Kwarbee - I've had this so often it so weird! I mean don't get me wrong i'm normally a very chatty happy person but that doesn't mean people can touch me randomly! Why do people feel like all rules go out the window when you are pregnant?

I'm also getting pretty tired of the you are massive/tiny bump comments & the you've not put weight on anywhere else comments - like they were expecting me to just become spherical when pregnant

I reckon if someone randomly touches my bump again I might just touch their tummy too and see how they like it hahaha

It's so odd. I'm typically quite a friendly person too but I'm not a touchy person, especially not with colleagues. I just smile and bear it but I'm often wondering why they feel the need to touch me!

Oh, I know. I'm getting quite a lot of comments now. I've been called massive and a few people have been shocked when I've said I'm not due until July.

A colleague of mine has really irritated me today. I work in an office with nurses and they're often out with patients so they usually only pop in at key times (first thing, tea break, lunch, etc). And one nurse has literally made about 5 comments about me eating today. She said every time she comes in I'm eating and when I said at midday 'actually, this is the first thing I've had today', she replied 'and you expect me to believe that?'. Um, yes, and it's actually none of your business! Later she said 'oh, you're not eating, I'm surprised' and just moments ago 'eating again, are we?'.

I don't over-indulge at all. I eat little and often and always have and I typically snack on fruit. I'm concious of my weight gain but I wouldn't say it's excessive at all. I just wish people thought before they opened their mouths! xx

I love the idea of touching people back, see how they like it! It's just as odd; they do realise that they're stroking my skin and not my actual baby?! xx

OMG as if that nurse commented about you eating! I'd go uber bit*h and have a go at her for commenting (blame it on hormones)!

Honestly it's like free rein when you are pregnant I sometimes have days where I just wish people would F off haha!

The other one I get is when they do touch my bump they say oh it's not moving? like it's meant to move when someone touches it at random times in the day! Get away from me you freak (is what I want to say but don't haha!)

I'll find out tomorrow what I have put on at the MW according to my scales at home I have put on 6/7lb so far! I've been careful about what I eat too!

Ooh heck, I'm missing all sorts today.

I'm a bit lost with who has said what as I'm functioning on 3 hours sleep, for some reason that's all my body would allow last night, feel like I've been run over by a bus today.

Hope everyone is feeling ok and virtual hugs to all those that need them.

I'm jealous that people have their prams, ours isn't getting delivered until week beginning 8th June.

Baby was going loopy through the night, wonder if it always does that and usually I'm just asleep and miss it?

Do any of you have patterns yet? We're still technically a bit early for that I suppose.

Midwife on Wed, hope this bump is measuring ok.x

Crawkey - I hope you manage to catch up on your sleep tonight! I seem to have noticed a pattern with baby but it can vary a little day to day depends what I'm doing, I feel it less on a weekend coz I'm usually busy doing things whereas at work I'm sat at a desk all day so probably notice it more.
When are we supposed to monitor movements? Xx

Boosh think they say a regular pattern of movement should be recognised by 28 weeks and to monitor from then for deff x

I thought I was starting to notice a pattern a couple of weeks ago but not so much now, just an increase in movement. Got a few really big kicks that took me a bit bu surprise yesterday.
Still can't get my head around it being my tiny little human in there, don't think that part will seem real til he/she is born.

I don't have my pram yet, delivery 6weeks before due date...do you think that's a bit late?! Boosh, we went for carbon! Dad is a designer also so into that sort of thing and we develop/design together so nice to do something out of work!!

No one has touched me, I only just got offered a seat on the train today, don't like to ask!

Our pram is coming 4 weeks before due date.
I assume if baby was born any sooner than that they'd have to stay in hospital for a while anyway so should be fine.x

Productive day today I went food shopping and OH and DD has painted the little room cots up for later use too. Just need to sort all the stuff in there out so I can get it tidied and ready.
My stickers arrive tomorrow can't wait

I never thought to have my pram delivered closer to the day but I wanted the car seat here for when baby makes an appearance.

Tried to get a doctors appointment about this heart burn she said the earliest was end of next week

Can't sleep!!!!!

Fell asleep as 9 last night-regretting it now as I'm wide awake. Think I'm starting with allergies-surely it's not hay fever season already!!

DDD is double digit day,so when 99 days until baby is born!! Can't believe I've got oy 16 days until tri 3!!! Amazing-time is flying so fast. Can't wait to meet little one!!

I can sympathise with the "eating all the time" comments. My HEadteacher said yesterday (when I handed in my mat leave letter) "oh you're having a baby,I just thought you were eating too much and getting fat!!!!" Charming!! That's 5 times she's referred to my weight! I'm not even big. Have lost weight due to all the recent stress-wish I could just punch her in the face,but I think it might be frowned upon!! Bloody cheek when she's not exactly slim and her children are 21!!! Cow!

We had parents evening yesterday,during which one parent said "I think you having a baby is such a blessing for you. You're going to be a wonderful mum. Every week we pray for you and now we have your baby to pray for too!! Our son is so happy being in your class and can't wait to meet your baby!!" I started welling up-blooming hormones!!! Haha. Made the fat comment less significant!

I can't remember who said it,but I wouldn't worry so much about not having pram yet-although time is flying we still have loads of time until our babies come along. We've had ours for weeks and it's still in the box. We've put it in storage until we move although I'm thinking we may leave it there until closer to the time as it consists of 3 rather large boxes!! I'm liking the thought of showing off our prams though!!

It's going really quick isn't it! Would probably go even faster if I was sleeping properly! I honestly don't think I have slept all through the night since I was about 5 months pregnant with my first! This time it's cramp in my calfs and hip pain that's keeping me up x

I don't feel like I'm cooked enough for tri 3! I'm happy where I am thank you! I keep saying to my hubby it feels like we are having a baby in the future (it took us a while and some upset to concieve) so baby was going to happen in the future, now it's happening it doesn't really feel real! Xx

Hey everyone

KWarbee/ BonzE it was the Mamas and Papas Harrow set that we went for in the Argos baby sale. KWarbee we're not actually building it until we move house so I can't take any pics of it made up sorry (comes flat packed) but we've opened it up and it seems reasonable quality and the colour is lovely if that helps.

Angela- really sorry to hear about the operation. So annoying of them! Hope you get somewhere with your complaint.

Annoying about the hotel Twinkletoes Hopefully not long for you and will all be worth it when you're in your gorgeous new home. And wedding planning too- exciting times
