I have some twingey type cramps and bloating... wondering if O is early �� BD'ing frequently in case!! Think I've exhasted the OH! �� Sorry... TMI!

I don't know whether to post in this thread or July. I'm testing every day this week, although tomorrow is probably the first day where I could get a positive. I've been posting in the July thread but as it's almost over for most, I should pop over here now.

Kat- good symptoms for you there FX. I hate the TWW.


I've tested this morning but way too early. Posting on here as well as July as I think I'll move over to august.

6DPO today, just got my usual LP symptoms: little twinges and cramps, tender boobs, tiredness and very hungry, I’m hoping I get some major preggers symptoms over the next few days as I don’t feel much different,

I’m already planning ahead to my next fertile window and counting down towards that! There’s endless waiting in this game isn’t there!

PrincessP seen your other post on the July thread think it’s still definitely too early yet, fingers crossed for your next test x

what day should I count as my ovulation day do you think? I had strong positive on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22nd?

It’s hard to tell really as it’s different for every women but it’s said that you will ovulate 12 - 48 hours after first positive, you’ve usually ovulated when CM has dried up, just to give it some leeway you could count day of ovulation as day after the second positive that’s around 48 hours after first positive, it’s all a bit of a guess really unless you temp x

I really cant work out if I dtd on correct dates this month or when to test. I had a strong positive Ovulation test on Saturday 21st and sunday 22nd. I had sex on both those days however on the 22nd my husband was extremely hungover so I'm not sure how good of a job he did lol.

I didn't do any ovulation tests then until the 25th when it was negative and I also had brown spotting with watery discharge. I also had sex on that day but I'm, guessing it was probably too late. Thinking now that I should've dtd on the 23rd/24th.

I didn't notice the ovulation discharge cos it's had to tell when husband has ejaculated inside you. sorry TMI I know. If you were me, what date would you take as ovulation and when would u expect to see a BFP on first response?

So in terms of testing am I resting ridiculously early?

I would have dtd on the 21st and 22nd as well so I think you’re in with a shot. I would then treat the 23rd as ovulation day and test 14 days after that x good luck!

I second what sugary says, you’ve prob DTD on the bests days, the sperm needs to be there in the tubes before ovulation, waiting for the egg ready to pounce on it! I would also agree re what day you should count as 1DPO, personally I wouldn’t bother testing anything before 10dpo

Wouldn’t worry about hubby being badly hungover either, each ejaculation contains millions of sperm cells the booze won’t have killed off many of them, if any at all, as long as he got some of it in you (sorry!) you will still have got plenty of swimmers in there

You should notice this yourself when you go to the ladies and wipe etc.

I never took any notice of it before i was ttc now i literally get excited at the site of ewcm, as it means i am ovulating or very close to it

I don’t normally get ewcm but I went to bathroom last week and there was a massive blob of it just sat there! I was somewhere in between grossed out, excited and just generally confused! I’m taking this month off a little because I had a cp last month but we dtd that day just in case.

Ok so this is a bit of a weird one but it’s been bugging me for a while now and I just need to ask the question - does anyone else get sharp shooting pains up the bum (literally up the bum) or up the V? Like literally being stabbed up there?

I get them during 2ww and got them when I was pregnant, when I’m about to get AF they tend to be really sharp and up the V, and when I was pregnant I was getting them up the bum,

I’m assuming it might be something to do with movement of the cervix? I’ve had a few little ones up the bum today!

On another note I’m 6DPO and this 2ww is getting to me now hence the symptom spotting and weird questions

SugaryIris, that is a very good sign. I remember that around 6DPO, I had a huge glob there too. But it was "lotiony", I thought it was infertile cm and thought my body was prepping for AF again since my cp was so low as well. But nope, I gy my BFP 6 day later!x
