WTT because of university, I graduate in May then straight into setting up my own business. It's quite ambitious of me I know, but the two things I want more than anything is my own company and a little baby. eek .. guess I'll have to put my new puppy on hold lol x x

WTT because of my upcoming wedding in April, but we aren't really waiting, we're just not 'actively' TTC. We just thought we'd let nature run its course and see what happens.

WTT as O/h goes to Afghanistan in a months time so it'll be when he comes back. Off the pill now giving my bod plenty of time to get back to normal.

I am waiting to try because I haven't convinced my husband yet to try and get a second one. If I do convince him I would like to try and get pregnant in July this year since my baby boy is only 7 months now and I want to wait until his 1st birthday.

Hi all just posted on the newbie thread.

I am WTT because we have a big holiday in August and a wedding coming up in Sept. Also my OH though dying to have kids, has an element of the Peter Pan about him in that he thinks we have years left Eh Im 31! So after a bit of discussion over the last few weeks we decided that my pill prescription runs out the end of Oct so we'll start trying then

I've read through all the posts here and noticed that a couple of you are waiting for your OH to be ready. Its so annoying hanging around waiting for them to be ready. I dont think men are EVER ready to have a child.

My OH seems to think we have all the time in the world. I had AF problems and it took 2 years to get pregnant only to go on to miscarry. From 25 the condition of our eggs deteoriates (sp?) and men just dont seem to get that. They can have kids into their 60s, us women cant.

Both myself and my husband have January birthdays and they are the worst so i'm aiming to have a April to August baby.

I was waiting until Jude slept through the night..... am still waiting and he is 15 mnths also he was such a handful that it just would not have been fair to have another one, for him or the next one. Jude is easier now and sleeps through occassionally but have a supportive oh so we cracking on now xxx

I’m Heather. 21 in Feb. my fiancé Jason is 24 in Dec. We did have a plan TTC in September after Jason’s sisters wedding; as I am a bridesmaid and didn’t want to be the blushing chubby bridesmaid!
The only reason why plans are on hold was because I got admitted into hospital on my birthday of this year and went into a Diabetic Coma, contracted pneumonia and when I woke up for the Coma I got a blood clot in my lung and I felt gutted because I knew I would have my plans on hold even longer and it’s looking like the end of the year or even till the end of my birthday (14th Feb).
I know I may seem selfish and should be grateful that I’m still here and living and children should be at the back of my mind because I have the ability of carrying a child, but all my friends and family friends are having children right now.
Good luck to every parent-to-be and bumpo though

It's not selfish at all. All my friends are having babies at the moment so i'd be gutted if i missed the boat as i'd like them to be the same age.
