In wonder of you will be the first April mummy then with another early one!! X

Hi ladies! Been AWOL for a bit, hope you've all had a lovely Christmas.
Can't believe how quick the time is going now! Or how much money bubba is costing us already... Today we ordered nursery furniture, exciting but pricey!
And our pushchair, gone for the silver cross wayfarer, can't wait to be pushing little one around in it!

we did that shop on Friday, expensive is not the word! lol we also got the wayfarer, what colour did you go for?

We ummed & aahed but went for the black in the end, the shop we bought it from had a deal which included matching bag & seat liner so I can indulge my love of pink with accessories & the bright raspberry seat liner - I loooove the raspberry colour but hoping to get max use out of it so didn't want it too girly just in case!
What colour have you got? I love the shiny silver part in the middle of the handle, it's so easy to collapse/set up too which is good as I'm very cackhanded!
Happy 2014 everybody!!

I got the raspberry! Was going down the black route, then purple and it was my OH who convinced me on the pink :) it is so easy to put up and down, that's part of what I liked about it

Loving all the shopping talk. We've just cleared the spare room, only got baby things in there now. Decided where all the furniture is going and once we've put stuff in the attic we're going to start painting. X

I'm desperate to start washing clothes ready but I know it's way too early, so I opted for paint. Did some in the kitchen last night randomly. Can't do anything in the nursery until we get a charity shop to pick up some furniture and take some stuff to the tip. Just really feeling the urge to get started but feeling a bit run down so I can only do little bits at a time

I've just washed everything we have. I'm packing baby's hospital bag now whilst I can be bothered.

Happy v day to people who've had then and I missed it.

Been under the radar for a bit, suffering from a horrid cold and pain that I was hoping would go away with the school holidays. One emergency referral to the physio later and I've been diagnosed with hypermobility syndrome, chronic spd and chronic sacroiliac joint dysfunction. Have crutches (which I have decorated with ribbon!) and a support band thing that likes to keep rolling down. School starts on Friday with a training day and have to see how I go but may have to be signed off work. Plus I have to break the news to my line manager, who can be very nice, but can also be very unbelieving. After my consultant appointment it took her nearly a week of me asking for a meeting before she'd sit down and look at my risk assessment again, ans it felt then like the results I get, and the need to keep me getting those results, was more important than my health, but that she wasn't really prepared to make any changes on just my say so that I needed it. Oh well.

Hope you've all had fabulous Christmases and lovely new year's too xxx

Sorry to hear you've been struggling Mrs Pod :(
Make sure you don't over do it. I'm sure the crutches will convince your line manager!
Hope you feel brighter soon. Xx

They're a reminder for me too, that I can't do everything I'd normally be doing! It does take more than this to get me down, aandmy little one is absolutely worth it :)

Can't believe it's my v day on saturday, and we're all graduating to tri 3... eek!

I too am suffering terrible pain which did subside with the Xmas break however last night I wore heels and am in agony today. If I put weight on my left foot when getting up I get pain in my pubic area and left buttock and I can hardly walk. It's fine once I get going though. Getting up for the loo is agony and I need to hold onto things. I feel I would benefit from crutches at night time.

Evening all
Mrs pod I hope you feel better.
I think I missed v days today so congratulations to you ladies! My head is mince! Just back from a lovely dinner at my grans and now in the bath before going to watch Eastenders then Harry Potter! The tree will come down tomorrow. I walked to my grans, only 25 minutes but I got soaked and now im frozen!
So whilst bump and I are chilling on the couch, il get the laptop on and make a start on my lists!
Xx

Oh blanco, I feel for you hun. Mine is both sides but by mid morning I'm feeling it more on my right side. Walking is really challenging, stairs are a big issue (and I live in a top floor flat), getting in and out the shower too. Sitting, standing (I can stand for as long as it takes to peel one potato!), walking... it's all horrid so work is going to be fun! The crutches do help, both by taking weight off (I was holding onto things as well) and by reminding me and others that I can't do as much. I'd go to the gp if I were you and ask for a physio referral. I think I've figured out the support, and have a nexcare back support too that I wear.

Physio did say gentle warmth (wheat bag/hot water bottle) is fine as long as it's not boiling hot, and need to sit with hips level to or slightly above knees and feet flat on floor. Will see if I can find a suitable chair at school on friday...

Take care xx

Sorry to hear that mrs pod! I'm suffering with it but not as bad as you yet, been referred to physio but totally feel your pain with the stairs were top floor too so 2 flights of stairs every day!

We took our tree and Xmas decs down today all away for another year how different it will be when they're next out!

I've been a little worried about bubs as she's gone very quiet over the last few days but had a few proper kicks again earlier but nothing since - should I be worried??

I wouldn't worry too much dizzy, I think it's from 28 weeks we have to take note. My little one was really quiet Monday and Tuesday, but then today they've been very active. I had a cushion on my belly and when baby kicked it knocked it off. I'm thinking growth spurt as I'm a lot hungrier this past few days.
Craving meat and salt badly.

Just out of interest where is everyone carrying?
Just been looking at my bump and whilst I've gained weight, from the front I still go in at the waist (a bit, not as much as normal ha) and I'm obviously carrying it all at the front as side on I look fairly rotund!

Ok glad I'm not the only one who's had quiet days then - I'm tempted to buy a Doppler but don't know if that would actually make me worse and worry more?!

I feel like I'm just carrying at the front as I don't feel my sides are any bigger but as I had a bit of padding there before anyway i think bump is just behind it haha! I don't think I'm as big as some other girls at similar stages - (today I just feel fat not pregnant!!)

Aw sorry to hear theres a few of you suffering.... MrsP don't let work make you feel guilty, and definitely don't over do it.

Danielle I'm carrying mainly at the front too I think - don't really look pregnant from the back I think.

I just sneezed and wet myself again :-( that's the third time now!!!! Damnit!! Xxx

Meat and salt says boy of you believe the old wives tales I am carrying quite low and I think quite round compared to with my girls I was wide haha. But my face is fat and round like my other two so who knows with me .. We are team yellow xx
