Not awful, lovely and exciting but there was a sad moment! Don't want to spoil it for you, was I treating to see when some of the babies were born honking gosh that's how big my baby is now! X

I have heard good things about Dr Browns too, but I think they're mostly for baby's with colic? They're also not as popular, so there's less reviews on them around. I heard good things about MAM too. My friend highly recommended Tommee Tippee and everywhere I looked the reviews for the Closer to Nature range were so good. I guess we won't know what suits baby until they're here, so I just went for a small starter pack and can always switch if she doesn't get along with them.

I'm not one for crying really but it did make me cry. It was lovely and upbeat for the majority but I think it should've had some kind of subtle warning at the beginning of the programme for what else happened xx

WELL!! I'm absolutely mortified! Had to have an ambulance out to work today. Had horrible chest pains and was being sick, they did an ECG but found nothing out of the ordinary, had a high heart rate but could have been because of the situation. They basically said it could be severe heartburn or indigestion, how stupid do I look! At home now with a bottle of gaviscon on the sofa, still in ALOT of pain :( xx

Oh Kaylip that sounds horrid. Hope you're feeling better now? At least they looked after you x

Oh kaylip that's horrible for you, rest up and lookafter yourself xx

Bloody hell, hope you feel better soon Kaylip.
What a day!

If anyone is buying sleep suits at the minute the ones in Morrisons are good.
£5 for 3 plain white ones and they have built in scratch mits.
I got a bit carried away and got 2 packs and some with little grey elephants on.
Plain white sleep suits are the cutest thigs ever on little teenies :)

Crawkey I got those with the elephants on. Soooo cute!! I've also gone for the tommee tippee close to nature set. I got the essentials starter set as it was reduced from £150 to £49!!! On amazon! I want to BF,but wanted to be prepared!!

Can't remember who asked about the house...we're still living in a hotel/appartment at the moment waiting for the next mortgage to come through! We've had to pack off our cat to friends :-( it's lovely where we are,but I wanted to get organised and get all baby stuff sorted before tri 3!! Don't think that's gonna happen. Also means we won't be going on holiday before baby come either :-( I want to go baby shopping to cheer myself up,but OH said there's no point :-( I just hope we get in there very soon!!

Baby has been moving around loads recently and been having the odd external kick, but OH is always too late and baby will do one and then no more!! Has anyone booked their hospital tour or their ante-natal classes? I'm getting worried that I haven't done it yet! My friend is having a whooping cough vaccine too (she's 27wks) will they offer this at next midwife appt??

Xx

Also has anyone got any recommendations for maternity cushions?? I feel I may need one,but don't know where to start looking!!! Thanks x

I have two hospital classes booked (one includes a tour) for the last 2 sundays in May and some Sure Start classes which start on 20th April.

I'm not sure how it happens in your area but I booked the hospital ones through the hospital's website and for the Sure Start ones I was contacted by them, they're run through the gp practice I think so they must have passed on my details.

The pillow I'm using is the long body one from Argos that was (maybe still is) half price in their baby event, only £6.99.
I'll probably end up getting a more rounded/v shape one soon though as they seem good for feeding too.

Hope a mortgage is sorted for you soon!x

Ugh, return of the double post monster.
My phone hates me.

Twinkletoes I was told At my last appointment that if be offered the whooping cough vaccine at the next appointment which is around 27-28 weeks :) I think here I have to get an appointment for nurse to do it :)

Ok this is quite an exciting day:
V-day
Booked a maternity photo session
Received a mountain of donated baby clothes
Out tonight with friends

Life is good.

Hope you're all having an equally lovely day x

Twinkletoes - I am using the v-shaped one from m&s. Works for me.

Woooooo exciting baby post today! Nursery furniture and changing bag both arrived. Really pleased with the furniture and love the bag. Probably my fave purchase to date- I'm such a geek with organisation, haha.

Aww Kaylip, really hope you're feeling better. Must have been scary.

Fingers crossed you get into your new house soon Twinkletoes. Glad you've got somewhere nice in the meantime though. We've just booked an NCT course but only because we're moving to a new area in May so won't know anyone so thought a longer course would be good to get to know people. About cushions- I got a dream genii. Was pricey but I'm soooo glad I got it as I have inflammation in my hip and it really helps. Also stops me sleeping on my back as much which makes both me and OH feel better

Happy V-Day Loretta! Glad you're having such a nice day :-) xxx

Happy v day Loretta :)

Well OH went into hospital for 7:15 on Friday morning sleepless night and all.
He sat in the waiting room got all prepped down to a gown ready for surgery to be told oh you can get dressed again we don't have enough beds !!!!! by this time it's 11am he's shattered dehydrated as he wasn't allowed a drink for 12am the night before or any food. We missed the funeral and I'm totally fuming how can they do that :( I'm so pleased I'm not having my baby at that hospital. We now have to wait 28 days for another appointment. I've said were complaining as they shouldn't of took it as far as ready for surgery to be told go home now.

Neighbours dogs barged through our fence trying to get my cat :( I'm not happy and not sure what to do as were rented and they are council and its a shared fence I'm just pleased my cat got away and my cat didn't get eaten and even more so that my DD was in the house. (Not the first animal they have went for apparently they got hold of a little dog) shame the other dog owners weren't bright enough to get it put down they are bloody dangerous.

Im just worried incase in the summer they get in OH said they won't but I'm worried :(

Anyways enough moaning.....
On the brighter side ive bought my Moses basket :) and some paint for babies room whoooo just need to get it emptied and painted now and hunt for some wall stickers :) it was OHs idea I think he's nesting hehehehe
Hope you are all ok :) heartburn is still killing me might go see the Dr on Monday.

Sorry, had a quiet couple of days, shared between bed and sofa. Feeling a lot better today, just a bit weak as haven't been eating much. Just had some breakfast, going to jump in the shower and then try return back to a bit of normality!

Hope you are all well and enjoying you're weekends, sorry to hear about your neighbours dog Angela, sounds like a nightmare, so does your OH hospital!

Exciting news about your nursery furniture arriving Lola, nothing wrong with being organised :)

Loretta, sounds like you had a fab day yesterday, how far along will you be when you have your photo shoot??

Thanks for the heads up with the sleep suits Crawkay, love the ones with built in mits, bought some from Next too!

Thanks for the well wishes ladies, much appreciated!xx

Great to hear you're feeling better Kaylip. Look after yourself until your energy returns.

I'm paying for a lovely night out with friends with lack of energy. OH has insisted I sit on the sofa and do nothing. Uh, ok!

Angela, horrid situation with the neighbour. Our neighbour's dog chased one of our cats once. Thankfully it only wanted to play and I was there so it got a short shrift from me and knew exactly which garden it belonged in, but the cats were still freaked. Hate seeing them upset.

Oh my god! Loretta, your OH sounds amazing lol my hubby managed to leave 2 days worth of washing up for me to do as I haven't been able to do it while Iv been bad. He did manage to push the Hoover round the living room, but don't I know about it!!! Lol xx

My OH doesn't know what a Hoover is I don't think. I had hoped he would of done our sink full of dishes for me as I was out with DD but nope they greeted me when I got home lol.
Neighbours are a pain as we have had to fix the fence 3 times now we have meshed it so our dog can't get out as soon as we got her but they don't care about there dogs harming anybody or escaping or the damage that gets caused :(

He's a good lad, really. He made me breakfast in bed too. Love him.
I hate sitting still though, so I'm appeasing myself by getting some admin chores done on the laptop, which I've been meaning to do for ages. Makes me feel useful without actually expending any energy!

Beautiful day out, so I may even suggest stretching our legs later. If I'm allowed! ;)
