My gender scan is Friday at 1000, so not long now!! I think it will be a boy also

I have bought some stuff, but have been waiting until I know the flavour to buy more. I bought the cutest hungry caterpillar babygrow:

The bigger mother care stores have fantastic themed grows etc
R2D2, superman, Toy story, Denis the menace, mr men, turtles and muppets to name a few
Some of the more colourful clothes and grows x

Congratulations prrfect! You broke my streak of guessing right though! In my gender guess thread someone thinks they can see a girl nub in mine so I'm back to having convinced myself it's a girl but I can't wait til the 15th when I find out! X

I have stuff I bought when I was preg with second mc. Some baby grrows, a tiny white cardigan it's so cute!
I have a changing table, it was on offer for £20 from 80 or 100 so go that.
Only bought a baby grow set this pregnancy, was £15 but was lovely.
Don't think I'm gonna buy big stuff until 20+ weeks lol x

I got the blue pram I wanted for my boy!!

Hubby won't let us buy a color pram! Though I am happy for just a black one. It's so exciting seeing all this baby stuff lol.

For some reason I need to go for another dating scan at my new hospital. Also have a scan to check bleed on the same day?! Like 2 hours apart :/ think I'll just go to one. Trying to convince hubby to take me to a gender scan (he said wait until NHS 16W scan) but want one as soon as I turn 16 weeks xD x

Yes it is Spotted it and had to buy it! I love the more interesting stuff. Girls clothes seem to be so pink Don't like pink! Primark actually had navy girls clothes though, so will definitely be going back if it is a girl tomorrow!

Sooo my consultant appointment wasn't actually a consultant appointment, it was just with a healthy lifestyle midwife cos apparently I'm not high risk enough (yaay). I have to do a glucose test (boo) and I get an extra scan at 34 weeks (yay!). She was really lovely, it was a bit patronising with all the food stuff but she recognised that I had already lost weight so didn't push it at all.

She also let me listen to the heartbeat again very very briefly, and I managed to record it on my phone this time. Can only hear it for about 7 secs before baby moves haha.

Now onto my scan tomorrow morning! V excited

That's really silly PB, why won't they just do it all in one scan?? Seems a waste of their time and money, as well as yours!

Yeah I would, once they realise I think they might agree! The midwife I saw earlier said that I didn't need to go on Monday because she could have done it all (which I did wonder at tbh). But I don't mind having more time off work and hearing the hb twice

I was 16weeks 4days and I was the same I was like if I'm going to pay for early gender scan it needs to be now instead of waiting for 20 week NHS scan but also I said to hubby it's not to find out the sex and they don't give guarantee, hehe

I've just bought my pram and I'm made up

ahh my hubby was the same as it is blue but a duck egg type blue so we will see could keep it for girl or could just buy new carry cot and upright for the frame if we had a girl next...

Is that why he likes you to buy black?
I'm just assuming!

Ahh just seen congrats peanut butter on booking gender scan ahh it's too exciting!!!

Charli I'm the same I think the pink for girls can get a bit too much!!
I couldn't have a pink pram or paint a room pink!
Sorry to anyone who's done either it's just not my thing..

I like white with some subtle pink bits here and there looks fresh...

I'm saying all this and I've just bought a blue pram for my boy..
but blues not so sickly as pink haha!!

I'm so excited for you finding out- enjoy!
