_>•~*X*~July 2015 Mummies-to-be!!!~*X*~•<_

Haha, there is so much to think about as time goes on.

Sure we'll all make a few mistakes here and there. I'll just be on the phone to my mum every 3 minutes in the first few weeks probably.x

I feel like I'm
Running out of time!

Il buy a couple then and trial and error I guess! Thanks for the link! Seems to make sense considering all the sleep bags I have come across lately have been 2.5! Thank you for the info!

X

Glad your feeling better Lola
I'm hoping for another restful nights sleep again tonight fingers crossed

Oh is going out tonight for a few hours so I'm going to get all cleared up downstairs then all being we'll be in bed for just after 9 lol

I used blankets and cellular blankets with first lo and we soon moved on to sleeping bags we loved them stopped lo from moving about so much and he settled really well in them too
Think he felt secure and snug in them

We had the 2.5 togs and 1 togs he was a hot baby so the 2.5s didn't come in till winter

How is everyone doing this evening?

I'm looking at a little wheelie case for the hospital going to grab one from argos tomorrow exciting
Also off to boots to get my baby bits for hospital and home

Lacey what was it you said you would start taking a short time before labour it's meant to help with tears or preventing them? I can't remember for the life of me what it was

Also on the hunt for my exercise balll, since we moved I can't find a thing...sigh xx

I've officially hit 1 stone of weight gain! According to my scales at home anyway, maybe the midwife's will be a bit kinder.
I don't think I look a stone heavier though so hopefully it's mainly bump.

Hospital bags, eeek! That makes things very real.x

Is it just me or do you feel like we are ages away from having a baby?

I can feel it, see it, I'm getting bigger, I have a house full of baby stuff I just can't really believe it's happening? Is this normal? I feel so detached, not from the baby but from it really happening?

Your not alone BonzE, I feel exactly the same. Doesn't seem real! Xx

I'm exactly the same.
Even though I'm currently watching my tummy move I still can't get my head around the fact it's a real little person and it'll be here soon.
It won't seem real to me until baby is in my arms.x

I feel the same. Although it's constantly on my mind and in my thoughts and conversations it still does feel completely real! I just can't wait until July and baby is finally here. Not that I'm wishing my life away, but hurry up!! I just can't wait! Bought some nappies this evening!! Along with a prezzy for OH. I just want to get into our house so I can start washing clothes and getting all the baby stuff ready!! I've loved having some special time with OH though!! I feel like in totally forgetting something though-just can't put my finger on it!!x

Off for a nice long soak and then bed for me praying heartburn stays away as I cannot take anything for it after 10pm :( only sips of water

Oooo congrats twinkle we made it to DDD day I didn't even realise till I read your post!

While I was in sorting babies room ive made a list of what I have im sure I'm missing things off it :/

That's a really handy list Angela. Hope they get dished out at my hospital.

Just noticed you're quite near me. X

I hope it may help a few of you ladies that's why when I seen you all on about togs ect I thought I'm sure I have a list somewhere :)

Oh really where abouts are you
from ?? If you don't mind me asking :)

Evening Primrose Oil. Comes as like a gel capsule. Can swallow them in the morning to generally help soften all that down below stuff an help prevent tearing, or you can be brave and poke one up outside the baby's front door each night. Either from 36 weeks. I just put one up most nights (terrible memory and forgot half the time), and had a small graze. No tearing, no stitches, just the equivalent of a small friction burn.
Already got a pot of capsules for in ten weeks time ().
Just best in mind if you're going the non-oral route, the capsule will dissolve over night and some oil will leak out. Knickers are needed as it's kinda sticky.
I'll take that over a rip to the asshole any day, though.

Sleeping bags: can be used from birth as long as baby's head doesn't fit through the neck hole.
Blankets are not tog-rated, so there's that...

DD will be in bags, or vest/sleep suit with no cover. Blankets are fine during the day when you're awake, but I did all the feet-to-foot, firmly tucked in stuff with DS, and he still ended up under one one night. Luckily he snuffled loud enough to wake me, and I clicked what he'd done and ripped the blanket off him. He was bagged without exception then, until he was over a year old. He also had times when he slept in just a best in the middle of winter, so if she's anything like her brother, DD will have neither for months. Still got a couple bags for night, and a couple blankets for day.

Do those pelvic exercises, ladies ;) xx

Or, what Angela said :)

BonzE, it's my second and it doesn't seem real. Totally natural hon xx

:I was very lucky with my DD I only had a slight graze handy info there lacy thank you might need to buy some evening primrose this time just to make sure ;)

And snap it doesn't feel real and I'm on baby no2 aswell but I feel like it's going a bit faster now if not to fast

Are any of us ladies using bio oil or palmers butter ?? If so how regularly are you using it ??

I've been using a body moisturiser for ages, but not every day. Just when I remember, which is probably 3-4 times a week, or when I'm really itchy. Was given bio-oil by SIL when we announced, and have started using that in the last couple of days. I konw it's not for everyone, but I rather like it. Good excuse to have a little massage, I reckon!

Ive been rubbing mum to be belly cream in everyday for months and not got one (new) stretch mark yet!!
Lola. Ihave nursery pics for you but upload is really slow. Will try again tomorrow xxxx
