Girls, just done another cheap Spanish test...it's positive but really faint still, not first wee and after a bottle of water but I would have thought it would have been a strong line as I'm 5days late for af? Please someone tell me to pull myself together and stop worrying! I'm convinced it's a chemical and I don't even know what that means! At least il be able to do a first response and a digi tonight!

Eeeeeeeek. OH and I got engaged yesterday. Best weekend ever!!!!! So excited about sharing that news with everyone it makes it easier to hide other news I loved telling OH on Friday and can't wait to tell my mum when I see her next week. It's going to make her week. She was so excited for us when I told her we were engaged!! Party last night was a success (we had a halloween party with lots of our close friends) and I found it quite easy to hide the no drinking!! I tripped at one point and one friend said "someone's pissed already!!" Haha-so far from the truth! Haha. X

Boosh, its amazing isnt it lol I've been so giddy since finding out! Your OH sounds like hes being wonderful,I downloaded an app onto OHs phone but he hasn't really talked about it much etc! xx

BonzE, I was getting myself wound up with my tests not getting darker too, it was also annoying not really knowing what was classed as 'faint'. I'm now at the point where my test line is as dark as the control line so I should probably stop testing. I'm sure the same will happen for you too. Good that you'll get to put your mind at rest tonight.x

I've told OH and that's it.
No one else at all yet.
It's a complicated one as OH currently lives in the states, so there's a whole lot of logistical crap to figure out.
I've had a miscarriage before as well so I'm waiting to get a little further in before I start telling too many people.

BonzE, what sort of time are you getting back/able to do a proper test?
It could so easily be that the tests you're doing just don't show up all that good...

Twink, that's absolutely amazing!! What weekend for you, huh? Congrats hon


What else are y'all doing with your Sundays?
LOs daddy is picking him up any minute now to take him to Ireland for a few days, so that's gonna suck... I won't see him again until Thursday night.
On the plus side, it's really only Wednesday I miss with him as I work tonight, tomorrow and Tuesday, and then Ima work Wed morning anyway since LO isn't here, so it'll pass in no time, I'm sure.

I haven't been able to keep my eyes open much past 8/9pm, so working tonight until 1am's gonna be all kinds of awesome.

Oh well. Pays the bills, I guess... Lol

I did a CB and got a very clear positive straight away.
I'm going to do another test on Wednesday just to be sure, as Aunt Flo can be picky about her visiting hours, but my last period started on Sept 30th, so, I've now gone the entire (31 day) month of Oct without one... I'm 100% convinced. OH wants another one just to be sure and I'm more than happy to oblige, I'm just a little scared it'll show negative... Silly but true.

Just checking ladies but I take a folic acid tablet once a day
We should do this till 12 weeks shouldn't we? X

I took folic acid while ttc and I'm now taking an all in one pregnancy vitamin. I think just folic acid is enough though as that's all the midwife asked me about last time.x

I used pregnacare in my last pregnancy from 12 weeks so might carry on with folic acid for now
Then switch
All being well after results today x

The one I'm taking is Asda own brand. Contains folic acid, calcium, vitamins d & c, magnesium, zinc and iron.

I have tesco own brand vits and also have normal folic acid and normal vitamin D so not sure which one to take xxx

I would guess that the Tesco ones are enough if they're specifically for pregnancy. Don't quote me on that though!
