_•~•*XoXoX*•~•_ JULY 2015 Mummies-To-Be _•~•*XoXoX*•~•_

The specialist told me yesterday that cramping is a really good sign as it is the ovary the egg came from and the uterus embedding the egg! Happy news!

He also told me (due to history) to abstain from sex and strenuous exercise and to eat really clean!

Hope that helps, it helped me!

Morning Ladies,

KWarbee I would totally complain about that woman there is absolutley no need for that kind of attitude from her! Not surprised you are fuming!

Laura29 glad you are feeling more positive today & hope your bleeding goes away & stays away!

I don't feel too bad (so far) today, I was extremely tired last night but couldn't go to bed early as we had visitors so i'll be early to bed tonight and can't wait for my lie in tomorrow morning haha!

What are everyones plans for the weekend?

x

Well tomorrow is a day of relaxing - might do a spot of shopping with my best friend but apart from that nothing planned then Sunday we have a family christening which I could do without, we need to be at church for 9am!! Plus I'm just not in the mood for dressing up & I have to be designated driver which I find unfair just coz I'm pregnant! Who the hell wants to start drinking at 10:30 in the morning just coz it's a christening?! Sorry for the rant it just irritates me that now it's assumed that I'll be happy to wait around while everyone gets pi**ed and then ferry there drunk asses home! Erm No I just want to be at home in my PJ's and relax I don't feel like I've stopped since we found out last saturday!
x

Kwarbee I would totally complain too, what a bitch! some people don't deserve their job. I remember a GP said to me about 2 weeks before getting my BFP when I was asking about treatment as itd been almost a year " I wouldnt give you anything as your only 21, just go out and have fun, don't worry about it" I said OH almost 25 "thats still a baby. I don't know why you want kids this young. How can you even afford it..do you both work or not?" I was literally beyond shocked I just sat there stumped! What is so annoying is that we actually own our 4 bedroom house outright, and would be financially stable enough for OH to work whilst I was at stay at home mum. So that really annoyed me lol thought she was so judgemental and rude?

Going to take our kittens for jabs this weekend lol. I'm soo tired like literally could sleep all day :L then have insomnia at night lol! Starting to get bad sickness waves now lol xxxx

Honestly they are called health care professionals why don't they act like it? Millielaura I can't believe a GP would judge you like that because of your age, it's non of his business if you can or can't afford to have a child! God I hope I don't meet any small minded people on my pregnancy journey or I might just be inflicting some need for the NHS myself haha!
It's making me think about going private instead haha! X

Found this just now, puts me at 5th rather than 7th.
Just a bit of fun I know.

http://www.pregnology.com/due-date-alternative.php

Use this method during the first trimester. It is claimed to be more accurate than the more customary Naegele method (`all pregnancies last 280 days`), but you should still trust your doctor rather than an online calculation.
More accurate due date calculation
A study done by Mittendorf in 1990 resulted in this (first trimester) prediction of your due date. This Mittendorf-Williams Rule takes more factors into account, like race, coffee consumption and education. Some studies have found the Mittendorf-Williams Rule to be more accurate than Naegele's Rule in calculating due date.

That due date jobbie puts me at July 5th instead of July 7th.

Be interesting once the dating scans start coming in to see how adjusted peoples dates get.

Edit to fix: words are hard.

Hi ladies,

I complained to my old gp surgery about that horrible woman! Can't imagine it'll change anything but at least I've said something.

Millie, that's terrible of your GP to talk to like that. You'd think being health professionals that they would have the ability to never outwardly judge or pass comment like that!

I've just done that due date calculator too and it's put me at July 11th. It didn't ask my usual cycle length though but it was good to try :)

I have a relaxed weekend planned too, not got anything organised at all!

Just had an anxious moment about my constant abdominal/pelvic/groin aches and cramps and tried to book an appointment with my new GP. Was told there's none until the 18th. So I called the EPAU to seek advice and was then told 'you can't self refer' and 'it could go either way'. They told me to call the Urgent Care centre, which seemed a little extreme considering no severe pain or bleeding. Still, I called them and they told me to call 111. Called 111 and after being assessed by a generic advisor I was told that I should see my gp.

:wall2:

So sorry for the second rant of the day! Promise it won't be a habit xx

This first trimester is nothing but a massive stress!!
Can't wait for us all to move over to trimester two and hopefully be able to enjoy pregnancy a bit more.

kwarbee I would definitely complain! This is my second but with my first I had the same severe morning sickness as I do this time, was really worried as I couldn't keep liquids down and I was telling him this he says "where is the father? Are you still with him? Does he and you work?" I was like "erm what?!?" I was so shocked!! Even if I was a single mum without a job and the father had no job, how dare he say that to me especially when I was so ill and worried. I own my own business and my partner works but that was none of his business! I walked out and went to hospital where they put me on a drip. Horrible man he was.

Hi thanks for all the welcomes :)
That's absolutely disgusting to say that, it is worrying enough xx

ive downloaded an app called pregnancy+ its really good! I've been doing nothing but a bit of work from home, and yesterday fell asleep early and didn't wake up until 10am :0 couldn't believe it and feel so tired today but glad I'm feeling something making it feel more real x

I'm lucky I'm off today. Back in tomorrow though, and it's Rememberence Sunday so it's gonna be a busy one.

Still next to nothing, symptom-wise.
Looks like this pregnancy could be headed the same way as the first (touch wood).

What's everyone else up to today?
