Sounds like a lovely nye. I've only just woken up, Monday will be a killer now I'm used to these lie ins. I'm off shopping in a minute, get a few nice bits in for tonight. Not really sure how it's going to be yet, OH was on call for NYE 3 years ago and had no calls at all, so hoping for the same thing. If not it'll be me, myself and I! If it looks like he'll be out for midnight, I'll go with him so we can see in 2014 together. With a baby and a wedding to look forward to, it's bloody exciting!
On a pregnancy related note, I need a bagel!!! Badly! Xx

Hi ladies! Been AWOL for a bit, hope you've all had a lovely Christmas.
Can't believe how quick the time is going now! Or how much money bubba is costing us already... Today we ordered nursery furniture, exciting but pricey!
And our pushchair, gone for the silver cross wayfarer, can't wait to be pushing little one around in it!

we did that shop on Friday, expensive is not the word! lol we also got the wayfarer, what colour did you go for?

Lynne - we got engaged last new year's eve and the wedding will be 29th December 2014. Still a year away really but it makes this coming year all the more exciting. Xx

The venue has been booked since last February, love a bit of organising! It's a hall, so all in one venue which has made it easier.
I've put on so much weight, actually dreading getting on the scales after bubs is here. But like you say Naomi, it's the extra incentive.
The proposal was very my OH, laid back. We ended up staying in last year at the last minute, got quite tipsy and we were making homemade pizza at 1am, OH said "one day I'm going to marry you", I had my back to him and said that he'd need time to work on his proposal. When I turned around he was down on one knee with a ring. Technically he didn't ask! The ring was the big thing to me, I'd always wanted my grandma's aquamaribe ring resetting in white gold, he'd done it in platinum with diamands on the band. That's about as romantic as he's ever been ha! xx

Uh Danielle thats a great proposal. Similar to mine-we were in bed with a mcds breakfast and as hubby was unpacking the food he unpacked my engagement ring!
Im just chilling on the couch with a coffee after cleaning the bathroom and hubby has made the steak pie and is now walking the dog to tire him out so we can get peace tonight! X

I just wanted to take this opportunity to say I hope all you lovely ladies have a great night tonight bringing in the new year. 2014 is going to be a fabulous year for us all and I can't wait for it to get here.
After having 3 miscarriages I never thought I would get this far in my pregnancy and I feel totally blessed that our little one I only a few months away from arriving.
