_•~•*XoXoX*•~•_ JULY 2015 Mummies-To-Be _•~•*XoXoX*•~•_

Ima find out for sure. Did last time too.

I hate "it", or "the baby" all the time, I wanna know if I can say he or she.

Everyone's all "oh, but if you find out the sex then you won't have anything to push for..."

Uhm... Meeting my baby not a good enough reason to push?

Do they offer to tell you or do you have to ask? The temptation to find out if they come right out and ask must be massive!x

It's going to take more willpower to resist finding out than when I get offered chocolate haha! A friend of mine said she will tell the sonographer before she even gets on the table that they don't want to know, thinking I'd have to do the same! X

Ah that's a good idea. If they asked and I gave in think I'd be mad at myself. I know there'll be a million and one surprises as a first time mum but definitely want to keep gender as the biggest.

I saw an episode of One Born Every Minute a while ago where a midwife was having a baby and she said she usually finds that women who don't know, push a little harder. Maybe just nonsense though.x

We both want to know - looking forward to it, so we can start shopping for cute baby stuff :D

Just went to get my sample pot from docs and the only one other person in the whole place was the girlfriend of someone I work with. The world hates me!

We won't be finding out, I would spend too much money and am keen for the surprise! Might be tempted but both hubby and I have always said from the offset! My sister found out and named the baby before she came out! I want to see how it feels with the names we narrow down to!!

*tentative wave*

Hello everyone - I've just registered, just had a positive test yesterday and worked out baby is due July 20th next year! It's all very new and I'm just trying to get my head around all the things I suddenly can't do/eat - top of my priorities is that I've picked up a stinking cold from the class I teach and now can't take much for it!!

Anyway, it's lovely to be here and a big woohoo for all our babies due in July!

:)

Ahh congratulations and welcome! Hope your cold doesn't linger! Food wise, there is a great link by LaceyKeo in first tri section on foods to avoid!! X

Thank you!! Oh that's good to know - I'm already wondering how I'm going to live without Brie for another 8 months!! Just 4 weeks gone, it just doesn't feel real at all yet - it does explain how shattered I've been feeling lately though :) Can't wait to tell people, but I'm waiting until at least my first doc appointment to tell even my parents, then everyone else will wait until 12 weeks all being well... Exciting times! :)

That's good going! My mum knew the day she saw me!! Can read me like. Book!! Enjoy x

Congratulations and welcome another you :) x
Best of luck for tomorrow Kwarbee keeping everything crossed for you
What time is your scan? X

I know it's called morning sickness but 1:30 in the morning is surely taking the mick?
Been lying awake for the last 20 minutes feeling pretty awful. I won't complain, even though I kind of am, as I did wish it on myself. Just hoping it begins to pick slightly more sociable hours soon.x

I'm laying awake feeling sick too! 'Morning sickness' strikes me any time that my stomach is empty.

Thanks everyone. Scan is at 3pm. Will let you all know how it goes xx

That's exactly my problem. I randomly had a bit of cheese last night when I was feeling sick and it almost instantly went away. Not sure if it was just a coincidence but I'm trying to make myself go and get some now to see if it helps. It's dark and cold though :(

Will be thinking of you tomorrrow Kwarbee, hope it's happy news.x
