Ahhh lacey you beaut!

baby has been very active today - which i am over the moon about - after 3weeks of reduced movement since feeling the first flutter, kicks left right and centre, the overdose on coke and cakes would have helped towards that i think
Could not be happier right now! Scan is 830am on thurs so...........40 hours

Hi Ladies, haven't had chance to get on the forum till today to update - been very busy with work. Had 20 week scan today and everything was normal and they confirmed he is a boy! So happy all is OK and to have reached the halfway mark.

Sonographer was lovely, she started off by showing me baby and letting me know heartbeat was OK before she did all the detail stuff so I wasn't worried. Then at the end she showed me everything - little hands and feet and his face. He was obviously tired out from being moved about to be scanned because he was yawning and rubbing his eyes when she did that view. He then got bored and wouldn't settle in a good position for photos, but got a couple of shots. Computer is playing up though so can't get a picture to upload. Will try again later.

Lovely to hear all was well Toni and hope it was the same for you too Boosh.

My little one seems to love waking me up at 5:30/6am. 3 days in a row now I've woken up with a good 20 mins of fairly decent kicks and nudges. It's lovely but would be appreciated more a couple of hours later :/

Got a second hand baby bath and changing box from my cousin today. The room is slowly filling up with baby items, eeek!x

Glad to hear your scan went well, Toni. Your sonographer sounds like she was great. I think they sometimes have a tendency to rush it a little bit and forget how special and momentous these scans are for us.

Crawkay, people keep telling me that depending on when baby is active during pregnancy can reflect when they'll be active when they're born! Doubt there is any truth to this, but it sounds like your baby might be an early riser!

Aw man, that had crossed my mind. 5:30am starts are going to be a shock to the system.
I seem to have noticed a little pattern emerging, 5:30am, 2pm and 8pm are really active times then the odd few kicks here and there through the day.x

Documentary on BBC 1 tonight at 10:45 called Childbirth: All or Nothing.
Follows 4 pregnant women and their birth choices.
Should be interesting but think it'll be an iplayer watch for me. I'm no good at staying up that late these days.

My little girls pattern of kicking and being awake definitely carried on when she was born! Lol 10pm she wouks start and then pretty much on and off all through the night .. Which she did. Hope this little one is quieter more chilled out x

First time round I was told not to use body spray or shower gel just a mild soap so baby can get to know the smell of you.

I'm just sitting down to watch it crawkay should be good.

I'm a bit jealous of you all I've had no kicks just flutters

Morning ladies,

I got the front page updated, finally.

If you have a bouncy after your name, you've had your scan and been updated. The first letter of your name is whatever you guessed/thought/felt you might be having, and the rest of your name and your stork are whichever flavour you won.

Please check I've updated you, as I trawled through a looot of posts and could have missed you, or if you remember someone else having their scan that you spot I've missed, let me know that too.

Gonna get started on my cot pocket now for a lil bit, then Ima head to ikea, see what fun stuff I can get in there. xx

Bit of a weird day today, it's the due date of the baby I miscarried last summer.
I don't feel sad, just a bit odd. So, so glad I have this little one kicking away and keeping me focused on the positive.
I think this date is probably just one that will be in the back of my mind every year.

Aaanyway, back to happy. Blackout blind is being put up in baby's room today, it's coming together

Have I missed a scan update from Boosh or has she not been back on yet? Hope all is ok.x
