August 2017 babies!

Sorry to hear of your disappointment Lunababy. That sounds so frustrating.
Seems to happen quite a lot. Did they give a reason why it was cancelled. Such short notice??

Xx

Hugs to those of you feeling a bit down or frustrated,
PeanutButter  Lunababy

Wow congrats JillMcCoy!!! :blue:

Elspeth how wonderful, I have also started to feel some movement in the last few days :) xx

H4R I hope you're right and I'm part of the pink movement. Most importantly I need to look back and see what I predicted for misscharli and Jill to see if I was wrong or not! Can't believe all boys so far!

I've had a terrible day, migraine since yesterday so got a doctor's appointment and he gave me co-codamol to try to help. I've taken it before no problem but took it as soon as I got home and within twenty minutes I get dizzy, light headed and kind of numb. A hour later I was violently sick and was sick again about half an hour ago. Don't know if it's the co-codamol that caused it or the migraine but I feel awful and have the two children on my own right til bed time as my partner is working late :(

Loving the pram chat! With my first we knew we weren't planning to wait long to have a second so we wanted a pram that would become a double when we needed it. We both agreed we didn't like 'stacking variety' and preferred side by side which limited our options. Our parents each gave us £500 so basically we ended up blowing the lot on the Bugaboo Donkey. I loved it when I tried it and spent months deciding but just couldn't see past it. Have never regretted it and it's of course still going strong and has been a very wise choice with how close we've ended up having the children. At the moment I have it with just the one seat and basket by the side and a buggy board for my daughter when she gets too tired to walk x

Bugaboo donkey currently!

Hello all, wow lots of boys, congratulations everyone there are too many people to name! I half want to find out to join in now haha!

We ordered our pram last night at a mum to be event as there was 10% off plus a free car seat and few other bits, we went for an icandy too, didn't plan to spend so much but it felt so solid compared to the others and was so easy to use/fold down. The biggest selling point was the fact that it'd only cost £40 to get the adapter to swap it to a tandem pram, and you get both the carrycot & pram so you wouldn't need a second seat if the babies were so close together. I can't wait to get it in July, went for navy so it'd work for both a boy & girl :)

I started antenatal yoga and aqua aerobics this week too, I'd recommend them to everyone!

Thank you. No reason given. The woman who called me didn't know.

I hope you feel better soon Rose83.

I do really like the iCandy pram. I also like the egg too. Has anyone tried it?

Yes we tried both the Egg & iCandy, they were both nice but I preferred the icandy to push and it was a little more flexible with what it did, we went for the icandy peach

Congratulations MissCharli & JillMccoy Team Blue :)

So glad others have got prs already too. Thought we were way early when it came yesterday. Have gone for the Janè trider as we do alot of walking. Got a couple of outfits too. Think im gonna be all ready to go at 20 weeks at this rate!!

Wow all baby boys!!!
Congratulations Charli and Jill so pleased your team blue too!

And lots of you liking the icandy too...
Be interesting to see how we all get on with them, mummyto be which icandy did you get are they all adaptable to tandem do you know?

Ahh well done on starting aqua & yoga good time to start I think before getting bigger...
I'm really busy for the next month so may have to be April I look at starting a class

My poor Nan has passed away so I'm traveling back for funeral to support my mum...
She's coping fantastic so hopefully we can focus on our new life growing instead of being upset no good getting stressed and upset when pregnant I'm always thinking to just relax

All these things part of getting older good and bad reminds me to make the most of everything and everyone and the time we have

I've had no midwife appointment think I best phone tomorrow and try to arrange but il be over 18weeks when I get chance to see her now...

Looking forward to more gender reveals and pram pics etc xxx

Ah the prams all look good. I have literally no idea about prams and find it all so confusing!! The mother in law is buying it for us, so that makes it a bit easier but don't want to take the mick either!

Sorry to hear that Prrfect :(

I should look into classes too, though they all seem to be when I'm at work! There is a free one at my local children's centre which is in the evening, but I'm a bit of a wuss about going on my own to these things haha. A bit shy!

I have bought a few... (maybe more haa) things today, on top of what I already had. Got an Amazon baby list going too now, I've stuck some of the more expensive things on there in the hope that my dad might buy them  I really want a next to me but not sure I can justify the cost!

I'm sorry for your loss Prrfect, sending lots of love to you and your family. You are definitely right about focusing on the new life, I'm sure she would want you to do the same.

I agree, the older you get you realise how lucky you are and to make the most of everything you've got, I especially feel that with being pregnant as I know so many people who are trying for a baby with no success yet.

We tried the icandy peach and apple 2 pear which both convert to tandem, however found out that they are discontinuing the apple 2 pear when the orange is launched this month. The apple 2 pear was much cheaper but we didn't want to be stuck in a few years time for spares so went for the peach, it was on an amazing offer otherwise I think we'd have been a bit more reluctant to order it now!

Misscharli I really want a Chicco next 2 me too but they're so expensive and everyone I speak to has said don't bother as they grow out of them so soon, I keep looking on eBay though! What is everyone else going to do with regards to the baby sleeping in your room? A few people have mentioned pram carrycots but I'm not sure how I feel about that yet!

There is a lot of team blue happening- congratulations misscharli and JillMccoy. We are due some pink news now!

I've brought a few things, changing table and wardrobe from eBay, a few outfits and a breath monitor.

Pram wise I can't choose between the icandy and the egg, we are going to the baby show in May so will decide there depending on who has the best offer.

Lunababy- that's so frustrating, can they fit you in any earlier?

Prrrfect- I am so sorry for your loss x

Loves to all x

So sorry to hear about your nan prrfect. Hope the weekend isn't too difficult for you xx

Feeling better today after being sick again last night. I tried halving my painkiller and that helped my head and didn't make me ill.

Excuse the mess in the background but I thought I'd do a bump picture - 3rd baby means I'm pretty big for 15 weeks tomorrow! X

Oh Prrrfect honey :( I'm so sorry :( Sending you and your family so many hugs

Pleased to hear you are feeling a bit better today Rose, I hope that's the end of it cause it must have been horrific and really tough also having the kids on your own whilst feeling so bad :hugs: Awww love your bump! :bump:

Still feeling queasy and tired and I've been having intense groin pain this week (possible SPD/pelvic pain sign? Only felt this much later, towards the end of my last pregnancy, so I hope it doesn't get worse! as I already feel it when I walk, getting up from sitting down, turning side when I lie in bed, putting socks/trousers on etc!)

Any other mummy ever had this? ^^

Lots of housework to do around the whole house this weekend (struggling to do it, even with hubby's help I still find it tough) as I have relatives visiting Sunday evening to stay over with us for a week.

Have a good weekend everyone, lots of love to all of you xx

H4R yep I've had it all and I already have some pains again too. First pregnancy I went to physio and they told me to 'keep my knees together' when doing things - I told them it was a bit late for that lol! But yes you are supposed to get out of the car like royalty or a celebrity and swivel out with your knees together and the same in bed to avoid the strains we put in ourselves otherwise x

Hoping4rainbow I've had groin pain the last few weeks. It's worse in evenings, I'm off to a pregnancy massage today so was planning on asking about it. I'll let you know what she says. X I've also been getting a weird numb left leg after standing up a while.

We got a Doppler last night and heard the baby's heartbeat, it took a while to find and I had a full bladder so I'm not going to worry if I don't get it every time.

Happy Saturday my lovelies xx

Hoping4rainbow- thank you x she also said the knees together thing a we are princesses . She did suggest if planning on using a birthding ball to start gently (no bouncing) rotating hips when sitting on it. Or when laying on the bed - gentle round movements. Xx
