Wow! I can't believe we are here already, well next week for me. I thought this pregnancy was going to drag but it's going so fast! I reckon it'll slow down now our babies are getting so big and the weather picks up. These past 2 days have been horrendous,I'm dreading giving birth in August xx

I can't believe I'm 28 weeks on Friday! 20-30 weeks are going so fast. From 30 weeks it's going to drag!!! Nervous about 3rd trimester as the only symptom I've had in my 2nd is shit finger nails!!

So the thought of nearly being in the third trimester has lit a firework up my bum!! I’ve suddenly gone spending mad!! We now have a pram, crib and other bits and bobs but I feel like there is still so much to get! And I have no idea how much of anything I’ll need, like how many vests/sleepsuits do you think you need in each size? How many muslin squares? How many sheets and blankets?? Can you tell I’m a complete novice at all this....?!! Any advice much appreciated! Hope you’re all well xx

I'm feeling exactly the same way and I have a feeling we have gone way overboard with the number of sleepsuits/vests/general clothes but we would rather be over-prepared than under-prepared haha I definitely have far too many blankets but I kept seeing beautifully soft ones I couldn't resist and sure I will be needing one too for mommy-daughter nap times xx

Jeez what a busy weekend!! We are renovating and hubby is doing a lot of the works which means I am running round after a toddler who doesn’t stop and being pregnant and it being so hot! Urghhh I need to go back to work for a rest! Hope very one is doing well!! xx

Hope everyone is OK. We’re going to an Nct nearly new sale this weekend. Does anyone have any advice?

Laura - I think you’re right and it’s probably best to have more bits and be prepared then get too few and start panicking when everything’s in the wash!

Mexico - hope you have a more relaxing weekend this week!

Red- I’ve not been to an NCT sale but it sounds good and I hope you manage to pick up some good bits! From
What friends have said you need to ideally get there early and apparently they can get a bit intense with everyone trying to grab the good stuff so maybe be prepared for a bit of combat, haha! Let us know how it goes!

I'm officially here now
I can't believe how quickly the second trimester passed! Hope everyone is ok?
We have gone a bit crazy over the past week or so. We had a few clothes and that was about it. Now we have the pram, crib and car seat
Sleeping is getting worse though, I'm up at least 3 times for a pre and then getting back to sleep is almost impossible

Ps Which crib did you buy? I was looking at the next to me crib last night - they’ve got a new one called ‘dream’ but it’s more expensive, and then there’s the snuzpod...

We’ve been on a mass purchasing spree too, it feels really nice to get some of the big items ticked off the list. We went for the snuzpod crib but can’t really comment on it yet as it’s still in its flat pack until we get the energy to try assembling it! Xx

I really wanted the next to me crib but decided to just get a swinging crib from John Lewis. I splashed out on the iCandy Peach so thought I would save a bit with the crib, especially with them not being in them for very long. I'm hoping the crib will do until the Christmas sales start

Hey all hope everyone is doing well. Saw the midwife yesterday and don’t have to see her again until I’m 34 weeks!! Jeez I’ll only have 6ish weeks left! Crazy! Xx
