Hope it all goes well Jamie! I know how nerve wrecking each step can be but try to remember that thousands of women have great 20 week scans everyday and you’re highly likely to be one of them xx

Hey everyone just wanted to update that my due date has been changed to 5th August.. That's the 4th date I've been given but they said this one will stick haha hope everyone's keeping well xx

Welcome to the august club Laura. Its quite quiet in here but hopefully after 20 week scans and then when we all start getting fat and uncomfortable there will be more chatter.

I am at that annoying just looking fat rather than pregnant stage now... worst bit. cant sleep on my tummy anymore though and things are starting to ache a little. Scan isn't until the 6th of April so got ages to wait yet too.

Thanks hehe I have been flitting between this thread but was mainly on the July thread as was given the initial dd of 25th July, then 30th July, then 4th August and now 5th August haha it's crazy that they just can't make up their mind!

The 20 week scan is definitely the best one! I had mine just on wed and omg it was the best! We saw sooo much of the baby and like so many little details like she showed us all the 4 chambers of the heart, showed us the little bladder filling slowly and 2 wee kidneys and a diaphram, just random but still nice to know they're there hahaha We even could see the line on the brain where it is split into the two lobes as you're looking at it top down and the cerebellum which was crazy- I never thought we would be able to see such detail.

They didn't get everything they needed as the baby was flipping and curled up, one of the knees was on the nose!? weird child. haha also both hands were basically in her mouth so they couldn't check the lip for cleft lip or all the wee heart flaps and stuff properly as all arms and legs were over the chest but said that everything they could get to see looked perfect!

I feel like gymnastic classes will be in order for this little one with that level of flexibility and antics going on xx

Thank you! It really did. I don't like complaining about the NHS but my MW told me to phone the MAU if I noticed any differences in movements. 2 nights with no movement when I always feel it when I lay in a certain position and all the hospital said was "well you're still too early for regular movements"
At least I know he is alright now. It's been so nice buying baby boy things again

I'm really surprised your midwife said that, as mine specifically told me not to worry about regular movements. Apparently you'll start feeling regularity or patterns from about 29 weeks. I don't feel anything atm other than the odd wee fluttery feeling but definitely nothing regular. Glad you are feeling better about things!xx
