My mums bday is on Xmas day... she hates having to share it with everyone celebrating Xmas I’m sure she’d hate it if I had an Xmas baby too!

Hmmm.. never really thought of it like that! I bet it’s not great having your birthday on Christmas Day is it. Although, I’m going to have to be selfish with this one because if I do get my BFP an my ovulation am timing is correct. Due date would be Christmas Eve! I did have my last two 3 an half weeks and two weeks early so due dates aren’t really relevant for me haha.

Still be a lovely present for you and your DH 😆

I’m sure every cycle the tww gets longer! I think I’m about 3dpo and already getting impatient!!

This is my first 2ww and I never realised 2 weeks could drag so much, 8dpo and it’s driving me insane and I feel I’ve become obsessed. Also feeling I am definately going to be out now I’ve done more reading about what to expect with ttc with pcos 😞

Yup it's so long. I'm in my 16th tww and it never gets any easier! Good luck!

Hi girls I'm on an emotional rollercoaster as I imagine most of you girls are also! I was originally in the March testing but I have irregular periods and I am now thinking this is going to be a longer cycle so I will be testing in April now. Period has not shown and I was going to test 1st April but I didn't manage to get a test so will now be 2nd of April. I have been crying all night and my husband is convinced this is it but I think it might just be the stress of it all xxxx

Yep i really don’t care when my due date is, i just wish this tww would hurry up. Half way through today... I’m sure time stands still in the tww!!

I'm waiting for my AF today. Usually comes early hours but all I have is pain the last three days. Ugh.

I am officially way too impatient to wait until Friday to test, DH has ordered a FRER to be delivered tomorrow so we will see what Tuesday Morning has to say. Not feeling hopeful. I have been feeling constipated, nauseous, crampy and shattered for days but today I feel normal so not feeling hopeful at all

Hopefully these are good signs for you... I’m 7dpo and literally fighting the urge to test already even though I know it’s too early to test! Normally I get spotting anytime from 5dpo, I haven’t yet and I’m hiping it’s a good sign!

I’m the same, I’ve convinced myself it’s not our month so I don’t get upset when AF comes but feel down in the dumps like I’ve had that result already. I woke up briefly in the night feeling a bit nauseous but didn’t last long and this morning I am a bit crampy on my right side, I can’t tell if it feels like AF on its way early, I’m not sure but generally feeling ok although stupidly sensitive, was welling up watching a kids program on tele this morning!! Not sure why it was on we don’t have any kids lol! Took a cheap test that I had in the cupboard, no idea why as its not an early response sensitive one, that’s on its way in the post, just think I needed to POAS!!

Silly question but how do you decide exactly what date you're going to test and do you stick to it or end up testing earlier?
Once AF arrives (due yesterday but I am sometimes a day or two late or early) this will be my first cycle trying, so will be due AF again around the end of the month?

Hi Donna, was scanning (stalking) through the posts and noticed that your post got missed.

Most people decide the date for testing based on when their period is due. I personally always planned it a day or 2 later cuz I was regular and saved me the test or getting my hopes up.

As to testing earlier it just depends how impatient you get and if you cave haha

Also for the ladies saying about expensive tests.. Home bargains does 2 for 99p and I got my bfp on them. They are pink dye and sensitive and can be good for wee cheapy poas addictions haha

Thank you Laura, yes I've seen the home bargains tests. In fact I've ended up using one today as my period is 4 days late BFN though. So doesn't look like I'll be testing until May now depending on when AF decides to show up. Just playing a waiting game now.
