***August 2018 Testing Thread***

As much as I want believe I am wrong the line is getting lighter every day and it isn't normal at this point. It is sign of a chemical pregnancy. I need to be realistic and accept it....

I see what you mean but it's not like it's gone from super dark to super light if you know what I mean? My best friend got negatives until one whole week late! So stranger things have happened. Hopefully the doctor can give you a blood test and shine some more light on what's going on... xxxxx

I will ring tomorrow but just to make sure of what I need to do to don't get any infection. I am sorry if I am so "negative" but I don't want any more false hope. Thank you for your support xxx

I'm sorry crumble. My heart breaks for you, if you need anyone to talk to let me know.

In terms of infection. They will likely tell you to allow things to happen naturally, if after 2 weeks your still getting positives then they'll scan you and decide on the next step. They'll ask you to be vigilant for infection markers such as odd discharge, nasty smell down stairs, abdominal pains and or fever.

This recently happened to me and you'll likely not have any complications as you were so early. If this is a chemical your period might be a few days late while hcg drops, and it might be heavier and slightly more painful than usual.

Sorry, if this is too blunt or raw. I know when it happened to me I woukd have liked someone to tell me what to expect.

I whole heartedly hope that this is just hormones playing up and it's all worry for nothing.

Much love to you hun xxx

Thank you baby.3 I want to know what to expect to be prepared. I will update if there is anything new. My heart is in pieces right now and I can't speak about it as nobody knew it , just my husband. But I don't think I have much to say. I find it very hard.....

Totally understand. I had no one but my partner when I had my mmc. I think I speak for us all when I say that you can talk or vent here as much as you want. Bug hugs sweet xxx

I started to bleed

Oh crumble I’m so sorry, it sounds like it’s a chemical, chemicals are so much more common then people think, lots of women have probably had one or two in their lifetime and not even known it, If you hadn’t tested early you wouldn’t never have even know what happened, not every fertilised egg makes it which is really sad :-( I had one in January and I know so many other ladies on here have had one or two also :-( so if you need to talk, vent, cry or whatever we can all support you, big hugs to you xx

I will never test early again, it is so upsetting and destroying all of this....I feel I lost a piece of me. I don't want go through this again. I will wait until is a missed period.
Do I need to contact the doctor tomorrow or it will go as "normal"?

I didn’t contact the doctor when I had mine as I knew exactly what was happening, when my friend had one she did go to the doctors they done a pregnancy test with her there which was negative they just told her she was having a miscarriage and to go home and take some painkillers and rest as there’s basically nothing they can do for you, they did tell her to go back if she got any signs of infection, it’s up to you if you go to the doctors or not but I’d say you probably don’t need to unless anything unusual happens like really heavy bleeding or bad pain which lasts

After my chemical I vowed never to test early again, I was going to wait until I was 5 days late but I always did end up testing early again then regretting it straight away :wall2:
