

My friend had gestational diabetes with her two. She was induced two weeks early and indeed wasn't allowed a water birth, but she hadn't considered one anyway. I know she had monitoring but I'm pretty certain she wasn't to restricted, I'm sure she was active with her second.

Try not to worry, and see it as a positive sign that if you do have it then they found out now.

3 august babies today, thats good going! Come on ladies, whos going to be next :) x

Thanks ladies. I'd guess that developing it at this late stage it probably won't have chance to do too much 'damage'. Baby is measuring fine so that's reassuring :-)
