Hey girls so for the first time in forever I have the most positive opk ever today. I no with my body that it could be gearing up but not actually ovulate but I would like to join in if u don't mind? Can I have the 12th April ironically this is the day after my edd with mmc x

I'm just going to complain here for a bit so bear with me haha. I don't know what kinda games my body is playing at. After my weird "period" (brown discharge with a small bit of actual blood) I should be at CD 7-9ish. I have had major cramps these last two days that I thought must be Ov cramps. Though they're too painful, much more like PMS cramps, and it's over a week too early to be ov cramps (usually ovulate CD17ish)!! Now my boobs hurt. Am I going to have a real but very late period now? Am I ovulating super early? Was the BFN a week ago a lie? Who knows...

Took another test this morning, actually 3 of them. All were negative, so I guess those blue dye tests are liars!!

In regards to you, do you have regular periods? I would, for fun, take a PT. Why not? I've done that before when my period was so weird and light and wasn't even sure if it was the real thing. Of course it was negative, but gave me a piece of mind. You could be ovulating earlier than normal. Our bodies do strange things sometimes. Do you use OPK's?

No I haven't used OPKs yet because I can tell when I ovulate by EWCM/cramps. Might start using OPKs next cycle though, can't hurt

Think I'm at 10dpo at the moment, not been tracking so no idea.

Had some aches on my left hand side over the last day or so. Nothing else interesting though!

I think that I'll be out this month but the laid back approach has been so much nicer!

You are so lucky you can tell when you ovulate! I sure can't. I love the cheap OPK tests though, it's the only test I get to see a positive every month! haha

Well I am in the tww now for the 16th time. I am working all Easter wknd as I'm onncall again ( did xmas and now this grrr) anyway I really need to not symptom spot as last cycle I actually thought I had IB 5dpo and turned in to random brown bleeding for days so I just cant do it to myself. No doubt I am be back here on 9th to say I am out. ... good luck everyone testing !

Alexis it really does sound like you had a chemical last month, some women are more fertile afterwards so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Thanks for the replies everybody. I felt it once this morning before I got out of bed and nothing since. I’ve been trying since October 2016 and I tell myself every month that I’m not going to symptom spot anymore...until something new comes along! I’ll keep you updated either way x

I should have know after 20 cycles of this...ofc I’m not pregnant af arrived today. Happy Easter to me never thought I’d still be trying a year and half after starting ttc. I never learn either, every month, I get my hopes up, imagining being pregnant, just sitting myself up for disappointment.
Hope everyone else has better luck than me this month xx

Poor you, I feel for you. I can't imagine having waited that long. I am worried about ttc and it never happening, since I'm getting older now.
My AF is on its way, I know from the horrid symptoms.

Thanks I think it was as well as thats never happened to me before. I am not getting my hopes up. We have one more try before our holiday. Unfortunately the early bleeding meant my af came earlier and now I will get af when I am away ...rubbish !!

I am 3dpo today so ages to wait. My chin and surrounding skin has broke out in spots its horrible I think its the progesterone or oestrogen surge that does it. I got a positve opk on monday eve and we dtd Mon tue & Wed . Not sure if that's too late. ( we did dtd about 4 or 5 days before positive opk but was just for fun ) The opk was negative by Wednesday morning. Anyway I will keep hoping and sebding everyone baby dust for this month. Come on April bring me my bfp!!

Hi everyone,

Silly question but how do you decide exactly what date you're going to test and do you stick to it or end up testing earlier?
Once AF arrives (due yesterday but I am sometimes a day or two late or early) this will be my first cycle trying, so will be due AF again around the end of the month?

This is my first 2ww and I never realised 2 weeks could drag so much, 8dpo and it’s driving me insane and I feel I’ve become obsessed. Also feeling I am definately going to be out now I’ve done more reading about what to expect with ttc with pcos 😞
