I'm sure it's ok to take Paracetamol throughout pregnancy
It's about the only thing we are allowed to take for pains and bugs x

NHS site says it's generally safe but to check with gp/midwife and use lowest recommended dose.
Guess if you're healthy it'll be fine.x

Hi ladies. Just wondering if I can join you? I got my long awaited BFP last weekend, confirmed today with a ClearBlue Digi! Tentative EDD is 24/7/15 :) So excited but also scared something is going to go wrong, as apart from some mildly tender boobage and some slight pelvic cramping I have no symptoms, no nausea or tiredness.

Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Welcome and woohoo for your BFP!! I would just count yourself lucky with not many symptoms ;)

I'm finding I have a horrible taste in my mouth all the time - I haven't been sick, or even massively felt it, I just have an awful grotty taste. I do have a persistent cold so I don't know if it's just that rather than pregnancy...? Any advice on dealing with it? :/ x

Welcome Bridger and congratulations. I'm having hardly any symptoms either, but I didn't with my first one, so I'm trying to count myself lucky and stay positive. The only thing I had with my first pregnancy was pregnancy rhinitis. It feels like you've got a mild cold and stuffy nose all the time. AnotherYou, this may be what you are dealing with, try googling it for tips on relief, it's things like steam and saline nasal drops. Unfortunately if you are suffering from this the only real relief is when you give birth, so be prepared to get used to it!

Hi hope everyones okay! :)
Sickness has def got worse lol.
Toniwin I suffer from rhinitis in general its horrible isnt it, hope you dont get it this preg!

I'm back!!!!

Ish... Maybe...

Dumbass phone keeps telling me this website's "blocked due to adult content". :eyeroll:
PF... Porn Factory.
Jeez.

So, anyway.
Welcome Bridger :) I've added you to the list. Congrats :dust:

Someone asked about going to tri 2: yes, we will "move over", and "take this thread with us" (essentially, when we're getting close to the first people going, I'll copy the front post, edit it for tri 2, and we'll start again over there. It just means the first few ladies will be "tri hopping" (between tri 1 and tri 2) for a month while the rest all move over.
Once we're all in tri 2, this thread will just naturally drop down the page and disappear.

It's very exciting, moving over to tri 2. Especially when you get to watch everyone else come over, day by day.
I can't wait to be out of the danger zone.

I can't wait too Lacey it's very exciting and so nice to have us all stay together throughout this journey

I feel like absolute poop today
Have sore throat and a cold and headache
Got to go to work and drop my little one at preschool for 9am
I'm not even out of bed yet : (
Hope this cold passes soon
we can't even take anything : ( x

Morning!!

Welcome bridge and congratulations!

3weeks Thursday and I have my 12wwek scan; not that I'm counting down the days or anything!! I'm rely tired but that's about it, not even sore boobs! Have got trapped wind though!

I just want it to be December NOW!

Tri2 cannot come soon enough! Seeing little bean on friday was amazing and just clarified that i wasnt going mental and there was a bambino in there! I want to shout it from the rooftops and be able to talk to people about it and hit the first 'safety net'

Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd drop by to see how you're all doing. Sarah, LD and Trivita, I'm so sorry to read your sad news. I hope you're all coping ok.

Congrats to those of you who have had good news, very glad to hear!

My repeat scan has been moved to tomorrow at 8.30. Feel like my symptoms have started to disappear and I took a couple of HPT on Friday and both were much fainter than they have been previously so I think my levels are starting to drop. Convinced it's going to be bad news tomorrow/soon so I've prepared myself for that. If it's going to end, I just want it to happen now, I'm not sure if that sounds terrible or not. I hate this limbo.

Thanks for all your kind words after my scan.

Hope you're all doing well xx

Sorry to double post but I'm just struggling today at work. I work in reproductive health research and my office is in the Maternity unit and also directly opposite the termination clinic. I just had to speak to a termination patient and I'm in the midst of setting up a study about miscarriages and how women should be treated on the EPAU. It's just very hard and too close to home right now. Feel like I need time away from here and the worst hasn't even happened yet. :-( xx

Oh Kwarbee that must be so hard for you. I really hope tomorrow/soon brings you good news. My symptoms have lessened too and I think they can eb and flo so to speak. Sending. A big hug xx

Lacey missed you! X

What a horrible situation Kwarbee, really feel for you.
Take care of yourself.x
