Niv, The doctor said my groin pain was a strain on my tendons due to the extra weight of my bump.
Apparently it pulls your centre of gravity off and your pelvis subtly overcompensates which causes a strain and inflammation.
I have been given some exercises to help. If you google 'Exercises for hip pain - Arthritis Research UK' (if you are interested in giving it a go) that is the sheet he gave me and said it should go away in a few weeks with some exercise... fingers crossed!
