Well I woke up yesterday morning and decided I wanted to go home back to NI for a few days. 4.5hr journey later and I was waiting to get on the boat (I live in England) C was so excited and we spent most of the journey in the soft play. I felt so queasy though and I don't normally get seasick. Just here til Sunday but its always nice to come home and get looked after by your mummy

Well im 17 weeks today and im exhausted this morning. Iv posted my bump but please ignore the mess in the background as this is going to be the nursery which is currently the spare bedroom which gets used for me to get ready in and to dump the washing!

I keep waiting til im at 'bump' stage not just chubby before I take one haha!

Did the bepanthan cream help? Mine are starting to get sore again...doesn't help that my kitten knows exactly where to climb on u with her itty bitty paws!!

Glad to hear im not alone in having a cot already...the other half had us ordering furniture a fortnight ago - he just doesn't worry lucky him!

I get those pains too...I now hate sneezing!!! If im in bed and sneeze or cough I know its gonna b sore! But I try to see it as a gd thing...growth is gd for baby

thanks for reply re telling work ive made a meeting with my manager for next fri the 8th to tell them (theyrr in a diff office so im going up there for a facetoface rather than over the phone.

Yup - we bought hodge podge range so we're going a pale base colour and picking a simple design of leaves from hodge podge range to add some stencils on the walls...just at the stage of pivking from all the dulux testers! My other half is very keen to feel organised (poor soul is terrified he doesnt know what to do with a baby!). Anyone else?!

That happened with me in my last pregnancy. Specifically on one side, where it just burned like it was on fire. I told the midwife and she looked at me like I had two heads and said "nipple pain is usually cause by breastfeeding after the baby is born". I was like, "oh, I must be wrong then. It isn't really sore, my mistake."

Nipple cream/Vaseline worked as well as wearing breast pads so my bra didn't rub.

Aw sounds nice! Haven't heard of that range but might check it out!!

We are thinking pale base colour too, and my dad really wants to paint a mural on the wall, bless him. Not sure of what yet. He painted teddy beddy byes on my nursery wall when I was a baby, and it was fab. Xxx

Oh god, there seems to be about a million kids out trick or treating.... It's our first Halloween in this house so wasn't sure how many we'd get. Got 7 bags of sweets which I thought would be plenty but we are nearly all out!!! Wondering if I can get away with fruit/crackers/toast as alternatives!!! Xxx

Iv been lucky and only had 3 kids at the door. However I have closed the blinds and curtains! But that doesn't usually stop them. I forgot the most important thing I bought today-60 pounds worth of smash box make up paid for with my boots advantage points!
