_>•~*X*~July 2015 Mummies-to-be!!!~*X*~•<_

I think my OH needs re training lol.
Well spent today in the garden fence seems secure enough I hope, got my greenhouse up, next week I shall plant my veg :)

Are any of you ladies decorating a nursery ??? I hadn't planned to but I'm a tad excited to get cracking :) I couldn't with DD as both my OH and I were living at my parents house at the time

I'm in two minds as we are decorating our big spare bedroom all lovely and girly for my 18 month old to move into but we have a lovely cream and brown nursery she will be moving out of ready for bsby number 2 ... As I dudnt find out with number 1 we went neutral but as we know this is another girl I don't know if I want to do it pink ? Lol maybe I'll just leave it don't want to make to much extra work for OH x

I'd love my OH to paint it not sure if I trust him enough to not get it on the new carpet lol.
You could always do the brown bit in pink :) saves time on the long run hehe :)

Yeah good idea! He's not anywhere near finished in the other bedroom yet so I will wait a while before I mention it lol . If I wasn't so massive and didn't have little one to look After I would have finished painting it myself by now x

Had a lovely day out with my friend today we went to a local wedding fair and then went around some local venues to find somehwere I liked!! Only to come home and find the hotel has double booked and is full tomorrow night,so we have to move (again!!) then we have to move back!! It's such a pain-we just want our house!! Good job I'd had such a nice relaxing day!! Oh well. This will be our 6th bed we've slept in in 2weeks!! Grrr!!xx

Really sorry you're still having a nightmare with the mortgage and now the hotel too, can't believe they are asking you to move out and back again when you are the ones already there!

Well spent today shopping for clothes I can wear on holiday. Couldn't find decent maternity shorts online so have bought normal shorts in a bigger size. Got a couple of pairs of culottes from matalan for £8 each. Nice and roomy and look better than normal shorts. Just hope the weather in Tenerife will be good enough to wear them!

Morning Ladies,

Has anyone had their 24/25 week midwife appointment yet? I have mine tomorrow and was just wondering what they do is it like the 16 week one where they do the normal weight, wee, blood pressure, babys heartbeat?
Has anyone been given the Gloucose test yet for GD? Is it normal practice to test all mums to be or just if they suspect it?

Kaylip - sorry to hear you've not been well hope you are on the mend now xx
Twinkle - I can't believe the hotel have made you move I really hope you get your mortgage sorted soon so you can get in to your new home!
Roxy - we haven't started decorating yet (much to my annoyance) but OH & I have designed the feature wall I just need him to pull his finger out and print it at work!

Finally got to V day at the weekend next one is DDD isn't it?
I had a lovely chilled out weekend and on Saturday I got my new car!! Got myself a little Fiat 500 in mint green (I have named it Luigi :) ) It was a bit of a heart in mouth moment when we tried the pram in the boot but thankfully it fit nicely with room for the nappy bag and some other bits so was really pleased about that! I love it  (Pic attached)

Hope you all have a great Monday!

Loving the car boosh !

I had my 25 week appointment it consisted of checking urine, check blood pressure and listened to baby's heart beat (first time they have listened in) and that was it. Bloods are at the next app.

I've got to go for the glucose test as my mam is recently diagnosed with type two diabetes I have to go to hospital on the 2nd of April :( not allowed anything to eat or drink have to have bloods taken then they give you a sugary drink and then go back 2hours later for more bloods. Totally not looking forward to it

Hi ladies

Hope you're all well. I've been suffering with a bit of heartburn recently and have daily rib discomfort now but still feeling pretty good otherwise. Baby was so active over the weekend, we can see her wriggling about now. Before it was just the odd kick/nudge :)

Kaylip, glad to hear you're feeling better. Take care of yourself x

I haven't booked any classes yet but I really need to as I know they get booked up fast. I might have a look this week for ones that are available.

I have my 25 week appointment on Thursday, looking forward to hearing baby's heartbeat again. Hopefully my OH can make it.

Twinkle, I can't believe the hotel made you guys move out because they had double booked. They should've cancelled the other booking! Really hope everything gets sorted for you soon.

Angela, that's terrible that the hospital cancelled your OH's surgery so late, how frustrating. I don't blame you for wanting to complain, I would too.

Congrats to Loretta and Boosh on reaching v-day :)

Lovely car too, Boosh!

Lola, your furniture was the Harrow set from Argos, wasn't it? What's it like? Are you able to post any pictures? Did it come flat pack? Sorry for the questions, we're tempted to buy that set too

xx

Morning girls!

Toni, where are you off to? please bring some sunshine home! yesterday was so lovely!

Angela, sorry to hear the hospital cancelled your hubby's op and left you unable to attend the funeral, hope youre ok xx

Lola, very exciting re nursery furniture, what style did you go for? I'm still looking for my baby change bag...

Lorretta, photo shoot sounds fun, can't wait to see the pics!

Twink, I really hope your mortgage is sorted soon, one day you will look back on this as a funny story...I hope xx

Kaylip, I hope youre feeling better xx

Boosh, great car the fiat 500, I had one for a few years and loved it but got something bit when trying for a baby (work car so needed upgrading anyway!) have you got the joolz?

Boosh, had my midwife a couple of weeks ago and they did the same as at 16 week app! Have midwife again next Tuesday!

Any word from Lacey? Hope shes ok x x

So we ordered our pram and car seat! Started shopping for hospital bag bits! eek! also primed all the woodwork in the nursery yesterday and well as finally unpacking the last of our boxes...only taken a couple of months but feels so much better! Think i pulled my back as its pretty sore today!

Major bump envy going on, I'm teeny and everyone even the midwife said the same! measuring fine just very small bump!

Hope your'e all ok! xx

Which pram did you go for, Bonze?

Ooh  there's a newborn hearing clinic going on near my office and I love it because I get to see all the tiny little ones. There's a mummy sat with her baby girl at the moment, she's so cute!! xx

We should all post piccys of our prams when we get them up :) were off shopping I'm hoping to tackle the little bedroom and do a clear out! So I can get cracking ive found my nursery wall stickers too feeling excited now

BonzE, we're off to Tenerife for a week just after Easter. Current long range forecast is for about 21 degrees, so much nicer than here, but not quite shorts weather - not for me at least, I always feel cold and am used to 30+ degrees in Tenerife as we usually go in July/August - obviously not very practical this year! So will be taking a range of clothes - several pairs of linen trousers, skirts and shorts, T-Shirts, cardigans and hoodies - will be taking more for this 1 week holiday than we usually do for 2 weeks when I can guarantee being hot!

Kwarbee we went for a joolz, we live in the country and do a lot of dog walking so it was a good all rounder! My dad choose it (he's kindly purchased it for us and really wanted to be part of the choosing!) very excited!

Decided to rent the bednest which in happy about, seems silly to spend so much more when it can be rented with new material bits!!

Ahh lovely, bring us some warmth! I'm like you though always chilly! Needs to be hot for me to get my legs out!!

Jenny I have no idea what it means, maybe something to do with double digits left until due date?! X

Yep I think it's double-digit days. Less than 100 days until your due date :)

The Joolz pram looks lovely, Bonze, that's so sweet that your dad wanted to be involved in choosing it. My dad wouldn't have a clue

xx

BonzE - what colour did you go for with the Joolz? We have Elephant Gray which in my opinion is more of a pale Khaki green (I can't say I've even seen a khaki green elepphant!) haha! :)

I've had quite a few bump-touchers today  They don't just pat it though, they stroke it with affection!! I hardly know these people :oooo: xx
