15 weeks today :D
Every week feels like a mini milestone.x

Yay, to the milestones. I know it's just a case of time passing, but it does add to the excitement.

I'm too impatient for window shopping :( I see something I want and IMUSTHAVEITNOW!

Still doesn't stop me looking.

Yay to 15 weeks! Well over a third of the way through already

Im really.fucked off - today i feel huge. Ive been doing weekly pics and wk13 - wk14 the difference is huge. Anyway i was talking about it and my friend -"patronising already a mum" was like 'thats not baby - thats fat!' I was like.....well its not squishy realluly its gone quite solid and she started poking me really hard going ' thats not solid- thats just bloat!' I mean wow!!!!! For starters dont go around poking my already pained from stretching belly and then be patronising just because your pregnancy was different!!!! Dosent mean you know everything about it! Yes alot probs is still bloat but just back off and let me enjoy this!!!! Always trying to put a dampner on everything and everything has to be qbout them!iv3 just got a new house 'rent' bigger new blah blah blah so what happens............they go and buy a house! Now everything moving related or new house related is about them! :( xxxx

She sounds just, delightful...

Why is she your friend??

I'd tell her you know it's bump-not-bloat because you're actually having four, and the doc confirmed that.

Oh, and this obviously means you'll be moving out to a MUCH bigger place, tiny it sooooo nice of OHs uncle to offer 1/2 price rent and you're so sorry this is happening at the sameish time as her move, but just because your new house and new big family are now so much better than she could ever hope for, that doesn't mean her new house isn't still just beautiful...

Or maybe not, but sometimes people just fuck me off and I get shitty with them for funsies xx

Mega lolling at that! Well shes my best friend so im not sure if shes just trying ro be honest or a bitch but whatever - one less person ill speak to about it all! Xxx

Trying to have a conversation about names with OH and getting nowhere. He just says no to pretty much everything I suggest but has nothing to add at all, ugh men!

I have just read something that makes sense though, it's better to leave that convo til a time when it feels more real to him such as when you have a bump or when you have the nursery sorted.

Do other people have this issue or is my boyfriend just a pain in the arse?x

I think you may have a point about waiting til it feels more real for them. Mine is interested most if the time, but clearly baby stuff is not constantly in his thoughts like it is for me. Constant tummy pulls or bloating or other sensations mean I'm reminded in an hourly basis. I guess he doesn't have that alarm clock going off so it probably feels like I'm interrupting his usual routine with this new project. He's definitely not dismissive, but just not researching and googling like i am 24/7. Perhaps I shouldn't be??

It's only when it comes to names I'm finding him difficult.
He's happy to chat about baby, come to appointments, look in the baby shops, plan the nursery etc.
I think I will just have the conversation with myself for a few weeks and bring it up again when it's a bit nearer the time. Although by that time I'll have set my heart on a name just for him to say no, grrr!x

Fair enough. Love the idea of you chatting to yourself. Do you argue??
We'd all but chosen a girl's name while TTC. I'm not sure now and confused him by suggesting more options. Oops!?

Think we have both boy and girls name sorted just unsure of Middle names but we have
Riley for a boy and Ava for a girl : )
And my baby bump is called Cyril as my little man calls it lol x

Haha, I make too much sense for there to be any arguing.
We had sort of agreed on a name for a boy and 2 or 3 for a girl but as time goes on I think of new ones. It's such a big decision!
x

I went through a selection of names for DS. His dad actually ended up on the name we chose, and as soon as he said it (out of the blue), it was just, right.

He'd shown little-to-no interest in baby at all.

I think it plays on their minds a lot more than we realise, maybe even more than they themselves realise.

He may suddenly surprise you.

We've barely discussed boys names at all. We have one or two on the back burner.

We're still stuck on the girl name. I wanted Lacey, he wanted Ellie. Then I came out with Temperance (Tempy) which he agreed on, but he's still number-one-spot Ellie.

Her middle name will be be May. He said that straight off and I'm not gonna argue that (it's my middle name).

We don't really have a boys middle name (I like his, he's not keen). Xx

In other news: I have a 15w bumpy...

Lovely bumpy pic Lacey : )

Ladies I need some help and advice
This might be a bit TMI but I'm worried

I keep having a thick stringy discharge sometimes slightly yellow in colour or white
It's grose I have just been to the loo and got a clump on tissue paper I kept wiping and it kept stringing to the point I could almost feel it inside me pulling it was horrible

I got it cleared up but am concerned it's not normal
I don't have any itchy or burning sensations or odour with it just stringy stuff
I'm having to wear panty liners most days now because of it : (

Really sorry for too much info but any advice or reassurance would be greatly appreciated x

Thanks :)

Discharge doesn't sound out of the ordinary to me, hon.

As long as it's not brown/red/green, or funky-smelling, it's fine.

Your cervix builds up a "mucus plug" (you'll hear lots about this in Tri 3, it's lovely :)) to help prevent external infection getting to the baby.
Your body will periodically replace this mucus with a fresh batch and expel the old. Sounds like that's what you, Laura, have going on at the moment xx

Loving the bump pic Lacey. Does make me realise that mines still just bloat/chocolate tho :/

Out of interest, given that the tri 1 post hasn't been touched in a few days, are we now all posting here?
