****** April Mummies!!!! ******

Yeh, you just need to make sure whoever doing it has the proper qualification. There's a lady who works in my area and does home massages :-) apparently it's amazing! Xxx

Theres a place near me that dies pregnancy massage...she also teaches labour massage to help with first stage pain. Anyone heard of/tried anything like that? I.e. is it worth my money? :-)

Enjoy ur well deserved post-scan massage :-)

Aw man Lynne your display pic is making me crave a drink!!! Lol. Christmas will be tough this year!! Xxx

I know! Im going to a cocktail nite tomorrow night and its going to kill me!
X

Argh that would kill me too!! Non alcoholic cocktails just aren't quite the same!!

Haha I'm sounding like an alcoholic!! I'm not even a heavy drinker usually, but like the odd tipple at the weekends etc! Xxx

Morning ladies,

It's FRIDAY :)

I had a pregnancy massage last weekend and it was amazing - the place I use offers you a 'bump bag' to lie on when you're getting it. It's a massive bean bag with a hole for you bump so you can lie flat! It was so relaxing :) xxx

That does indeed sound amazing Douglasxox! I can't wait til I can go get one. Slipped a disc ten years agi when only 17 so I just KNOW I am going to have back problems later on when bump is huge (I'm relatively short as well 5'2.5" and not much space between ribs and pelvis so gonna stick out heaps!) So I am saving up all my massages for when I will truly need them. I don't think I ever want to stop being pregnant...the OH keeps telling me to go get any massage I want and he normally grumbles if I spy a groupon deal ;)

I thought the labour massage lessons seemed a good idea...apparently then your OH can help you get through those contractions. Will have to try her out with a massage first and see how that goes :) Maybe I will put it in as a separate thread in tri3 to see if theres anyone with experience/heard of labour massage lessons :)

Hope you all have a fun Friday and are looking forward to the weekend ! Enjoy your coktail - I had a phoney one at TGI's Wed night, still nice but lacked a little something ;)

Remember when you first got your BFP and you were convinced it was a hoax and AF was going to come at any point. And it was all a mistake and you were going to feel very silly for getting excited, and then you gradually realised that you are actually pregnant?

Does anybody still get that fear? I was laying thinking about my 20 week scan last night and got struck with this horror that I'm not actually pregnant and when I get there, they are going to scan me and shout at me for wasting their time cause there is no baby.
And this is AFTER my 12 scan where we saw the baby. A part of me is like, it must have been a trick of the light?

I get moments like that Tommo. I wish we all had windows in our bellies!

I still cant quite believe i have a tiny human growing inside me. Its still very surreal

It will always be like that. My oldest is 10 and I look at her and think wow I made you. It happens at at the proud moments too it's amazing xx

Thank god I'm not the only one.
I barely batted an eye when I was pregnant with my son! Not used to feeling like this lol x
- a window would be brill!

Tommo - I was just like that in my last pregnancy! Didn't really relax until I was feeling movements everyday, and even then you worry is it enough movement, is it too much movement!! I'm much more relaxed this time and if I do get a moment of doubt I just get my doppler out. I have quite a decent bump already this time which is making it a bit more real too! I didn't start showing till nearly 20 wks last time!

I am awful for sitting all emotional looking at my daughter and thinking "I had you inside me for 9 months!". She's just started walking this week and is turning 1 next month so I am an emotional wreck at the moment!xx

I'm like that even when I'm not pregnant lol the kids say right mum don't be crying at my concert/football lol xx

Awww i hope I'm like that all of my children's lives. I'd rather be a little too soft than a little too hard!

Oh my I'm in heaven!! Just had a huge craving moment and I've ate a custard slice, chopped pineapple, strawberries, melon and a lemon meringue tart ( checked it's made with egg white powder which is pasturised) and I feel very please with myself haha though my love handles don't think that lol xx

OMG ladies I feel so emotional tonight, hormones!

Anyone got anything exciting planned for the weekend?
